22/08/2025: These cookies release an ecstasy of flavors, you can taste the craftsmanship in every bite, a dough so crumbly from which an ecstatic fruit filling emerges, I could not describe a better deliciousness than these creations, all of them, whether traditional, glazed or finely cinnamon, but also the pear parcels.. An excellent quality-price ratio and the welcome was priceless, since they were closing and cleaning the floor.. but they welcomed us with enormous warmth, you really find few like them, sincere compliments! Ceglie without stopping to taste these cookies is not the same!

31/08/2025: Simple, local dishes, and a must-try appetizer. The owner recommends ordering after their appetizer. It may not be a trendy place, but the food here makes all the difference. Highly recommended.
22/08/2025: We happened to be in Ceglie on our way back from Cisternino and found this restaurant, which was a real surprise. The menu is simple, with excellent, locally sourced ingredients, cooked with just a few ingredients to enhance the flavor. The appetizer is rich and plentiful, full of vegetables like purslane or fig blade with grated caciotta cheese, meatballs served with parmesan and spicy sauces, a delicate ricotta and mozzarella knots, various soufflés, bread and pizza, and delicious cured meats. We tried the orecchiette with very delicate anchovies, but everything was very generous. I would have liked to try more, but we saved room for the apple pie and the lemon and apple granita. Compliments to Mr. Gino and his staff. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: As soon as I arrived at Villa Kailia, I immediately felt welcomed. The place is meticulously maintained, immersed in nature, with an elegant yet never overly formal atmosphere. The food is top-notch: carefully crafted dishes, authentic flavors, and surprising pairings. But what really makes the difference is the service. Aldo and his staff are incredible: kind, attentive, and make you feel important without ever being overbearing. It's one of those places where you sit down, relax, and never want to leave. I'll definitely be back.
17/08/2025: We spent a perfect Ferragosto (August 15th) at Villa Kailia, immersed in the Apulian countryside. The location is welcoming and relaxing, ideal for an outdoor summer lunch. The menu was extensive and well-curated, featuring hearty and delicious traditional Apulian dishes, from the mix of rustic appetizers to the desserts. The service was friendly and attentive, and the owner, Aldo, made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for those looking for a genuine, convivial Ferragosto (August 15th) filled with authentic flavors.

17/08/2025: The Apulian appetizer was a joke... shrimp in pink sauce, smoked salmon with a glaze, and sautéed zucchini... the only thing Apulian was the mozzarella... I ordered the seafood cavatelli, and there were two mussels and two clams per order. The receipt read "cavatelli with clams and mussels," while the menu said seafood.
A complete joke and an exorbitant price.

26/08/2025: Nice food, big portion, there was a bit of confusion among the waiters, three of them came to take the order, we noticed that they served a bottle of wine to a table that didn’t order the wine and even our food was served to another table until they said it wasn’t for them…I don’t think we will go there again
26/08/2025: What a disappointment! The 9 appetizers were actually only 5. The grilled fish was almost inedible (luckily the guests were foreigners, they didn't understand). If you serve mashed potatoes and fava beans, DON'T SELL IT AS FAVA FAVA PUREE, and then justify it by saying that's how you do it!!! In Puglia, we don't eat like that!!!
Warning: the cuisine is only for foreigners/tourists.

01/09/2025: An off-the-cuff ‘drop-in’ occasion - and what a treat! Sitting in a quiet little side street, the hosts were most obliging in setting up a table for eight! The food was absolutely terrific - the freshest pasta and sea food, great wine and tremendous hospitality. It was a terrific local Puglia experience, and highly recommend giving it a try!

23/08/2025: Good morning. I've dined at this restaurant twice, and while the first time I thought, "It might be because it was so crowded," the second time I realized that, as a tourist, I'd been completely taken for a ride.
There were four of us with a reservation. We arrived at 8:45 PM. The menus arrived at 9:30 PM after numerous requests. On the waiter's advice, we placed our orders. I should have already realized that our presence wasn't welcome. However, the first courses, including appetizers for one of the house menus, arrived at 10:20 PM. The courses from the 11:35 PM menu hadn't arrived yet. At this point, I got up, went to the cashier, and asked for the bill. When I asked to pay a percentage, the owner looked at me and asked why. He explained that it was very crowded. I calmly showed him that all the tables around mine, who had arrived after us but were local, had already eaten and paid. He didn't offer a single apology.
28/07/2025: We’ve had a really great time! The location of the restaurant is amazing as it is just at the main piazza. Food was good and wine was really nice for really affordable prices. Giving it a 4 out of 5 just because we had to wait a really long time for our bill, which took a bit off of the nice time we had at the restaurant.

19/08/2025: We went to Aloisia based solely on our gut feeling... and we were right to trust it! The location and ambiance are truly exceptional, all '80s-style, a true reminiscence of the best years of our lives. Everything is themed.
The menu is comprehensive and varied, both in terms of the dishes available and the drinks, truly a triumph of taste.
The dining room staff deserves special mention: they are exceptionally willing to provide detailed explanations on everything, from the location to the dishes. Friendly and cheerful, yet professional and ready to offer advice and suggestions, they are the added value of a truly contemporary business that gives a nod to the past and thus attracts the interest of all age groups.
Highly recommended, even in winter, thanks to the large indoor dining room.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your genuine courtesy and friendliness. See you soon, perhaps.
05/08/2025: How can you walk past Aloisia and not stop? It's full of colored lights, it takes you back to the 80s, you sit down, start reading the menu and want to try everything. My favorite is R.E.M. but also Madonna and Dire Straits and then what can I say about the fried onion and the spicy pizzicotti. Well guys, if you've never been there, it's time.
