19/08/2025: During a quick visit to Nuoro, we stopped at this historic café on the city's main street. Offering a traditional/tourist menu, we ordered: 2 mixed salads with mozzarella, a portion of salmon and arugula, and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. We also paired it with two Sardinian Marduk Pilsener beers, two bottles of water, and three coffees. The cuisine is practically unremarkable, given the cold dishes we ordered, which, however, were average in appearance, taste, and ingredients. The bill, €66 (for four), was also reasonable for the amount ordered and the efficient, friendly, and attentive service provided by a young woman. A thoroughly satisfactory and unfussy experience in a lovely historic café.

03/06/2025: An institution since 1875, perhaps the most beautiful bar in Nuoro. Excellent herbal teas, excellent everything. Seeing it closed breaks my heart. I hope the municipality of Nuoro will take action to help reopen a historic cafe, since it's no ordinary place and given that the rent was certainly not cheap... mistakenly. Just like they do in every city in Europe.

05/10/2025: A bad experience all around: We were there on a Sunday evening in early October. There were few customers. The seafood appetizer was okay, nothing special, but a good portion. Then my main course arrived. I assumed it was the wrong dish and asked the waitress about it. She didn't understand me, so I asked her to bring the menu again. Another, young waiter who spoke English came over. I explained to him that it was the wrong dish, and he asked me who we had ordered from. I said it was an older gentleman. I suspect he was the head waiter. The young waiter went over and told him the wrong order. I could see from a distance that he was visibly annoyed. Then my partner's meal arrived 10 minutes later, and it was already cold. My new meal arrived 15 minutes later. So we had to eat separately. The portion was very small. Not even a kind word from the head waiter. Simply embarrassing. The food itself was plain, but extremely expensive. To be fair, the seafood pasta, which was only available for two or more people, looked much better. Conclusion: A total rip-off. There are much better options.

02/10/2025: We wanted to put 2 tables together because the table for 4 was in the aisle and in the wind. We were told that it wasn't because of the table number. We were ignored and not served. We then left. The waiters were still grinning. Yes, that was the last time we had a wonderful lunch by the sea in Orosei in the Lungomare. It was excellent. Well, the Corallo has at least 4 guests less.

23/08/2025: We went here multiple times. Great beer...and cheap. Tasty pizza too. Service was good and prompt. Nice place to just sit and watch the water and enjoy Cala Gonone. Relaxing.

28/08/2025: A family-friendly, traditional, and polite atmosphere; we greeted everyone who came and went! This is a characteristic of the place and the Sardinians, who are kind and friendly to everyone. Regarding the restaurant, S'Inneperu (juniper) is a highly characteristic place. The symbols are evident right at the entrance: juniper, game, and copper ladles say it all. Inside, the place is classic and historic. The owners are very kind. We had appetizers and pizza because the kitchen was unprepared. The charcuterie board was delicious to say the least. The pizza toppings were local and indigenous. What can I say: I wholeheartedly recommend it.

23/06/2025: Amazing grill! 😋😋😋 With grilled vegetables, crispy chips and Ichnusa! Friendly and welcoming staff.

16/08/2025: With a beautiful garden sheltered from the traffic of Piazza Veneto. Breakfast and lunch. Children's games on the green lawn. Mini pizzas and sandwiches. Green lawn. Cocktails of all kinds. Professional and friendly staff. The ice creams are very good. Too bad they don't have Carpigiani. Located across the street from Dr. Poggiu's medical practice.

23/09/2025: We visited them for the first time to try the mutton as it's prepared here, called 'in cappotto'. I'd never eaten it cooked this way, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was very generous, accompanied by potatoes and carasau bread soaked in the mutton broth. You could also choose the tripe menu. Highly recommended for lovers of this authentic cuisine.

11/09/2025: I've been coming here for years, it's a shame that it's the end of their season, but the pig is always the best.

01/11/2025: I should start by saying that I made a reservation for 27 people just half an hour before we arrived at the restaurant, and they welcomed us with kindness and availability. They handled the situation very well (despite our confusion) and met our expectations with excellent sandwiches and mixed plates!!!! I highly recommend stopping by this place; you won't be disappointed.... A++ Mauro Casu

19/09/2025: We're still sitting at the table, and I couldn't wait to give my opinion, so here I am! Let's start with the service: two very kind, fast, and therefore efficient girls. The product: we ordered two pizzas by the slice, but their goodness made us ask for seconds. Truly delicious! One last thing, but I'd highlight it for ethical reasons: the prices on the menu are truly out of line, and this is truly a distinctive quality that deserves to be highlighted. We're in a seaside town in Sardinia, and finding a pizza by the slice for €2.50, a table-side pizza, or an Ichnusa 33 for €2.50, is truly a gesture of honesty that deserves praise. I wouldn't call them low prices, I'd call them fair, honest prices, and others should follow this example. I truly congratulate you. Thank you.

13/09/2025: An excellent first course of linguine with clams and bottarga. The grilled vegetables were excellent. Everything was plentiful and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back.

15/12/2025: The sushi and sashimi are super fresh and truly delicious! The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening. The staff is incredibly kind and always available. I'll definitely be back!
