14/10/2024: On October 13th we went to Tonara on the occasion of Autunno in Barbagia and even though with a lot of difficulty due to less than exhaustive explanations we managed to find Gli Asfodeli, I must say that we had a really good time, a nice place with a more what a satisfying and priceless service, perhaps the discordant note comes from certain MISERABLE customers who left without paying, and it really disgusted me. I hope to go to them again, perhaps by driving my own car to avoid the inconvenience of the long, very difficult walk for a disabled person like myself. Marrocu Italo

Helpful and kind staff, punctual service even when the place is full. Prices for breakfast adequate for the quality of the products offered, but not excessive.

24/11/2024: Very courteous and professional staff. Delicious, high quality products, the use for example of fresh Arborea milk, an excellence of the island, certainly helps to reach the high peaks of pastry making.

03/11/2024: As returning guests I am shocked about the lack of customer service when we had to cancel our honeymoon trip due to two flight cancellations. Due to circumstances beyond our control, two of our flights to Sardinia were cancelled, leaving us with no viable way to reach the island for this special occasion in time. We reached out to the hotel, explaining our predicament and the significance of this trip, hoping for some understanding. We proposed rescheduling to dates when they had availability, even offering to cover fees and price differences. Their response was a flat refusal, citing the non-refundable policy. This strict adherence to policy, even for loyal customers facing exceptional circumstances, is deeply disappointing. The situation was handled poorly, especially considering this was meant to be our honeymoon and we had stayed here before. Their offer of a discount on a future stay feels like an empty gesture that doesn’t address the real issue. While we understand the need for booking policies, the lack of consideration for returning guests in extraordinary situations is unacceptable. This experience has significantly damaged our opinion of the hotel. Potential guests should be wary of this inflexible approach, even if you’ve had good experiences in the past. For important occasions like honeymoons, consider hotels that value customer loyalty and can adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

30/10/2024: Top class. We were there in extra sezon, so we only got breakfast as the restaurant on the top was closed. Rooms are cleaned every day, easy access, parking at the church, and a few good restaurants on the square.

01/09/2024: Io e la mia fidanzata siamo stati in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati veramente bene: staff super cordiale, maître di sala (la dolce Manuela) eccezionale, spontanea, simpatica e smart, proprietari gentili e affabili. Per non parlare dei piatti! Abbiamo assaggiato la mitica fregola sarda con il pesce e era eccezionale, così come il vino e i dolci. Ottima anche la location… ci torneremo!

29/08/2024: Abbiamo assaggiato la pizza della Rosa dei Venti uno dei primi gg della nostra vacanza e non abbiamo voluto provarne altre! Le pizze sono davvero buone, impasto di qualità e soprattutto digeribile e ingredienti di prima scelta. Il menù è molto vario, comprende sia pizze tradizionali sia più ricercate. Consiglio crudo rucola grana e funghi! Squisita anche gamberi bottarga e calamari! Per i bimbi l’immancabile Goku (wurstel e patatine). Attenzione perché le pizze sono davvero grandi! Buona anche la focaccia. Staff gentile e servizio veloce. C’è una grande affluenza di clienti, il locale non è grande ma allestiscono i tavolini lungo tutta la strada. Veloci anche nell’asporto! Prezzi onestissimi, più bassi della media, quindi ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

15/09/2024: Ci era stata consigliata questa locanda ma il pranzo di oggi è stato deludente. Abbiamo ordinato trofie ai gamberi con pomodorini che erano poco saporite , sapevano troppo di pomodoro , ma quello che ci ha veramente meravigliato è stata la frittura di paranza : tre pescetti da zuppa di una decina di cm tutti risecchiti tre anelli e un ciuffetto di calamari gommosi , ho visto le identiche foto di questa cosiddetta frittura in altre recensioni, mi spiace di non avere fotografato il piatto , vedere per credere per 16 € !! Concludendo il miglior piatto sono state le patatine fritte ! Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo . Quello che mi meraviglia è che con tante lamentele che ho letto nelle recensioni ti rispondono " Noi la frittura la facciamo così !" Non ci torneremo e la sconsiglieremo !

17/08/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant, a nice place on the beach, but not recommended. After waiting for 1 hour, although the number of occupied tables was not excessive, our dishes arrived: spaghetti with clams, raw and with a few clams whose flavor was not it was nothing exciting, ravioli were certainly not fresh and not very inviting (I attach photos), grilled vegetables were not very tasty and dry. Furthermore, the glasses were smelly, I don't question the cleanliness, but please pay attention. The prices were too high considering the quality of the food. On the other hand the staff were very friendly. If these problems were improved it would be an excellent restaurant.

