09/11/2025: Very large, spacious, beautiful, warm, and welcoming room, equipped with every comfort. Kettle in the room, hairdryer, and TV. The food was fantastic, with truly delicious seasonal dishes. A great experience, plus the property is immersed in a town full of wonders waiting to be discovered.

24/01/2026: My very first experience at KOKO The Sushi Revolution, a super positive experience. They make almost everything gluten-free; when you order, they tell you what you can and can't eat. There were four of us and we asked for everything to be gluten-free so we could share, and we ate really well, from the appetizer to the chocolate cake. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is great. It's become one of my favorite places. I absolutely recommend it.

04/04/2026: What a highlight of our time in Cagliari. The food was creative and more thoughtful than most Italian restaurants are with veg in particular. Chef did wonders with cavolo rosso! Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and atmosphere is convivial. Book ahead!

10/03/2026: It's always a wonderful experience dining here. All the dishes bear the distinct signature of the charming and histrionic Carloforte chef Luigi Pomata. The route he offers during the tuna race season is spectacular. Prices are reasonable for the service and food quality.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day, with my girlfriend: This is the fifth time I've been to Pomata in a few months, but I'm still treated like a complete stranger. The waitress comes to our table after a long wait and sets it rather brusquely. Afterwards, while she jokes with the people at the table next to her, carefully explaining the dishes, as is customary in high-end restaurants, she almost throws our plates on the table, whispering, "tuna..." (it was a tuna fillet, with foie gras and cream, and eggplant mousse) and walks away... On another occasion, she's quite icy and finally gives my girlfriend a dirty look. I decide it's too much, and without saying anything to her, I get up, go to the cashier, and ask if she'd kindly have another waiter attend us for the rest of the dinner. The cashier, without even asking why, immediately takes their employee's side, saying, "Are you kidding? She's been with us for years... She's great!" I ask her if it's normal for a very good waitress to rudely place a dish on the table and leave without a smile or a description of what she's serving... something that happens in upscale restaurants and that I see happening at other tables. I ask her how I should rate their restaurant and repeat that I don't want another waitress to come to our table who, for no apparent reason, gives us dirty looks. While the cashier continues to say it's impossible and doesn't believe it, I return to the table. Pomata arrives and asks us if everything is okay? I say no, and when he asks for an explanation (not wanting to burden my girlfriend's evening), I invite him to have his assistant at the cash register explain it to him, to whom I'd already told everything. For dessert, a very friendly waiter finally arrives to serve us, who not only describes the dish but does so in a very engaging way. At the end of the evening, we go to the cashier, and neither Pomata nor the cashier, despite being present, offer any further information about our evening, much less apologize for their employee's rudeness. We leave, and while I'm thinking I'll hardly ever return, we meet the friendly waiter outside smoking, the only positive note of the evening, besides, of course, my beautiful companion. I think that food aside, in a place where expectations should be much higher, it would be enough to have a different view of customers, so as not to lose them...

27/02/2026: 2023: Kind and friendly staff, nice place, wooden tables without tablecloths; I think they would at least use placemats. The mixed grill was overcooked, even though it was requested medium rare; it became dry and lost much of its flavor. Overall, it was decent.

11/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, I ate spaghetti with sea urchins and mixed fried fish and, aside from the generous portions, the food is excellent and the fish is fresh and high-quality.

01/03/2026: Last night we had dinner at Da Paolo, and it was further confirmation of just how special this place is! I've been there often in the past, and it's never disappointed me, but I must say it's only gotten better over time: the quality, attention to detail, and service are increasingly impeccable. We started with incredibly fresh and delicious seafood appetizers, then moved on to perfect calamari and an amazing sole parmigiana, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each dish was meticulously crafted, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. The desserts were the icing on the cake: the tiramisu was creamy and delicious, but the gluten-free pardula parfait was truly excellent, an incredible surprise that won us over! Special praise for the service: the waiters were top-notch, extremely kind, attentive, and excellent at recommending dishes. We felt pampered from start to finish. A restaurant we absolutely recommend: we'll be back very soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
