07/12/2025: Very nice, warm, and welcoming restaurant. There were five of us, and we all ate pizza. It was very good, with very thin crust and excellent toppings. We then had traditional apple and cinnamon strudel, a huge piece, truly delicious, and then the tiramisu, also delicious! Highly recommended ☺️

03/10/2025: We arrived without a reservation, and they found us a table and served us promptly. Very friendly and fast. The view of the valley is beautiful, as the restaurant is located at the edge of the forest, higher up than everything else. The food was good; we had a venison carpaccio appetizer and grilled vegetables (my partner), followed by a Swiss pine risotto and a potato soup. I'd say it was all very good and the price was average.

08/11/2025: Incredibly friendly people. It was a spontaneous stop; I initially thought it was closed. But since an older gentleman went in before me, I didn't turn around but went in. The terrace is really nicely decorated. In the morning, I'd even say it was sunny ☀️. I only had a drink, so I don't know what the food is like.

Everything was simply perfect: Room, half board, service, outdoor area with heated pool, wellness area, location and surroundings, view, friendliness and competence of the entire team 👍🤗 The attached restaurant/pizzeria offers additional variety. The owner, Werner, offered us and the other guests a unique and extremely entertaining wine tasting 👏 All in all, "SUPER!" We'd love to go back Maria and Holger with 🐕

04/09/2025: We spent 7 wonderful days at the Plattenhof. The rooms, gardens with pool, staff and host family, and food were all fantastic. Plattenhof, we'll be back. Angelo & Rita 👍

12/02/2026: For my lunch break at the office, I ordered some vegetables. They arrived very quickly, hot and delicious, accompanied by some slices of their warm, fragrant homemade bread. A very positive experience. I'll try eating there soon.

12/01/2026: Terrible. It's happened more than once that I've ordered pizza and it doesn't arrive on time, and sometimes the order doesn't ship, and if it arrives, it's cold. I don't recommend it. They used to deliver pizza very punctually, and it even arrived hot. It's a shame because the pizza is good, but the service is terrible.

21/10/2025: We visited the restaurant for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled! We therefore absolutely cannot understand some of the negative reviews – the service and food were truly excellent!

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was cozy, but unfortunately not clean; the tiles on the wall were dirty. Unappealing. Service was abysmal. Slow, food arrived at different times. Inattentive, drinks were empty by the time the food arrived, and no one asked if we wanted another. We had a table overlooking the room with a bar, where someone who seemed to be acquainted with the staff was sitting. Chatting here seems to be more important than the well-being of the guests. Wiener schnitzel is offered on the menu; they served a pork schnitzel for €19.50. The side dish of fried potatoes was burnt and swimming in oil. The menu listed the snack platter as including a bread basket, but the bread basket was charged an additional €3. After complaining about the Wiener schnitzel, we were offered a coffee or schnapps on the house. Bottom line: not worth a visit; the value for money isn't right here.

23/02/2026: A very nice hotel, right in the heart of Sexten. The room was comfortably furnished. The balcony offered a direct view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the main street. The food in the restaurant was a small selection, but delicious. We felt very comfortable.
