24/09/2025: We took the pasta course with Greta and then ate on the beautiful terrace above the rooftops of Matino. An unforgettable experience. They serve excellent home-grown dishes, prepared with love. Highly recommended! A business couldn't be more family-friendly; everyone from the grandmother to the children works here. 22/09/2025: We spent a week in the heart of Salento, where tradition, family, and nature blend perfectly. The inn is managed and maintained by the entire family, where the new generations continue local traditions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. The terrace restaurant is truly magical. The traditional dishes are special, with an authentic flavor. The inn also offers orecchiette pasta and cheese-making classes and workshops. In the basement, there's a hot tub converted from an old water cistern. A place that stays in your heart... that gives you a moment of life that will remain forever etched in your memory. 10/10/2025: A truly wonderful place. Tender, well-cooked meat. Excellent variety on the menu. I had a flank steak that was exquisite. Very reasonably priced. One of the best I've had in Italy so far. The atmosphere inside is very nice. I highly recommend the experience; it's hard to regret it.

22/10/2025: High-quality (and quantity) rotisserie. The panzerotto (or calzone, if you prefer) is delicious, fried well, as are the frittini and fries. Must try!

14/10/2025: We had a lovely, fun evening. The hot panzerotti and mini cold pucce combo was very nice. You're spoiled for choice. The panzerotti dough is soft and fantastic, Bari-style (because in Brindisi, fried food is crispier), and since they're small, you'd eat them over and over again. Personally, I would have used less mayonnaise only in the cold pucce. If you agree with me, let the service staff know in advance, as they're attentive and excellent. The dinner couldn't have ended better: the artisanal gelato they make... fantastic, as are the almond paste pastries and the soft almond brittle... unique things you'll find here... unfortunately, caught up in the company and my hunger, I forgot to take photos of the panzerotti and pucce; I only took pictures of the gelato and the pastries... a good excuse to come back ;-)

12/10/2025: I visited the hotel during a medical event. I was immediately struck by the fact that I wasn't in Bari, but in a very welcoming environment with attention to detail, something I've only found in Milan, Rome, and Florence! Fantastic...I highly recommend it!

09/10/2025: The hotel is near the train station and the bus terminal. It is in a quiet area, and easy to find. The check-in was quick and easy. However, there are some negative aspects. The room could use some slippers. We only received a small coffee bag, although we were accommodated for two people. There was a water leak in the bathroom that made noise in the room. Then, the breakfast was very poor, the place was full and noisy. It can definitely be improved, as can the rest of the aspects.

19/10/2025: I rarely give reviews, but this restaurant deserves 5 stars! Aside from the very friendly service, the truffle appetizer was incredibly delicious. I ordered meat – in almost every restaurant, I get it cooked medium-rare, but here it was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the great food and best wishes!!!

12/10/2025: At Conte Cavour we had pizza; it had been recommended, but unfortunately, we found it quite tough. Personally, I had trouble cutting and chewing it. Nothing inedible; we definitely would have preferred a softer crust. In any case, the place is very beautiful and welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We'll probably return and try their specialties.

27/05/2025: By now a guarantee, our trusted place to eat excellent meat! The tartare is something exceptional, as are the bombette with salami and philadelphia and the Angus strips... our fixed dishes that cannot be missed. In addition, the last time we also tasted some Simmental bites cooked at low temperature with a particular beer, really delicious; and also the Wagyu that melted in the mouth. To finish in style, they make delicious desserts such as the tile, the tiramisu or the cheesecake... what can I say, even though I am full at the end of the dinner I cannot give up their desserts. They also offered us some really good biscuits (cantucci). Kind, helpful and thoughtful staff I absolutely recommend :)
