Mr. Gino is very hospitable, and the atmosphere is beautiful and well-kept. The mixed appetizers for two are meat-based, with only salami in oil, and the rest is vegetarian, but very good. The orecchiette are generous enough to share, while the mixed grilled meat and potatoes are a bit small, though reasonable for the price. The small plate of sweet taralli and caramelized orange peels with coffee from the mokka was a real hit.

Nice atmosphere, excellent food, excellent service. A plus was that it was one of the few open at noon on a weekday, as here in Puglia, service is often only available in the evening.

People, Apulian or not, go to this restaurant once in your life and have no doubt you'll have a sensational experience: varied and carefully selected appetizers, homemade first courses like at your grandmother's house, and pure, authentic second courses.
And if Cosimo is serving you, you'll find friendliness, professionalism, and a touch of discretion that's hard to find elsewhere.
Well, if all this is accompanied by prices that are truly very low compared to the quality, then you just have to go because you'll be back again and again, just like I do now.
Increase the stars, because five just isn't enough! ❤️

A small Pulgian restaurant, few of which remain. Typical local dishes made with local ingredients. Not a restaurant like the one in Ostuni. Dishes you rarely find anywhere else, such as rabbit and lamb dishes, but also veal and lamb brains, deliciously prepared. For me, the best restaurant in the area.

A very nice and welcoming place recommended to us by locals. Typical, home-style cuisine, excellent. We started with a selection of very good appetizers, from turnip greens with baked melted cheese, various frittatas, ricotta and spinach meatballs, and various vegetables. Very good. Then came the classic orecchiette with capocollo sauce and cavatelli with capocollo sauce and salted ricotta, baked in the oven. All very good. Well done.
