23/03/2025: Discovered while walking through the center of Ceglie, it immediately became our evening reference point. The immediate feeling and friendliness of the owners, with whom we entertained ourselves in long chats, made us live the experience of real life in the village in a human dimension that is difficult to find. 15/06/2025: Today we celebrated my son's communion. Abundant appetizers (about 20 courses per person) two first courses and a second course of meat plus unlimited drinks (where the very attentive waiters always served fresh drinks removing the hot ones) fruit and cake included. All the guests were amazed by the quantity and quality of the food. Congratulations and see you soon.

23/04/2025: We went to celebrate Easter and our mother's birthday, unfortunately disappointing hot drinks, average starter, main course of meat and fish, I'm sorry to say but they were undercooked, definitely not to be returned.

30/07/2025: In short: this is a pizzeria that serves only good pizzas. We've been here twice and had seven different pizzas. If you're hungry and want a quick pizza, you should come here anytime. I don't understand all the negative reviews at all, because the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The owner even made us pizzas on the spur of the moment before opening hours. I also have videos of the pizzas.

30/07/2025: The best pizza in Ceglie Messapica 🍕. The chef bakes the pizzas himself in a stone oven using olive wood! The taste is amazing & the prices are around €5-9! You have to try them, they're incredibly crispy.

This cozy little gem is run by a husband-and-wife dream team who know exactly what they’re doing: he brings the fire to the grill, she brings the perfect wine to your glass, and together they bring you one of the best meals you’ll have in Italy. The steaks here don’t come in “small, medium, large”—they come in “bring friends or starve trying.” Sharing is mandatory unless you’re a T-rex. The sides? Just as memorable. Every bite was worth every kilometer we drove to get here. The whole place is delightfully tiny—maybe six tables total—so you’ll feel like you’re eating at a secret dinner party rather than a restaurant. Just don’t expect to wander in on a whim; you need a reservation unless your plan is to drool at the windows while someone else enjoys your steak. In short: incredible food, warm people, unforgettable night. Five stars, six tables—good luck getting one!

17/07/2025: Un repas typique, savoureux et généreux dans une ambiance conviviale. L’osteria propose une cuisine des Pouilles authentique, avec des produits du terroir simples mais savoureux. Les orecchiette alla cime di rapa étaient excellentes, tout comme les antipasti variés et copieux. Le vin local complète parfaitement l’ensemble. Le service est attentionné. Ici, on mange bien, on se sent bien, et on repart avec le sourire. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour découvrir l'âme culinaire des Pouilles !

03/07/2025: Es ist eine familiäre und authentische Osteria mit entsprechenden pugliesischen Spezialitäten. Was wir als sehr schön empfunden haben, ist die kleine Karte mir den typischen traditionellen Gerichten sowie einem Tagesgericht (welches sich tatsächlich als zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte darstellte). In der Seitengasse gibt es einige Tische ansonsten sitzt man gemütlich im Kellergewölbe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und gaben sehr gute Erinnerungen an unseren Abend!

22/07/2025: Terrible owner, truly rude. The number provided on Google Maps is unreachable, and I couldn't find out if it was possible to book a table at the restaurant because the answers provided were rude and unrelated to my simple question, "Is it possible to book a table?" Not recommended for those who want to be sure of finding a table even if they're coming from far away just to try the restaurant.

Excellent appetizers, first course with homemade pasta, cardoncelli mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, superb. They really deserve the compliments. We warmly recommend if you pass by Ceglie. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the ambiance: average, lacking any particular originality or flavors that stand out. But the real problem is the price, which is completely disproportionate to what's on offer.

23/08/2025: We cannot miss visiting Da Franco every time we are in Ceglie! Amazing place! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing vibe! Franco - the owner - is very professional. And all the staff too! I truly recommend visiting this place. The wine list is extensive.

20/08/2025: Introduction: There are a lot of us (40). We agree on a reduced-price menu for a trio of fried foods and a pizza round with drinks. Meeting point is 8:30 pm. We arrived early. It's 10:43 pm and we ate the fried foods and 2 slices of pizza each. Embarrassing.

26/04/2025: Pranzo del 25 aprile fantastico tutto buonissimo questo locale è una certezza da provare assolutamente per chi vuole assaporare la vera cucina tradizionale ambiente accogliente e proprietari simpaticissimi e gentilissimi siamo stati in loro compagnia dopo pranzo sembra davvero di stare a casa Pietro il proprietario ci mette passione e amore e tutto ciò si rispecchia nei suoi piatti sublimi grazie di tutto a presto
