27/05/2025: I have known the Spiga D'oro bakery for 17 years, I live nearby and I always buy bread, breakfast or various sweets there, the food is really delicious. The staff is serious about the customers and is always very kind and with a smile on their face, always ready to help you, not to mention the owner's wife, Mrs. Stefania, she is always present and also ready to help with her wonderful smile. I recommend trying the Spiga D'oro bakery at least once.

25/05/2025: The best baker in town. Warm bread in the morning and in the evening, pizzas, focaccias, and scacce as if made at home, excellent biscuits, fresh pasta, ravioli with ricotta always fresh, granitas and brioches… superior quality food.

10/11/2025: The place is small but welcoming, and the staff are friendly and professional. The pasta with creamed peas and guanciale and the braised beef ravioli are delicious.

06/09/2025: Excellent pizzeria, with well-cooked pizza and a light dough. The pizza is very well-seasoned and the ingredients are high-quality. Even though it was a Saturday, delivery was fast. The prices are excellent. The owners are kind and friendly.

09/09/2025: We stayed just one night on the way back from Etnaland Theme Park, which is just a quarter of an hour away. I should start by saying that we arrived at the property very late, and despite the hour, the owner waited up for us, welcoming us with a smile. Breakfast included delicious coffee and croissants, but there were many other good things available. Basic but comfortable rooms. The property is surrounded by greenery with a picturesque view of Mount Etna. What can I say? A positive experience, especially for the friendliness, helpfulness, and helpfulness of the owners. 27/08/2025: We stayed in five rooms and, upon arrival, were greeted kindly by the owners: helpful and friendly, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, however, the experience quickly deteriorated. As soon as we entered the room, I noticed details that shouldn't be present in a hospitality facility: toilet paper was almost empty and the bathroom trash can was full of waste from previous guests. The biggest problem, however, was the hot water: we all ran out during showers. We were told we had to take turns washing to avoid overloading the system... decidedly inadequate management for a facility with multiple rooms. Finally, the biggest disappointment: dirty sheets in almost every room. A detail that alone was enough to ruin the entire stay. It's a shame, because the initial kindness gave us hope. But care and cleanliness (leaving aside the aesthetics of the rooms and bathrooms) are essential and, unfortunately, were completely lacking. A very negative experience.

22/08/2025: Excellent piadinas, perfect for a post-canyoning snack in the area. Plus, the spectacle of the village elders playing cards, old-fashioned. Beautiful.

24/10/2025: A lousy welcome from the hotel staff, a soundproof room in a characterless annex, but then, as consolation, a good pizza in the restaurant and extremely friendly staff at breakfast.

29/08/2025: This place felt like being at your long lost Filipino home. They make you feel welcome and comfortable whilst you are there enjoying a drink and their authentic Filipino food which is delicious. Highly recommend going here if you like Filipino food!

29/08/2025: We lived in Palermo for 7 months and we came to eat here almost every week. The food is excellent and cooked with care, the ambiance feels like home. Might be a little wait (as we usually order a lot of dishes) but they serve it hot for you. Highly recommended!!

05/06/2025: A true point of reference in Villa Ciambra! The service is always courteous and fast, the staff is kind and helpful. The bread is very fresh at any time of the day, fragrant and with an authentic flavor. The rest of the preparations are also exceptional: pizzas, rotisserie and desserts always tasty and quality. A bakery that combines tradition and goodness every day. Highly recommended!

24/10/2025: It's been years since I've been there and I have to say it was like going back in time... a meeting place and a good cup of well-made coffee... excellent breakfasts... I still have to discover the rest... I have to say that now you can linger longer... there was a time when you couldn't do that... the atmosphere was different... I will return not only as a meeting point... "Let's meet at the Sun" 😄 but also to consume....
