31/01/2026: The staff is friendly, but the wait is really long. We booked a table at 9:30 PM, but by 11:30 PM, we still hadn't had our pizzas at the table. It's helpful to have more staff and an extra oven for such a large place. Unfortunately, the wait ruined the evening. The pizza is like a piadina!

17/02/2026: I ordered a first course, which according to the menu on the wall should have cost me €4.50. I got to the cashier and they asked me if I only had the first course, and I said yes. They then asked me if I wanted a drink, and I said no. "It's €5.00," they told me. I then pointed out that the price on the menu was €4.50, but the lady at the cashier told me it wasn't up to date. I didn't want to make a fuss, but I wondered if I paid the extra 0.50 cents because I consumed too little, or because there was indeed a price increase but it wasn't indicated anywhere? Dishonest anyway.

11/02/2026: Excellent hot food, a variety of first courses, second courses, side dishes, etc., with a first course, second course, bread and a drink €12.50 and you'll be satisfied.

26/09/2025: It's so nice to have breakfast and immediately immerse yourself in Italian life. Everyone in this part of town seems to stop by for a cup of coffee. Lovely people.

29/12/2025: I visited this bar in Brindisi on the recommendation of a friend, but unfortunately my experience wasn't positive. I bought some croissants that, besides not meeting my expectations, were raw on the inside: it wasn't simply the lack of moisture from the cream, but a clear baking and leavening issue. They appeared cooked on the outside, but upon first bite, they were still raw on the inside. I also requested a piping hot cappuccino, but it was served lukewarm. When I returned to the bar to report the issues, the response was rude and unprofessional. I was told that "their products are like that," but I honestly believe there's a big difference between softness and rawness of the dough. It's a shame, because I had come with positive expectations. An artisanal product should be cared for and valued, not justified. I hope they can reconsider their quality and customer service.

28/12/2025: I've stopped at Peddy's several times late at night to get pasticciotti and cornetti... sometimes they're excellent if filled on the spot, at least for the cornetti, but other times they're terrible because when you cut the pasticciotti in half they crumble in your hand and the cream remains solid on one side of the pasticciotto, while the other half, half-crumbled, is empty. So I deduce that they were baked in the morning and sold at night, but in a 24-hour pastry shop I expect to find a product baked in the evening with a cream that has a consistency worthy of the name and not a clump.

14/09/2025: Disappointment We made an appointment with Sara, the event planner, and we waited 40 minutes. The result? We left due to a lack of respect and courtesy! We were called back an hour later, only to be told by Sara herself that she was chatting with the other couple from school! It's unbelievable, of all the locations we've seen and discussions with the organizers, this one was truly awful. I'm just sorry that such a beautiful place could lose customers because of Sara's behavior!

08/12/2025: I had lunch with friends on December 7, 2025. We had a wonderful time in a family-friendly atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. The appetizers were excellent, and the first course (mushroom tagliolini for everyone) was delicious. The quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

29/10/2025: Small portions, high prices, and overall a very uninspired experience. Paying €6 in Brindisi for a microwaved dessert with ready-made sauce from a tube is incomprehensible. And to top it all off, they said they didn't accept card payments.

11/06/2025: Siamo stati qui il 2 giugno, premesso che fosse un giorno festivo e anche caldo, il ristorante era affollato infatti abbiamo dovuto attendere circa un’oretta prima di poterci accomodare. Al momento dell’ordine, il cameriere ci comunica che alcuni dei primi piatti presenti sul menù non erano disponibili, quindi la scelta si riduceva a soli quattro piatti. Dopodiché ordiniamo un piatto di ricci, un’insalata di polipi, spaghetti con gli scampi e spaghetti ai frutti di mare, più una porzione di frittura di pesce mista. Il cameriere ci comunica che il costo dei ricci è di 1,50 € a pezzo, ma se volevamo quelli più grandi e pieni avevano un costo di 2,50 € a pezzo, il che mi sembrava abbastanza esagerato e ovviamente abbiamo optato per quelli da 1,50 €. In effetti non erano un granché, stessa cosa per l’insalata di polipo pagata circa 7/8 €, per una porzione davvero misera. Almeno i primi erano abbastanza abbondanti e la qualità dei prodotti era tutto sommato buona. Il locale è carino, in quanto si trova fronte mare, ma il servizio è fatto con tovaglia e piatti usa e getta. Il conto finale era di 63 €, con quello elencato prima e una bottiglietta d’acqua più un quartino di vino bianco, per la quantità dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato, ci aspettavamo qualcosa in meno o che comunque venisse arrotondato il totale a 60 € (trattandosi di uno sconto di appena €3), cosa che non è stata fatta e non ci è neanche stato rilasciato lo scontrino fiscale. Sicuramente non è un posto che non consiglierei, in quanto anche i camerieri sono stati tutti gentili, ma si potrebbe fare di meglio!

05/01/2026: The meat was generally undercooked and inedible and the bombettes probably had potato dumplings inside? The "decor" was like something from the 1970s in the US, terrible. The service was strange: first the grill, then the salad, and finally the appetizer. And it was expensive.

03/01/2026: If you want to eat the tenderest meat in the world, come here. You'll have an extraordinary experience. Everything you think you know about meat: reset everything. Here, Pasqualino, the owner, will make you feel like family with his friendliness and will let you taste his famous "only butter" regardless of the cut or type of meat you choose. I stop by every time I go on holiday to my hometown of Brindisi, and every time it's a success. Last time, I thought more about eating than taking photos, so the ones attached don't do it justice. Next time, I promised myself I'll add better photos. Pasqualino, however, no longer needs these reviews. He's already gone viral on social media with his hilarious videos featuring all the guests who've been there and left overjoyed with the unique meat experience... let's hope one day he'll also offer fish dishes.
