25/06/2025: They had recommended this rustic place to me and above all because they made gluten-free pizza... disappointed because in a pizzeria you don't expect to find the one bought at the supermarket... and unfortunately this situation is still in many places... from now on I will ask if it is handmade or bought. 02/08/2025: La Licata, a café and bar located on Via Francesco Lo Iacono, just steps from the famous Albero Falcone, is a discreet and well-maintained establishment. The staff, particularly the young people on the balcony and the young man at the cash register, are distinguished by their courtesy and helpfulness: a simple yet genuine welcome. Inside, in addition to the bar, there's also a tobacco shop, convenient for those seeking quick and comprehensive service. The interior is small but well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are a couple of tables outside, ideal for a quick break, although it must be said that there's no table service, which is a real shame. The only areas that could be improved are the restrooms, which could use some attention. In any case, the overall experience was positive: a good place to stop for those in the area.

10/05/2025: Locale situato in bella zona, raggiungibile a piedi, e anche caratteristico per la posizione nel vicolo. Alla ricezione persona attenta alla clientela, gentile, ci siamo seduti nel giro di poco (avevamo prenotato). Abbiamo mangiato pizza, ci era stato raccomandato, me è arrivata in un attimo!! Cornicione molto alto, sua caratteristica, ma a nostro avviso non ben cotto, come spesso accade quando la pizza viene cotta a temperatura molto alta per fare prima. Al gusto non male, però di notte si è fatta sentire perchè dormire è stato alquanto faticoso.

03/05/2025: Veramente con grande disappunto, perché un locale dovrebbe rispondere al primo squillo mi dispiace tanto anche perché ci sono stata in passata e mi ero trovata bene quindi a questo punto devo dire che il servizio è pessimo il fatto che non si possa prenotare senza rischiare che poi magari si arriva fin là e non si trova posto

29/08/2025: Reading the reviews, I think we were very unlucky. We went in May. I was very excited because we're from the countryside. The owner welcomed us and was downright rude to us. They were having a family celebration, and everything seemed very friendly, but he was especially unpleasant with us. I don't know if it was because we're Spanish, because we're women, or why, because we were very kind, respectful, and polite. He gave us an apartment that smelled horrible. It smelled like a septic tank, accumulated urine, dampness—it was truly unpleasant. We could barely sleep, with everything wide open and air freshener dripping everywhere to try to hide it. No one asked us if everything was okay when we left or arrived. It's a beautiful and very authentic place, pure Sicily, and I think if we had been in another apartment, perhaps the experience would have been different. But between the owner's bad mood and the stench, it was our worst experience in Sicily after 20 days of traveling.

23/08/2025: Reading other people's reviews, I agree with both the positive and negative aspects. The place itself has excellent potential if the owners were better managed. It's fine for relaxing and enjoying a couple of days away from the world, but it's not a good idea to have it as a base for a longer vacation. All this is because it doesn't offer adequate services, beyond towels, sheets, and cleaning. Breakfast is only written down, and I don't understand why it's not specified before booking, as it's not available on the property. There's no common area to make your own breakfast, nor are there cutlery, glasses, or a coffee maker. So you have to bring everything from home, but the question arises. What did I pay for? For a bed and a private bathroom, which doesn't justify the money. The shared refrigerator for the entire resort is very inconvenient and, above all, always almost full. Our king room was excellent in terms of space, but the windows don't dampen noise, so some nights you can hear the dogs barking. The Wi-Fi is very weak and only works near the owner's house. I'm very sorry, but it has enormous potential that isn't being exploited, and finally, a little more friendliness and hospitality wouldn't hurt.

15/10/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, with some of the furniture also quite old. The rooms are clean, and the towels are changed daily. Overall, it's very comfortable, as are the soaps. The breakfast was decent. The service was very attentive. Overall, my opinion is positive.

11/10/2025: Hotel Kroma in Ragusa — a short review: --- Positive: Clean facility: the rooms and common areas are well-maintained, with no obvious hygiene issues. Decent breakfast: sufficient variety, fresh products, and prompt service. Convenient location: probably a good base for visiting Ragusa and the surrounding area. --- Less positive / Areas for improvement: Dated appearance: the furnishings, decor, and perhaps even the finishes need updating to make it more modern and welcoming. Slightly outdated design: colors, furniture, and fabrics could be updated to offer a more contemporary experience. Comfort could be improved: with small improvements (lighting, bathrooms, and upholstery), the overall impression would be significantly improved. --- Overall rating: Hotel Kroma remains a good choice if you're looking for cleanliness and functionality, with a decent breakfast. However, if you're sensitive to style and modern comfort, be prepared to make some compromises—with some aesthetic investment, it could really improve and become excellent.

14/09/2025: Terrible experience. We had ordered pizzas for delivery, but after waiting for over an hour with no news, we had to go pick them up in person. Furthermore, the children's "patapizza" pizzas were made with baked potatoes instead of fried potatoes, as described. Disorganized and disappointing service; unfortunately, I don't think we'll order from this pizzeria again.

25/07/2025: Ho cenato alcune volte , locale caratteristico , cibo qualità prezzo nella media , un appunto sul cous cous di pesce su ordinazione , mi aspettavo un piatto prelibato , ma è stato servito un Piatto con cous cous agglomerato con patate e verdure e qualche pezzo di pesce penso cernia congelata, avendolo dovuto ordinare mo aspettavo altro.

10/07/2025: Attirata dalle ultime recensioni e dall’offerta abbiamo provato questo ristorante. Location molto sobria e semplice che offre un menu fisso a € 20, escluse bevande, con un antipasto misto ed un secondo oltre al menu alla carte. Optiamo per quello fisso: media qualità, porzioni non abbondanti e servizio un po’ confusionario. Sicuramente per quello che spendi ciò che ti offrono è corretto ma personalmente penso che non vi torneremo!

14/09/2025: Takeout pizzeria with a wide selection of pizzas, including organic whole wheat pizzas. Excellent prices. It's a takeout pizzeria, but with tables and chairs, so you have to do everything yourself. You get your pizza on a plate, cutlery, and glasses and drinks. Very good pizzas. Recommended.

14/09/2025: I ordered a pizza from what they call an inedible pizzeria. It was overcooked, or rather burnt. We couldn't even see the mozzarella with binoculars. The sausages looked like sticks. It was a very negative experience. I won't order from this cobbler again.
