09/01/2026: We'd seen a lot of advertising for this place, and everything seemed excellent. When we got there, we had a fish-based dinner (sushi). It didn't taste very good, and as soon as I ate, I knew something was wrong. The more I ate, the worse it got. I felt nauseous. By the time I got home, I had vomited everything I'd eaten. I had food poisoning. Plus, we paid a lot for what we ordered. (All this on the evening of the almond blossom.) So, they definitely had some leftover food that ended up spoiling, with the risk of people getting sick. I don't recommend it at all. And I haven't eaten sushi since.

23/04/2026: Amazing food and wonderful service. I had an Italian omelette, fresh juice and cappuccino. It was absolutely delicious and really well priced. I think I have found my go to breakfast place while I'm in Agrigento.

22/05/2026: We stopped because we had our eye on a gelateria further down the street, which was supposed to be open but was closed, and as we passed by, we saw the sign for Illy, which we love based on our origins and experience. The welcome, the service, and the flavor were excellent. And alongside the coffees, we also enjoyed a delicious gelato, which exceeded our expectations. I must also say that the atmosphere is comfortable, although the modern look can make it seem a little cold.

16/06/2026: We appreciated the option of the vegan brioche filled with ice cream, which was abundant inside.

10/06/2026: Artisanal ice creams, you can taste the difference from commercial ice creams. Worth a try, recommended.

01/05/2026: We had lunch in Racalmuto, the birthplace of Leonardo Sciascia and the birthplace of Gaetano Savatteri, where we took a bus trip on a beautiful Sunday in April. It's truly a rich town for tourism, because you'd never imagine a place with just 7,500 inhabitants has so much to tell and see. Lo Zenzero Restaurant was once a favorite haunt of actors and singers who performed at the beautiful Teatro Regina Margherita, just steps from the restaurant. Our assessment of the lunch was positive, and the owner, Mr. Andrea, and his young staff deserve encouragement, because those who stay in town and don't emigrate to find work elsewhere demonstrate courage and a desire to succeed despite the myriad difficulties faced by the people of this land... Thanks to Mr. Andrea, his wife who prepared the meal, and the girls who served us at the tables with kindness and great availability! Warm greetings from Alcamo!
