18/01/2025: I wanted to share our experience at the Convent Restaurant, where we returned after a less than perfect New Year's Eve evening (problems mainly related to the external organisation). I have to say I was really impressed by their invitation to return - a gesture that shows how much they care about their customers. The evening was simply perfect. The welcome of the owners and all the staff made us feel truly special and appreciated as guests. The place is something unique: they have done an incredible job in maintaining the historical soul of the convent, enhancing it instead of distorting it, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Then let's talk about the food: every dish they served us was better than the previous one! You could see the attention to every detail, from the plating to the taste, everything studied to perfection. But the thing that struck me the most was the passion that can be perceived in what they do - you can see that they love their work and this really makes the difference. What can I say, after this evening you have won nine loyal customers! Not only will we definitely return, but we can't wait to recommend this place to all our friends. A big applause to the management and all the staff: keep up the good work, you are doing an exceptional job! PS: If you are looking for a special place for an important evening, trust me: this is the right place!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

10/01/2025: We stayed for New Year's Eve at the Convento San Giuseppe. A nice dinner and subsequent elegant party. All very well organised.

15/03/2025: Excellent Sardinian cuisine with a fixed menu in an informal but welcoming environment. Substantial lunch. Quick service and friendly, smiling staff.

07/03/2025: Ci hanno portato una selezione di antipasti, metà della quale non mangiata perché non gradita: testa in casetta, lingua, treccia e trippa. RESI. 60 EURO di antipasti! Come primi: ravioli al ragù e 2 porzioni di tagliatelle burro e tartufo. Purtropo si trattava di pasta al burro perché era prevalente, dominante con qualche scorza di tartufo in cima, da dimenticare! 18 euro cadauno. 2 secondi : capra in umido servita su una brodaglia che sapeva di vino bianco, prevalente, da dimenticare. Vino buono, raviolini fritti buoni. Lumache ottime. Buoni i salumi, il formaggio arrosto e su casu agedu. 152 euro totale. Abbiamo mangiato altre volte qui ed anche benissimo. Oggi delusissimi! Era il compleanno di mia figlia peccato, difficilmente ci torneremo. La ragazza al servizio tavoli cortese e gentilissima.

14/02/2025: Une carte très variée avec des produits de la mer (primi o secondi) excellents. Pour les amateurs de pizzas, une liste très riche et des prix imbattables (cela démarre à 4 euros)

01/03/2025: The restaurant has nothing special but it is nice. Delicious food. Never had such good falafel and hummus (I think made of them). The bread and pizza were perfect. Couscous with vegetables very tasty. The restaurant is absolutely not expensive. What I didn't like: the waiter (maybe the owner) is not super friendly but not rude either. We were offered dessert and tea without a menu (I have no idea about the price). We were given the total bill and not per item so I don't know if it was correct. From a glance I think it was but I would have liked it. It should be added that I saw that many customers went to say hello to the owner so they had been there many times. I guess they're honest. In short ... I will go back because the food is excellent.

08/04/2025: The shop itself looked nice. Ice cream was good, but nothing special. Didn't taste as thick as the ones I had before. I took the flavour Leche de condensada.

09/03/2025: Today I have lunch with the family. Excellent meat, side dishes and desserts. Very kind staff. Top place. The dessert deserves praise for how good it was. Mimosa cake wowwwww. Superlative. Delicate and very good. Taurus never disappoints!!!! See you soon...

I have been coming here for years now and every time it is an extraordinary culinary experience. The quality of the food is always impeccable, with dishes full of flavor and prepared with the freshest ingredients. The owner, Chen, is a person of disarming kindness: welcoming, always smiling and attentive to every detail to make customers feel at home. The service is fast and courteous, and the atmosphere of the place makes the experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious dinner in a warm and familiar environment. It never disappoints!

08/03/2025: A pleasant discovery, competent staff who were friendly and always smiling, for my personal tastes I would give an extra star for the wine list as I found a French wine that other restaurateurs don't dare, indisputable quality of the food, super well-kept place. Last note which gives further added value to the owners, a close-knit couple who work and bring their passion and tastes to the table, which can be a gamble but I feel like saying a gamble that if not taken you will stay at home. Well done, well done, Ps I wasn't paid for this review 😂

23/03/2025: Last night for the first time before the cinema I wanted to try this restaurant, what can I say WOW! Let's start with the truly top beers and of all tastes then excellent the new cutlet that was proposed to me by a good and attentive waiter, do we want to talk about the Lubianska? A dish much praised by my friends and I must say they were right 🔝. The sandwiches were also good but another thing that I did not expect was the speed of the kitchen, good desserts, paid the right price, what can I say when you meet goodness with courtesy and professionalism you can only be satisfied we will see each other soon….

03/03/2025: Non sono solito lasciare recensioni dei locali dove mi ritrovo come avventore, ma in questo caso devo fare eccezione. Da anni frequento Pirani di via Sulis avvolte per un semplice caffè, talvolta per mangiare e molto spesso per bere un drink e devo dire che per i miei gusti tra le offerte che la città di Cagliari propone in tal senso lo reputo tra i migliori. Il personale fa la differenza… gentilezza , cortesia e garbo sono di casa e che dire il responsabile di sala Alessio, un professionista eccellente, sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente ma sempre con riservatezza e garbo un vero padrone di casa. Ciò che descrivo non è una sviolinata retorica ma un riconoscimento dovuto a dei professionisti di livello in un settore dove purtroppo non sempre l’accoglienza è di casa. Grazie.
