I had a fantastic dining experience at Ristorante Trattoria La Matrice. The restaurant has a charming, authentic atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Sicilian hospitality.
The food was exceptional—rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt traditional yet refined, with fresh ingredients that really stood out. The pasta and local specialties were especially memorable.
The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and passionate about the menu, offering great recommendations that enhanced our meal.
Overall, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sciacca and looking for genuine Italian cuisine.

The food was absolutely delicious! As a party of four, we ordered four different plates (as you can see in the photos), and we were all super happy. The calamarata (that pasta with calamari sauce) was especially tasty. Plus, the prices are so reasonable.

A cozy restaurant with wonderful view of the piazza, especially when eating outside. I had the wild boar ragu, which was delicious, pasta was al dente.
Had a tasty meal, large portions for a good price, and friendly service!

We sat outside in the sun once and inside once. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was excellent both times. Highly recommended!

Five stars deserved in my opinion, from every point of view, except for the service, but not for the waiter or the cuisine, but for the fact that the cheapest bottle of wine is 19 euros, and in my opinion, a house selection starting from 10-12 euros is needed. But for the rest, we are top notch... excellent flavors, quantity, and plating... the interior is well-kept and with the kitchen practically in view, but it is outside that I imagine will be at its best in summer, in the square with a view of the basilica.
