I migliori ristoranti in Nuoro

19/08/2025: During a quick visit to Nuoro, we stopped at this historic café on the city's main street. Offering a traditional/tourist menu, we ordered: 2 mixed salads with mozzarella, a portion of salmon and arugula, and a caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. We also paired it with two Sardinian Marduk Pilsener beers, two bottles of water, and three coffees. The cuisine is practically unremarkable, given the cold dishes we ordered, which, however, were average in appearance, taste, and ingredients. The bill, €66 (for four), was also reasonable for the amount ordered and the efficient, friendly, and attentive service provided by a young woman. A thoroughly satisfactory and unfussy experience in a lovely historic café.

03/06/2025: An institution since 1875, perhaps the most beautiful bar in Nuoro. Excellent herbal teas, excellent everything. Seeing it closed breaks my heart. I hope the municipality of Nuoro will take action to help reopen a historic cafe, since it's no ordinary place and given that the rent was certainly not cheap... mistakenly. Just like they do in every city in Europe.

11/10/2025: A magical and wild place. It costs €10 to enter the area. A dirt road passes through ponds that are maintained for fish farming, but also attract other wildlife. Just be careful to park in the available spaces and not in a different spot, otherwise you'll get a fine. Overall, the nature is beautiful, with a lovely pine forest, a lovely beach, and a bar that also serves food. I promise I'll try it next time, with a view of the beach.

10/10/2025: Both the fried calamari and the one with lime were excellent, the French fries were truly special, and the avocado toast with salmon was also really good.

18/09/2025: Spaghetti with clams and bottarga are superb!!

07/09/2025: In this beach bar we enjoyed coffee. We did not eat anything but the food served looked delicious!

10/12/2025: When there are parties nearby, it's almost a mandatory stop, and the crowds unfortunately make it difficult to consume food and even go to the bathroom. Too crowded!

19/01/2026: We stayed in the area for four days and dined at this lovely restaurant three times. The service was professional, attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. The wait was short. The portions were adequate. The first courses deserve a special mention. The price was reasonable. They also make pizzas. Mostly frequented by locals. Recommended.

29/11/2025: I chose this restaurant/pizzeria because I was looking for somewhere nearby, and the positive reviews convinced me. What I found was a clean, carefully decorated place, and that's just the first impression; the rest was a continuous and pleasant surprise. Greeted by one of the owners present in the dining room, I immediately appreciated his kindness. I wanted to eat something traditional, since I come from another region, so I trusted him completely; I must say I was delighted with the recommendations I received. The wait time was very short, and I was immediately struck by the care with which the dishes were plated, demonstrating an unsurpassed concern for the customer and a sincere love for their profession. The balance of flavors was nothing short of perfect, and it only made my mouth water. I ate a delicious appetizer, and the first course was equally delicious, accompanied by an excellent house wine, which is not a given. The evening had a special soundtrack, carefully crafted and played on an excellent sound system... I'd noticed a record player, and that also shows passion. I felt at home, and it was also pleasant to chat and get advice on what to see in the surrounding area, given that the Macomer area is home to many ancient sites that are truly interesting to visit if you're a true enthusiast like me. I can say I had a truly wonderful evening and a wonderful meal. When I return to Sardinia, it will definitely be an unmissable stop on my trip.

14/01/2026: Angolo Blu is a must-try in Dorgali, especially in January, when many pizzerias are closed. A big plus is that it's open, offers delivery, and, most importantly, you can dine in, without having to book. The pizza is a guarantee: quality ingredients, consistently well-cooked, and excellent dough, both thick and thin. I tried the thin dough: very good and light, easy to digest. The service is courteous, friendly, and fast, making the experience even more enjoyable.

05/12/2025: Very organized and super precise sushi! The waiters are all very polite and personable. The food is undoubtedly of the highest quality, among the best sushi we've tasted. One of my favorite things were the oysters, which not all sushi restaurants have!

28/12/2025: We stumbled upon this café by chance for a quick breakfast before our excursion to discover the local nuraghi. The cream-filled bomboloni are amazing! The owner is also incredibly kind and was able to give us invaluable advice on what to see and how to access the sites.

01/12/2025: I ordered steak with fries. The steak was a thin, cold, breaded slice, and the fries were hard and cold—a disappointment.

01/11/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, fairly quick wait times, well-organized dining room, zucchini flower appetizer with prosciutto, 10 out of 10, excellent pennette with salmon, and a superb carbonara, in portions so generous that you won't be able to finish them. We'll definitely be back every time we're in Nuoro.

24/11/2025: Sitting outside in the shade at a table, I go to the bathroom. My drink was on the table, and when I return, it's taken, while other tables are empty. No respect; the bartender saw and let it happen. I don't like it.
