01/05/2025: We went today for the first time, apart from the wait for the table, ok... okay... we were in disbelief for a moment at what was happening between the kitchen and the dining room, we thought it was a folkloristic way, also given the name of the place.... instead the cook was serious, even if she apologized, anyway we had lunch quickly in a hostile climate, I can't judge the food because the work was a victim of the tension of the moment, served roughly, reheated a dish taken from counter, obviously paid for just done....sorry, but next time I will avoid Piazza Teatro, in fact we perhaps recommend making today at least a format for this activity...thanks anyway for having us

24/04/2025: We went for lunch on Easter Monday, we noticed a bit of inexperience in table service, probably a pinch of inexperience, which however was rewarded by the willingness and friendliness of the waiters. The pizza was delicious and very digestible, but the real surprise were the first courses, of excellent workmanship, worthy of a high-level restaurant... congratulations to the pizza chef, the chef and the guys who were friendly and helpful until the end.

20/04/2025: The best pizza in Trani!!! Small but welcoming environment, efficient and kind service and the best pizza I've ever eaten in Trani. Light dough and very fresh products!!! The only flaw? It's addictive!

05/02/2025: We where there in late August 2024, the place is not to large always full, we dine in. Friendly stuff! The pizza, well, that is another story: one world bellisimo, more than bellissimo! My friends, is a must to try a great vero Italian pizza! Recomend!

11/03/2025: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this wine shop. After a tasting of Apulian wines together with colleagues from AIS, I decided to place an order via the website of this wine shop. The wine arrived on time and well packaged, even if the bottles with dust on them is not exactly a great presentation. During an evening of tastings we opened a bottle and unfortunately it was completely corked, wine to be thrown away; it's something that can happen, it's not the seller's fault, but since a bottle costs almost 30 euros it is usually exchanged for a good one. I pointed out this problem to the seller, also attaching photos of the cork, and they replied that if I had placed another order they would have inserted the bottle to compensate for the faulty one. Well, I make another order, in which I specify in the notes not to forget the compensation bottle. The box arrives but the promised bottle is not there! Deeply disappointed, I felt cheated. I don't think I will order any more from this wine shop

02/03/2025: Restaurant and pizzeria known in the city of Trani since time immemorial. The quality of the food and the dishes is equally notable. Recently renovated location, it gives an elegance that is not expected for restaurants of this kind. For years now in the Apulian area, I have had the opportunity to taste various types of focaccia, but never as good as the one baked by Arcate. Last but not least, I would never have expected quality meat like the one served, even horse meat. Add to all this the availability and courtesy of the owners together with the professionalism of the staff and the location of the office practically on the port and the experience will certainly be unforgettable. Highly recommended.

22/01/2025: The terrace is certainly enchanting overlooking the Port of Trani, but the interior rooms are of an epochal refinement in a maritime style, characteristic to say the least, the welcome is superlative and the food is exquisite, fresh fish and particular Apulian wines. Definitely coming back.

21/04/2025: I'm sorry to have to put this negative review, unfortunately we ate very badly. We wanted to eat something quick, outside we saw that they served potatoes, rice and mussels and Sorrento style gnocchi for Easter Monday. We sit inside in a small room, where there were waiters and people coming and going, since we had the bathroom a few meters away. Okay it doesn't matter. We order the gnocchi but they were not available, so we opt for the pizza (4 pizzas), 2 mixed fried starters, a terrine of mozzarella in carrozza which should have been 5 but there were 4, two plates of potatoes, rice and mussels. We waited 1 hour for the mozzarella to arrive which had nothing to offer and was dry, mixed fried appetizers with chips, potato croquettes and 2 crab claws cold from the inside, 2 chicken nuggets, all salted more than necessary. After 20 minutes the pizzas arrive, similar to the frozen ones from the discount store, both in terms of dough and ingredients. Even these savory ones. I don't know how they write excellent pizza in reviews, they've probably never eaten a decent pizza... Potatoes, rice and mussels inedible, dry, tasteless and full of small pieces of broken shell that ended up in my mouth and forced me to spit everything into my handkerchief. Very very unpleasant thing to do! After two forkfuls I refused to continue eating. My partner tasted the other dish and left it whole! An insult to Apulian cuisine! Better not to propose a dish like this if you don't know how to cook it! The waitresses were friendly and helpful, the only positive thing. Low prices, but I prefer to pay more and have quality! Total cost approximately 75 euros. Two plates of rice thrown away, one person was left almost starving.

23/03/2025: We came here yesterday for the second time but we won't go there again, we ordered two "zampina" below meaning the sandwich that is called that and we received the plated sausage, when on the menu it is explicitly called "zampina sausage" and not "zampina", the name of the sandwich. To make up for it they gave us the bread saying "assemble it yourself" and it was a very dry inedible bread, which we left because it stuck in our throat, on the other hand they didn't give us any other sauces and the ones we had were insufficient for everyone and also not suitable for the sandwich. Now, I understand that it is 11am on a Saturday and everyone is a bit full (even if the place was already empty) but there is no need to be so approximate, I have respect for this sector and in my opinion it makes no sense to question the waiters but another would have been upset because it is neither the right way to respond nor the right way to serve that food.

08/05/2025: El 4o día de una estancia de 5 días en Trani decidí venir aquí para el almuerzo. Mis expectativas eran altas y no me decepcionó. Un hermoso comedor (como lo expresa el nombre del restaurante) , un servicio amable pero altamente profesional, los ingredientes más frescos y platos bellamente preparados y emplatados que muestran la cantidad justa de creatividad. Empecé con el plato antipasti crudo y seguí con los antipasti calientes, se complementaban maravillosamente. Las golosinas de chocolate servidas con café fueron más que suficientes como postre. Felicitaciones a Michele y su encantador personal.

05/05/2025: Resta, a mio personale giudizio, il.o tra i migliori ristoranti di Trani. Antipasti di carpacci e crudo ai massimi livelli di pezzatura e freschezza. Unico appunto, i primi a parità di primi piatti, in questa occasione, non come in passato. Appena peggio, però. Ma può capitare. Secondi di crostacei. Ottimi. Insomma tra i top restaurant. Da consigliare, da ritornare, da riassaporare. Prezzi alti. Ma......

04/04/2025: Ottima pizza, non condivido il loro modo di gestire la lista d’aspetto,che si organizza non in base all’arrivo ma in base al tavolo che si libera con posti X…. perciò meglio andarci in settimana, dopo decine di volte le ultime due sono state troppo pesanti….per esempio 1h15min per un tavolo da 4+sediolone e sono passati avanti 4 che sono venuti mezz’ora dopo di noi, in questo caso abbiamo avvisato la signora dell’accaduto e siamo andati via.

28/04/2025: Colazione top, miglior posto dove fare la colazione a Trani. Servizio cortese e ambiente silenzioso, i mini croissant sono assolutamente da provare.
