LGBT restaurant in the historic center, nice, clean, welcoming (wooden interior), with platform and tables outside. Helpful staff, cheers Tati 🥰. Aperitif available with cold cuts or meat platter and cocktail included. Update: unfortunately the meat aperitif is no longer available and the cutting board is no longer of the same quality. Sin.

a prescindere da tutto quello (di positivo) che sarà già stato detto da altri, volevo documentare la gentilezza del personale. ho detto al ragazzo che ha preso il nostro ordine che il cane era stremato, giusto per chiacchierare, e dopo nemmeno 2 minuti si è presentato con una ciotola piena di acqua fresca per lui. è stato un gesto semplice, ma che non si vede dappertutto. grazie! ✨

Très sympa. Cocktails bons. Musique bien. Préférer le samedi soir pour l’affluence… le service est très bien. On avait peur en lisant certains commentaires mais on a été agréablement surpris. On y a passé un bon moment.

14/03/2024: Ho preso un cornetto e devo dire che era molto buono, così come il caffè. Personale gentile alla mia richiesta di avere un succo temperatura ambiente.
12/03/2024: Una Gioia ed anche un dolore..........., innanzitutto non trovare più Zio Franco grande mancanza di accoglienza,buono il personale ma la mancanza del calore di Franco Privitera...no. Locale che ha bisogno di una rivisitazione,la Tavola Calda è sempre Privitera.....ma la Pasticceria non è più uguale!Dolorosa la Cassa dietro il Bancone.....come un qualunque locale....ma chi lo dirige ha capito che è una delle più belle storie di Catania?

Trattoria Scalo Grande

07/03/2024: The fish is very fresh and well prepared. The spectacular appetizer with fresh marinated products and the flavor of the sea, tastings of typical products such as sardines with baccafico and refined fries. The spaghetti with clams and Carmelo style are not to be missed. The view from the terrace is ideal for a dinner for two.
17/02/2024: Gorgeous views & very helpful staff! I would say the food was missing a few items from what it mentioned on the menu. Ended up with oil pasta with shrimp. Lacked the fresh tomatoes it mentioned. But all in all, a good experience!
