30/07/2025: The best pizza in Ceglie Messapica 🍕. The chef bakes the pizzas himself in a stone oven using olive wood! The taste is amazing & the prices are around €5-9! You have to try them, they're incredibly crispy.

30/07/2025: In short: this is a pizzeria that serves only good pizzas. We've been here twice and had seven different pizzas. If you're hungry and want a quick pizza, you should come here anytime. I don't understand all the negative reviews at all, because the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The owner even made us pizzas on the spur of the moment before opening hours. I also have videos of the pizzas.

13/09/2025: No. Tourist trap! They didn't bring us what we ordered, but what was probably going to be used up. The food wasn't good...we left a lot of it. Absolutely not a recommendation!

28/08/2025: We went to this restaurant in August. There were two of us. We had a typical Apulian appetizer with lots of different selections and two first courses. Everything was very good. The service was also top-notch. The quality/price ratio was also good. I recommend it.

16/08/2025: Good evening everyone. I've been to this wonderful bar, or so my friends told me. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down, we didn't find any staff ready to serve us, resulting in an hour-long wait for a simple coffee. During the wait, amidst the shouting of the rude clientele that this bar prides itself on, we received a shard of glass broken by some rude teenagers. After almost an hour of waiting, the waitress, who we thought was underage, came over and rudely served us our coffee, forgetting to bring us sugar. Finally, after serving us, she proceeded to clear the table next to us, yelling and complaining about what the next kids had left. We were very disappointed with this bar because we've come to the conclusion that the rumors we've heard are false. Despite this, we later ordered a trio of drinks and an aperitif, and we're still waiting, a good three days after we ordered. Although we are not culinary experts, I must say that there have been occasions when we have been truly welcomed excellently, the service was impeccable and so was the order, so I love them.

17/07/2025: Un repas typique, savoureux et généreux dans une ambiance conviviale. L’osteria propose une cuisine des Pouilles authentique, avec des produits du terroir simples mais savoureux. Les orecchiette alla cime di rapa étaient excellentes, tout comme les antipasti variés et copieux. Le vin local complète parfaitement l’ensemble. Le service est attentionné. Ici, on mange bien, on se sent bien, et on repart avec le sourire. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour découvrir l'âme culinaire des Pouilles !

03/07/2025: Es ist eine familiäre und authentische Osteria mit entsprechenden pugliesischen Spezialitäten. Was wir als sehr schön empfunden haben, ist die kleine Karte mir den typischen traditionellen Gerichten sowie einem Tagesgericht (welches sich tatsächlich als zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte darstellte). In der Seitengasse gibt es einige Tische ansonsten sitzt man gemütlich im Kellergewölbe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und gaben sehr gute Erinnerungen an unseren Abend!

12/07/2025: If you ever find yourself in Ceglie Messapica with an empty stomach and a craving for steak that could feed a Roman legion, do yourself a favor and book a table at Enococus - Acini & Carbone—immediately. This cozy little gem is run by a husband-and-wife dream team who know exactly what they’re doing: he brings the fire to the grill, she brings the perfect wine to your glass, and together they bring you one of the best meals you’ll have in Italy. The steaks here don’t come in “small, medium, large”—they come in “bring friends or starve trying.” Sharing is mandatory unless you’re a T-rex. The sides? Just as memorable. Every bite was worth every kilometer we drove to get here. The whole place is delightfully tiny—maybe six tables total—so you’ll feel like you’re eating at a secret dinner party rather than a restaurant. Just don’t expect to wander in on a whim; you need a reservation unless your plan is to drool at the windows while someone else enjoys your steak. In short: incredible food, warm people, unforgettable night. Five stars, six tables—good luck getting one!

The number provided on Google Maps is unreachable, and I couldn't find out if it was possible to book a table at the restaurant because the answers provided were rude and unrelated to my simple question, "Is it possible to book a table?" Not recommended for those who want to be sure of finding a table even if they're coming from far away just to try the restaurant.

Excellent appetizers, first course with homemade pasta, cardoncelli mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, superb. They really deserve the compliments. We warmly recommend if you pass by Ceglie. 01/09/2025: I was on vacation in Puglia, right near this fantastic pizzeria/restaurant. The welcome was perfect, the food excellent (the orecchiette with turnip tops were exquisite), and the desserts were truly amazing. I recommend it to everyone, especially for the truly exceptional service, both from the owner and the staff. After our first visit, we had excellent food twice more, and three clues make a difference. The food is always good. Not to be missed. We'll be back as soon as we can. Thank you.

25/09/2025: Very pleasant place. We had lunch on the quiet terrace. Indeed, at the end of September, there are far fewer tourists. It's the only restaurant still open at this time of year. We had two pasta dishes, which were generously portioned and very good.

30/08/2025: Very nice ambiance, BUT: We had to wait at least 15 minutes just to get the menu. Then we waited almost another hour for our food, which was actually okay. The price-performance ratio is quite good. A visit to "La Baita" is definitely more pleasant if you're prepared for the long wait.
