03/08/2025: I'm trying again after two years. Thanks to Marco Larosa, last night my husband and I spent a wonderful evening in a very evocative location, with excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by expert hands. You're wondering where? All this at the Naka Restaurant, drinks & sushi with Mediterranean cuisine, right at the foot of Her Majesty the Cathedral. You can dine both inside and outside: we opted for the outside. The place is truly refined, very elegant. The table setting is very minimal, but with very refined touches, from the lamp to the metal chopsticks. Not to mention the real gem that really makes a difference these days...the champagne served in its 1920s-style glass. Truly remarkable!! (Enough with champagne served in a Prosecco flute... here at Naka, class is not water 😉.) Let's get to the food: the menu is well-described, divided into two lists for sushi and Mediterranean dishes. We opted for sushi; I don't remember the names of the dishes, but with sea urchins, Mazzara red shrimp, truffle, tuna, salmon...seaweed, and the excellent rice, it was a true taste experience, and each piece was an explosion of distinct flavors that blended divinely. In short, Naka confirms itself as a top place to return to again and again with great pleasure and the certainty of not being disappointed. The wait staff is attentive, discreet, and present, but never intrusive. Marco Larosa is an excellent host, always smiling and kind, ready to satisfy every desire. The price is absolutely in line with what Naka offers. 21/06/2025: Está bien. El entrante, el vino y el desierto eran muy buenos. Sin embargo, el plato principal, que era una pasta (primi) rellena de carne, era solo promedio, y a diferencia del resto de Italia, insuficiente.

08/08/2025: Five stars aren't enough! This place is a true gem in Messina, a must-see for anyone seeking professionalism and quality. The staff is exceptional, always kind and attentive; you can tell they're passionate about what they do, from product preparation to service. But what really won me over, and what sets it apart from all the other cafes in the province, is their attention to hygiene. Finally, a place where getting an ice cream cone or a brioche is a pleasant and safe experience. The cone is served in a special container, and they use disposable gloves for the brioche. It's these small gestures that make a difference, demonstrating care and respect for the customer. Congratulations, guys! You're a role model and you've definitely won me over.

13/07/2025: I wholeheartedly recommend Bar Espressamente Illy in Sicily! This place captivates not only with its delicious Illy coffee, but also with its unique atmosphere and exceptionally attentive service. Perfect for a quick espresso or a leisurely morning with a cappuccino and a croissant. The place is clean, well-maintained, and stylishly decorated, and the staff is always smiling and helpful. The great location makes it an ideal stop during sightseeing. I will definitely be back!

10/07/2025: The coffee is very good. We ordered coffee, toast and a mini cassata siciliana ♡ all was good and staff is super nice.

05/07/2025: Unlike the external appearance, which is rather anonymous, inside the environment is comfortable with a modern and refined note. Young staff, friendly with discretion and absolutely perfect, in my opinion. Let's now evaluate the reason that drives a person to enter a restaurant, the food. We enjoyed a fish-based aperitif. Different tastings, some obvious, others intriguing. All good starting from the bread, continuing with the tastings and in particular with the gnocchi with shrimp and pistachio and concluding with the wine that accompanied the dinner. I forgot an ice cream at the end of the meal was the icing on the cake. Well done.

21/03/2025: As soon as you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by the very friendly owner, a relaxing atmosphere ideal after a day of work, attentive service, varied menu, delicious pizza and grilled fish. Excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend it to everyone

14/08/2025: We had planned to have brunch at the restaurant next door, but it was closed so we ended up at GnamGnam Food. We ordered two American Breakfasts and they were really good. The service was impressively fast, which was perfect as we were short on time. The chef, who also takes care of the service, is top ! Grazie

12/08/2025: Good morning, this morning when I opened, I asked for a fruit juice and was given a fennel, carrot, melon, and peach juice with ginger without even asking. It cost €6. They had fruit like strawberries on display, so I don't know where you got the carrots and fennel, which aren't fruit anyway! The girl and the lady at the entrance were not very friendly. I felt like I was being ripped off. Never again.

16/08/2025: I have been going there for years and they have always been constant over time: quality, quantity, variety. The menu is periodically renewed by adding some new courses. Simone and Gabriele are two mainstays in the dining room, while the "boss" is in the kitchen. When I can I go to visit them and I never go home dissatisfied!!!