02/08/2024: Posto da 10 e lode. Cibo ottimo e di ottima qualità, pulito e tantissima attenzione per il cliente. Simona ci ha fatto sentire subito i benvenuti. Abbiamo ordinato 4 panini che sono arrivati velocemente ed erano buonissimi. Consigliatissimo! Tutto il personale ha un talento innato per lavorare a contatto con le persone.

30/07/2024: Chiosco gestito da ragazzi molto accoglienti, genuini e ottimi i panini di carne e polpo, molto buone anche le patatine fritte, ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

22/09/2024: Spécialités Sardes et méditerranéennes. Très bon,accueillant et familial. Voilà un restaurant enfin qui propose plusieurs spécialités sardes de terre et de mer. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et c’est excellent. De l’entrée au dessert, vous ne serez pas déçus avec un service chaleureux et rapide. le patron vient même faire le tour des tables pour vérifier que tout va bien. Nous nous sommes régalés de plusieurs spécialités en toute simplicité et surtout fait maison Les culurgiones qui sont un type de raviolis fourrés à plusieurs fromages avec une délicieuses sauce. Le frigo misto qui est tendre,moelleux et léger. En dessert, les petits raviolis fourrés à la ricotta citron que vous pouvez manger avec du miel ou du sucre, ainsi que les Seades qui sont aussi deux spécialités de la Sardaigne. Pour le prix, un petit peu plus élevé que la moyenne. Mais étant donné que c’était excellent beaucoup fait maison nous y sommes revenus plusieurs fois pour goûter à tout ce que nous faisait envie et on n’a pas été déçus. Nous y reviendrons dès que nous retournerons dans la région .

03/01/2025: Very fast service, excellent and unique food, a warm and welcoming and very nice place, the lady was very kind, the only negative note was little variety for those who don't like meat, cured meats and cheeses. Still highly recommended. The photo is an image of today's two starters

01/01/2025: The staff, it is clear, have become accustomed to working with people they have known for a long time and are accustomed to smiling at their outbursts. It's not a professional attitude. We talk casually about personal problems in the room. It could happen, by chance, that someone is more sensitive to good manners and less open to whining. One could argue that if you don't want to complain about busy hours or late customers, you should open a Post Office, not a restaurant. Furthermore, a discrepancy between the receipt and the sum of the orders from the menu is documented. Surcharge for wasted time or for condiments? Better not to call after a certain time for information or reservations (i.e. to spend money and not... to earn it!!!). Too much.... trouble. So it was.

29/08/2024: Très bonne planche mais 20euros la notre.. Il vaut mieux prendre les pizzes qui valent plus le coup ! Cependant de supers produits ainsi que de personnels. Un bon bar à faire !

22/08/2024: Sono stato lì circa una settimana fa assieme a una coppia di amici. Oltre a lodarne l'ottimo cibo, che consiglio a tutti di provare, vorrei più che altro sottolineare la cortesia e l'autocontrollo del personale di fronte ai disagi di un nubifragio che quella sera ha creato non pochi problemi nel locale e in tutta Cala Gonone. Nubifragio che è stato il problema minore quando, nello stesso frangente è arrivata come una seconda sciagura una nutrita carovana di "gente" verso la quale il personale, sempre molto educato e professionale nonostante stesse venendo giù il mondo, ha dapprima cercato di accontentare in tutti i modi nonostante i disagi e l'ora tarda, poi gestito con enorme pazienza quando questi lanzichenecchi hanno iniziato ad inveire in maniera cafona contro il personale, pretendendo da questo cose assurde visto il contesto e l'orario, per poi darsi a sceneggiate napoletane davanti l'imbarazzo del personale e degli altri avventori. Ammirevoli per come hanno gestito la situazione, con estrema ferma eleganza, anche quando alcuni di questi han provato ad andarsene senza pagare. Peccato si possano dare solo 5 stelle.

04/10/2024: Let me start by saying that I found this B&B by chance. I felt at home straight away, Marcello and his family were very, very hospitable. Available to satisfy all my requests. I was able to work 3 days in smart working in complete serenity. After all, Capo Comino is a quiet place where peace reigns supreme. Clean room, comfortable mattress, even better than the hotels I visited in the days before. The restaurant is good and the food is very good, at prices accessible to everyone. The structure is 30 meters away. from the beach, a true naturalistic beauty. A true and heartfelt thank you to Marcello, a man with a heart of gold who is not easy to meet in today's world. A nice interaction was born immediately. What can I say, if you are looking for relaxation, this is the place for you; I will definitely be back!!
