Wide choice of croissants for all tastes, from classic to the most greedy, from flaky brioche to those with extravagant shapes, to those with fruity notes like the one I tasted: croissant with carrot dough and orange jam. Not to mention the creamy and tasty espresso, as few can do. Congratulations to the owner!

05/05/2025: I want to share my experience in this place with all the people who have the desire to eat good, fresh and genuine food. We were passing through Trani, we thought we'd go to the Porto area for lunch, then continue on the NS. voyage. Obviously the choice of menu is subjective, we ate orecchiette with tomato, basil and burrata, a delight! As a second course we ate fresh prawns in olive oil, of our own production. This dish was a true poem of flavors!! Eating well in the port areas is not a given, at the Antiche Arcate pizza restaurant it is a given that you eat well. When the food is genuine and the products used to process it are healthy, you can get back on the road and not have any problems, just like what happened to us. 03/05/2025: Very poor service, reviewing would be an understatement. Pizzas arrived while the appetizers were still being served, the bill was not requested and it arrived before we had even finished dinner. We were practically kicked out.

17/05/2025: A pizzeria that doesn't have its pizza oven on on a Saturday. Most of the menu was pizza. However, the owner and waiter are very friendly. I think they need to look into that sort of thing because the restaurant was empty.

04/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale. I primi piatti spettacolari soprattutto le orecchiette alla crudaiola, fatte con pomodorini freschi. Fritto di pesce a regola d'arte. Personale cordiale e accogliente. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

19/04/2025: The beers are good therefore the star. We were told all tables were reserved & within 10 minutes they'll be full(20.15) & we had to sit outside. When we left at 21.15 not all tables were occupied. It's easy just put a reserved sign on tables & state time. We said were happy to move. What's point sitting outside in dingy backstreet??? The staff could speak English when we arrived, when we made our suggestion they couldn't! Asked to speak to manager couldn't apparently understand. Oh the toilet doors ....1960s rubbish Useless 😞

19/04/2025: Looking forward to visiting here for a few days. We arranged to stay local so we could walk here and enjoy the beers. We turned up at the advertised opening time and was told we were 1 hour too early. On arrival 70 minutes later we were told we had to sit outside as the tables will be full in 10 minutes, there were only 15 people in the bar, and the tables were still available after 10 minutes, we did buy beers because we like the beers they had on offer. Great beer, but sitting outside with no company or the music of the bar was a waste of time and money. The bar could have made an extra €40 easily by being accommodating. When we left there were still seats available inside! What a disorganized establishment! What a shame.

27/11/2024: Un panificio he vale la pena visitare e comprare prodotti locali. La focaccia una delizia per il palato. Olio d'oliva comprato sotto loro consiglio ,ottimo e ben strutturato da sapori eccellenti delle olive di Trani. Pane buonissimo. I taralli poi una meraviglia. Complimenti

03/11/2024: Nel nostro breve soggiorno nella splendida Trani, questo panificio è stato la nostra salvezza a pranzo. Il locale è situato nel porto di Trani e serve prodotti di altissima qualità. Le focacce sono ottime, i taralli di loro produzione sono superlativi, così come farcire un panino con i loro prodotti pugliesi. Menzione speciale va al personale gentilissimo, accogliente e simpatico. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Per quanto mi riguarda, senz'altro punto di riferimento per chiunque si trovi a Trani

07/05/2025: Beautiful restaurant on one of my favorite streets in Rome, Via Giulia, which offers revisited Roman cuisine. The refined but welcoming atmosphere, attentive service and excellent selection of wines recommended by the director Manuel, super helpful! My favorite dish: agnolotti stuffed with veal, highly recommended 😉 I really appreciated finding a basket with sanitary towels in the bathroom, attention not obvious!! I will definitely be back 😍

06/05/2025: The atmosphere is elegant but welcoming, perfect for both a special dinner and a drink with friends. The cuisine is creative, with dishes that enhance traditional flavors in a modern way, while the cocktail bar offers original and perfectly balanced mixes. The staff is professional, smiling and always attentive. You can see that every detail is taken care of with passion. Highly recommended!

21/04/2025: There were 4 of us today, we ordered a trio of seafood as a starter, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp, but we couldn't feel the flavor at all, covered in a very salty cream sauce, we mentioned it to both the service and the owner but they didn't even apologise, the frying was nothing special and the grilled octopus was just as good, I don't think we'll be back.

19/09/2024: In summer "il Vecchio e il Mare" becomes the final location in Trani where you can end the evening or even more so where you can experience the beginning of the disco night. That it isn't a dance floor can be seen from afar. So the music floats, but no one dances. The location would be beautiful if it were instead dedicated to intimate or business dinners, as the layout of the tables, tables and stools is well thought out. How soft and trendy is the lighting of the place. In reality there is already a restaurant just a stone's throw away, of the same name and expensive. This then becomes the place for young people, for those who always follow the trend of the moment, a place where they can meet, "pose", where they can "be there just to appear", where they wait to enter even for two hours (sic!) standing, on the initial part of the eastern pier of the port. To then sit at the first free tables. Nothing to complain about the place, with the sea on the side crashing on the cliff and it's all an excellent view. But it is the intended use that is perhaps not appropriate. All personal opinion

31/03/2025: I placed an order and the pizza arrived completely unmade and stuck to the cardboard as if it had fallen to the ground... French fries were hard and really inedible. I had asked assistance for a refund as I couldn't have dinner but they refused compliments..
