02/06/2025: Together with my husband we tried the famous granite board with mini brioche. We chose the one with 6 different flavors of granite. The quality was excellent. Personally, it is one of the best granites I have tasted so far in Messina. Pleasant environment, located in the historic center of Messina a stone's throw from the Duomo. The staff is kind and helpful. The price is fair for the quality offered. Also, the gadget that was given to us during payment is nice. We will definitely return!

22/05/2025: We took the cutting board and tasted 8 different types of granita and the mini brioches with the tuppo all good especially the pistachio one 😋😋😋

06/06/2025: Unfortunately my experience was not positive. The ice cream had a strange consistency, almost watery, and the flavors were not very defined, almost tasteless. I was also not convinced by the brioche: dry, not very fragrant and it seemed not to be from the day. With all the quality ice cream shops in the area, I definitely expected more seeing the positive reviews. I don't think I'll be back.

27/02/2025: It goes without saying that here you will find real buffalo mozzarella that will make you regret not having been there before, but the entire choice of food presented in the window will put you in crisis as to what to choose. Ideal for a quick but quality lunch.

01/02/2025: Stracciatella scam... Today, Saturday, February 1st, I stopped by to buy some stracciatella, as I usually do. They told me it was being prepared, and it already seemed strange... huh!! I got home, made my crostini, and when I added the stracciatella, I realized it wasn't even remotely stracciatella, but mozzarella cut into strips with a huge amount of cream!! Simply pitiful... a real joke. Next time, it's better to say we don't have any... you'll make a better impression.

15/08/2025: Outstanding service. Beautiful presentation. It felt like a Michelin experience. Food was good but nothing mind blowing. We did a la carte so perhaps the tasting menu is more prestigious. No complaints and decent price for the experience.

12/08/2025: Our first impression of the restaurant was already spoiled, as it is located next to a busy southern road with constant traffic noise. Unfortunately, there are only two tables inside with a sea view; all the rest overlook neighboring houses. In the evening, trains passed right next to the restaurant, and there was loud music either from a nearby villa or from the beach. All of this is completely unworthy of a restaurant of this kind. The staff is excellent, and the dishes look appealing, but we found no new or exciting flavors. We left feeling disappointed and still hungry. After this restaurant, we went to another one.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, last night we had the terrible idea of ​​coming to eat with two friends at Trattoria Ducezio. We remembered the delicious meals in Calamosche; for years it had been our favorite destination. What happened? Greasy food, caponata full of vinegar, our friend had a terrible stomach ache, a unique disappointment and a bad impression on our friends. But where has Maria, the fantastic Maria, gone?

19/03/2025: I've been going to the bar for almost 25 years. Try the fried Iris, the donuts and all the croissants including the wholemeal one with honey. Excellent pastry shop with variety of cakes and cassatas. The coffee is an excellent branded blend and prepared to perfection. And then tobacco and much more. Friendly and helpful owners. Today, March 19th, more than 300 sfince exposed and by now they will have to be reintegrated. Very good and very fresh.
