08/08/2025: We chose a simple menu featuring house appetizers and grilled meat. The wait was interminable and completely unacceptable, with the grilled meat served more than two hours after the appetizers. We reported this, but the staff completely ignored our concerns, without even apologizing or making any attempt to remedy the situation. We were left at our table for hours, with no attention from the staff. We will never return.

03/08/2025: I went to eat tonight with my husband and son, I can assure you not to go!! I do not recommend it, we ordered spaghetti with mussels and it was all and only shells, the pasta with tomato sauce for my son was very little and my husband had the grilled meat, perhaps that was the only good thing... but everything else was pitiful... so I do not recommend it and move on... not to mention the staff took two hours to take the order!!

13/08/2025: It was definitely a mistake due to the language barrier, but if I ask for 4 coffees, one of which is macchiato, and they bring me 4 macchiatos... I can't see anymore.

18/10/2025: Got one slice of the hot salami pizza and loved it. The tomato sauce, cheese, and dough all tasted real and fresh. I could’ve easily eaten a whole pizza. At €3 a slice, I was more than happy with that.

29/07/2025: Very good pizza with pepperoni and puccia with mozzarella, tomato and prosciutto.

21/09/2025: Lovely relaxed cafe. Visited for breakfast every morning this week and service was friendly and fast. Great cappuccino and coffee.

11/09/2025: I purchased packaged cookies for my daughter's baptism, agreeing from the start on a specific price that included the packaging (30 jars, weighed for a predetermined amount). However, when we picked them up, we were surprised: each jar cost almost €2 more, for a total significantly higher than agreed upon. It wasn't the first time this had happened: a month earlier, for another order of sweets, we had been given an additional tray we hadn't requested, and naturally, we were charged for it. The owner's behavior was disappointing: she gave confusing and unreliable explanations, including that the packaging wasn't included, when in fact the "all-inclusive" price had been clearly agreed upon when we placed the order. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I feel it's fair to point out the lack of transparency in the handling of the agreements. I won't repeat this experience.

21/10/2024: Graduation party, what can I say, perfect organization, more than perfect service, lunch? there are no words... spectacular. Under the direction of Mrs. Patrizia everything moved perfectly, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, everything was very fresh. Thanks again for a very successful party. 05/10/2024: 18th birthday party, fantastic location under the walls of the historic center of Ostuni. Professionalism, seriousness and competence characterize the entire staff. Rich menu, all fresh and of high quality, excellent management of the courses also considering the number of guests (approximately 80 people). Perfect and highly recommended!

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore

14/06/2025: Nuestra primera noche en Ostuni después de conducir 6 horas para llegar allí. Elegimos este lugar porque estaba cerca de nuestro apartamento. El aperitivo de queso estaba delicioso. El plato principal con berenjena no era bueno en absoluto.

21/02/2025: We bought the fish and sea urchin pulp from Nautilus, well known in Ostuni for its quality and knowing that there was the possibility of cooking it. Then they took us to a place next door which appears to have been a pizza restaurant before. €20 for cooking!!! 😮 €16 for cooking pasta (2 ounces)!!! 😮😮€3 each for the service (Paper placemat, chipped plate - non-existent fish cutlery) You clean the fish yourself!!!. 1/2 bottle of wine and water. Total €57😩 to add to the fish €64 = €122!!! 😰 (For 2) 🙃obviously without side dish or dessert or coffee!!! Dear gentlemen of Nautilus, if you want to lose customers, you are on the right track!

30/08/2025: Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the welcome was cold, probably due to a grumpy waitress. Later, I ordered fish and ended up with sand in my mouth. When I pointed out the problem, the waiter seemed completely indifferent... As for the location, the terrace is very beautiful, but nothing more.

21/08/2025: At first, we were hesitant because the parking lot seemed empty, but then we discovered that in the summer, everyone is downtown. The place is beautiful, the owners were super friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you want a quiet evening and good food.

19/06/2025: Attratti dalla location ci siamo fermati ma che delusione: Antipasto di cozze neanche male ma le alici marinate sapevano solo di aceto e assomigliavano molto a quelle di un supermercato. 11/06/2025: Siamo stati qui il 2 giugno, premesso che fosse un giorno festivo e anche caldo, il ristorante era affollato infatti abbiamo dovuto attendere circa un’oretta prima di poterci accomodare. Al momento dell’ordine, il cameriere ci comunica che alcuni dei primi piatti presenti sul menù non erano disponibili, quindi la scelta si riduceva a soli quattro piatti. Dopodiché ordiniamo un piatto di ricci, un’insalata di polipi, spaghetti con gli scampi e spaghetti ai frutti di mare, più una porzione di frittura di pesce mista. Il cameriere ci comunica che il costo dei ricci è di 1,50 € a pezzo, ma se volevamo quelli più grandi e pieni avevano un costo di 2,50 € a pezzo, il che mi sembrava abbastanza esagerato e ovviamente abbiamo optato per quelli da 1,50 €. In effetti non erano un granché, stessa cosa per l’insalata di polipo pagata circa 7/8 €, per una porzione davvero misera. Almeno i primi erano abbastanza abbondanti e la qualità dei prodotti era tutto sommato buona. Il locale è carino, in quanto si trova fronte mare, ma il servizio è fatto con tovaglia e piatti usa e getta. Il conto finale era di 63 €, con quello elencato prima e una bottiglietta d’acqua più un quartino di vino bianco, per la quantità dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato, ci aspettavamo qualcosa in meno o che comunque venisse arrotondato il totale a 60 € (trattandosi di uno sconto di appena €3), cosa che non è stata fatta e non ci è neanche stato rilasciato lo scontrino fiscale. Sicuramente non è un posto che non consiglierei, in quanto anche i camerieri sono stati tutti gentili, ma si potrebbe fare di meglio!

26/04/2025: Pranzo del 25 aprile fantastico tutto buonissimo questo locale è una certezza da provare assolutamente per chi vuole assaporare la vera cucina tradizionale ambiente accogliente e proprietari simpaticissimi e gentilissimi siamo stati in loro compagnia dopo pranzo sembra davvero di stare a casa Pietro il proprietario ci mette passione e amore e tutto ciò si rispecchia nei suoi piatti sublimi grazie di tutto a presto

10/10/2025: This restaurant is located in the center of Ostuni, just steps from Piazza Sant'Oronzo. There are both outdoor and indoor tables at street level, as well as a small room on the mezzanine. We tried both the traditional dish of fresh orecchiette with meatball sauce and braciola with cacioricotta, both delicious, and a pizza "Città Bianca" with spicy salami, also very good. This is a typical restaurant with various traditional items, such as the Apulian "pumo" (good luck charm), available in many variations. The wine list is good, and water is on tap. Good value for money. Recommended! Anyone who says otherwise is absolutely lying!

30/09/2025: Our worst Ostuni dining experience due to the host. We waited 40 minutes for a patio table as the place had come so highly recommended. The server assured the group of young ladies behind us that he’d seat them asap, which he did, even though they’d arrived after our family and admitted that they, like us, didn’t have a reservation. The salad was simply lettuce with a few sliced tomatoes. The bag of bread was standard. The orecchiette with tomato sauce and the pizza were okay. The young man bussing the tables was very nice and friendly, but our experience with the gentleman server giving preferential treatment was certainly off putting and unpleasant.
