19/05/2026: Recently, and for the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant. I'll start by saying that my tastes are very particular, as are the details I pay attention to, so I ask you to read my review with a certain lightheartedness and spontaneity. From the outside, La Banchina focuses heavily on the view overlooking the harbor, which is especially appreciated during the warmer seasons. So, if you want to enjoy the view, I recommend requesting a table under the outdoor roof, where possible. Inside, you'll find a place that exudes its years of activity: almost thirty years of charm, lived-in, warm, well-maintained yet at the same time neglected in small details. However, I really appreciated the use of courtesy towels in the restrooms, which certainly contribute to a lower environmental impact. The menu offers a variety of dishes and drinks to choose from: the raw seafood was certainly fresh and high-quality, but in my opinion, the plating of many dishes and the flavors of others were very classic and unoriginal. I had the opportunity to try their lemon sorbet and tiramisu, which was among the desserts available, but the latter had a strong eggy flavor, and I stopped after the first taste. I'll continue by saying that I was very disappointed to notice, beyond his undeniable experience, that one of the waiters was quite prone to engaging in informal conversation and not paying full attention, probably due to the large number of customers. Furthermore, I didn't have much space available, neither on the table nor in the immediate area around it. My experience wasn't entirely negative or positive, which is why I'm rating it with 3 stars. 16/05/2026: After ordering and paying online for 12 bottles of wine with delivery to Milan provided by Compravini, I can only say that the service was a disaster. The carrier used by Compravini (GLS) was unable to provide me with accurate delivery details, and despite my several calls to Compravini requesting information (over a period of 7 days) and a response via WhatsApp, I was never able to receive a response regarding the delivery. Since it was a gift, I had to call the person I was shipping the goods to and was giving them as a gift, only to discover that the goods had arrived (after a week) with a BROKEN bottle of wine. Incredibly, the delivery was done with tape around the broken glass, even though the wine had come in the box! Compravini never wrote the sender's name on the two boxes (my name as the buyer or the company's name), making it difficult to determine who sent the goods. Not having a photo of the broken bottle (how would I have done if I didn't know the goods had arrived), I obviously won't receive any replacement or refund for the broken bottle of wine. Terrible service from Compravini! Since I'm abroad, I often buy my wine online (from other companies) and have it delivered to my home, and I've never had these problems! I won't buy from this company again.

25/01/2026: Ordered an aperitif for two gluten-free people, and received only 6 measly pieces: 2 rustici, 2 focaccias, and 2 croquettes. Price: €9, an unbelievable price! Not to mention the watered-down spritz! Absolutely not recommended.

04/05/2026: This restaurant in Trani's historic center was recommended to us by the host of our B&B. It's located just steps from the Cathedral in a quiet little square and a stone's throw from the seafront, a great spot to stop right after dinner. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the service impeccable; everyone was helpful right from the start, and the price was in line with the quality of the food and drinks. The mixed antipasto was highly recommended. We'll definitely return as soon as we return to Trani.

26/04/2026: We recently moved to Trani from the US, and navigating the language barrier can be tough—especially on a busy holiday like Liberation Day. Despite every table being packed, the staff at Cottura Media was incredibly accommodating. While the outdoor seating was full, they managed to find us a spot inside without hesitation. In a city like NYC, service under this kind of pressure might come with an attitude, but not here. The staff worked together like a seamless team. The owner realized we didn’t speak Italian and personally made sure a waiter who spoke English came over to help us translate the menu and place our order. The meal was fantastic. We started with the trio of fish tartare and the Calabrese, followed by a perfectly prepared seafood pasta and a filet of bream. Paired with a bottle of Prosecco, it was the perfect afternoon. I have so much respect for how hard this team works. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and the delicious food. We will definitely be back. I am sure I will be giving all 5 stars next time!

21/03/2026: Very welcoming pizzeria with friendly, fast staff! We received the wrong pizza, but that can happen to anyone, and they fixed it in no time! The pizza is delicious, and I hope to return for another treat! I recommend stopping by!

26/01/2026: Excellent pizza. I really appreciated the prosciutto wrapped separately, so as not to cook it, on a white pizza with prosciutto. Delivery was on time.

08/10/2025: Simple, nice atmosphere, but a bit sterile. Service was average, but for a weeknight, a bit distracted, considering there were four of us dining in the entire restaurant. The food, unfortunately, fell far short of expectations; I'd say it was completely inadequate, both in quantity and quality. The tuna was truly awful; as you can see from the photo, it looked more like seared tuna than a piece of pork thrown on a plate for the modest sum of €25... I'd say there's a lot to consider!

29/07/2025: What a wonderful place! We had a fantastic meal; the risotto was sublime. Our starter, recommended by the waitress, was fantastic: tomato with red prawns. Delicious! The wines by the glass paired beautifully, and the advice was excellent. Delicious dishes, carefully prepared and served. Highly recommended!

18/10/2025: This restaurant serves pizza, focaccia barese, chips, panzerotti, and fried calzones—for takeout or with about fifteen seats inside. There are no restrooms. Long lines form in the evenings due to high demand.

06/10/2025: The hotel restaurant also offers a workers' menu for lunch. Always fast service, reasonable prices, and friendly, helpful staff. An excellent option for a delicious meal without waiting.

17/05/2026: Not exactly a positive experience. I'll be honest, I don't like places without service, but given the afternoon time, I adapted. What can I say? If you want a sandwich, that's fine, but if you also include a trio of tartare on the menu and put mayonnaise on my tuna, then no. The tables were dirty everywhere (of course, with only one person serving), and I waited over 50 minutes for octopus, which was first brought to me in a sandwich, even though I had ordered the dish (as per the receipt). Another wait, of course, but it was burnt (inedible). I asked for a refund (also because it was a certain time and I had to pay in advance... another wait for the manager to arrive, who was sitting with friends at the table right next to me while I was at the table. They refunded me, end of the inconvenience. If you want a sandwich, okay?

10/08/2025: We had the pleasure of lunch at this grill restaurant located in Trani, just steps from the sea. Here you can enjoy top-quality meat and pasta dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and available to accommodate your every request. The wine pairs excellently with the Golden Age Angus, a must-have if you decide to dine here. The atmosphere is very refined. Pets are welcome and can stay with you at the table. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
