18/06/2025: After traveling the whole of Sicily over two weeks, my wife and I finished off our stay in the quiet town of Zafferana Etna near Catania, and easy access to the airport. After the crowds and chaos of Taormina, Cefalu, Ortigia and Palermo, our stay at the Hotel Primavera was wonderfully calm. The location on the eastern slope of Etna gave us an amazing view of the Ionian Sea. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need, even packing us to-go meals as we missed breakfast because of an early flight! And the hotel restaurant was a gem, with outstanding meals each night we dined. I highly recommend a stay at the Hotel Primavera Dell'Etna. Not only is it easy on the wallet (look for online booking deals!) but the views and food made the stay memorable. Goditi il ​​tuo soggiorno!

10/08/2025: We came here on the recommendation of the hotel where we were staying; we had the feeling they had an agreement between them. The food is actually good, but the portions are ridiculously small and laughable for the price they charge. My advice is that before going to this restaurant, take a stroll around the city center or the surrounding area, where there's more atmosphere and options. We ordered tiramisu, which was very good, but it was literally just two spoonfuls.

09/08/2025: We paid €10 just for the table, and were charged four times for 'Calice Premium' wine, which we didn’t even drink. I had two beers, and my girlfriend had two glasses of Grillo. Also, to be honest, the food was just okay compared to other restaurants here.

Prices from the historic center like the Colosseum, Piazza San Marco in Venice, not to go far from Sicily, in Piazza Massimo in Palermo, granita with cream and brioche for 5 euros, in Patti 2 granitas with cream, of an extraordinary quality and goodness and a coffee for 8.50 euros, on top of that on the seafront... in Sicily, and especially for the people of Modica, these prices are truly illogical.

07/08/2025: Premetto che difficilmente faccio delle recensioni sia positive che negative, ma stavolta mi sento in dovere di farla per salvaguardare chiunque abbia deciso di andare in questo posto. Innanzitutto strada impercorribile , se non con un SUV. Proprietario quasi disturbato della ns presenza, cibo carissimo mal presentato e niente di quello che potresti trovare in un qualsiasi agriturismo, vedi salumi e formaggi. Posto solamente con l unico fine di fregare il turista di passaggio che sa di non poter tornare.

10/08/2025: Terrible pizzeria. They think they're ripping people off. The pizza is decent, but I wouldn't recommend it at all. The menu says pizza is €12, and then they charge you €20. I can't describe it. They spend half an hour for a bottle of water. The staff isn't very professional. If I could, I'd give it zero stars.

09/08/2025: The place is very charming and charming, especially in the evening, with the outdoor lights creating a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience was more negative than positive. We ordered seafood appetizers, and in particular, the "chef's appetizer" at €22 seemed rather expensive for the amount served. After finishing the appetizer, we ordered two pizzas ourselves. We ordered them at 10:20 PM and they didn't arrive until 11:00 PM, resulting in a decidedly long wait. Another negative note was the unpleasant smell of stagnant water, likely coming from the decorative fountain, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. It's worth mentioning, however, the courtesy and attentiveness of the waiters, who readily accommodated our requests, such as a change of chair for our child.

31/07/2025: The place is enchanting, with a truly wonderful view, perfect for a romantic aperitif. We expected something more about the dishes, however... Warm sardine meatballs, Trapanese salad, which I make better at home. It's a place with great potential, but perhaps today wasn't the best day in the kitchen: lacking love and flavor. Let's hope it improves, because it deserves it, because details make the difference, and today they were completely lacking in the kitchen.

27/07/2025: The location is fantastic, the food is spectacular, I recommend the busiate with Trapani sauce and fried aubergines, the red prawns were a delight for the palate and Valeria's advice was invaluable for making the most of the dinner, highly recommended.

28/07/2025: The food was good. Beware, there are a lot of wasps here. People can't eat normally here. The service was okay, thanks to the young staff. But there's a woman with a short, red haircut walking around. His arrogant, constantly angry expression is not even funny 😭 Because of her, we'll be skipping Da Lino for the next three weeks.

28/07/2025: Вкусное кафе с итальянской пиццей! Наконец я поела пиццу из правильного теста) паста орекьетте тоже обалденная! Советую! Дети тоже съели все заказанные блюда! Отличное обслуживание, чисто и уютно! На витрине в холодильнике красивые стейки сухого вызревания, хотим попробовать в следующий раз)
