Fast, friendly service and the food is simply delicious.
Small but excellent selection with fair prices.
Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back!
27/04/2026: The best restaurant-pizzeria in the Merano area. Easy to get to, it has a private parking lot with about 10-12 spaces, but there are plenty of parking spaces nearby, always available. The restaurant selection is also excellent, although the tables are a bit pricey.
The desserts are also excellent!
The staff are always very kind and helpful.
The atmosphere is super welcoming, suitable for everyone and easily accessible, even for those with disabilities.

22/03/2026: We were passing through and spontaneously ended up at Pizzeria Sandheim. Although we hadn't made a reservation, we received a very friendly welcome and were seated immediately.
The absolute highlight: The huge selection of pizzas is completely gluten-free! It tasted fantastic.
07/03/2026: Very efficient and friendly service. We went twice during our stay and left satisfied both times. Very good pizza and delicious coffee.

10/05/2026: We arrived at the time of our reservation but had to wait on the balcony for someone to be available. They sat us in a draughty spot. When I asked to be seated at the next table, I was rudely told no because it was reserved (there was no evidence of this). Long waits for dumplings with improbable sslsin and sauerkraut that was actually sliced cabbage. When I return to Caldaro, I will never set foot there again.
07/05/2026: The pizzas at Rottenburgerkeller are delicious, and in addition to the standard classics, they also offer some creative options. The service was very friendly and attentive, and our dogs were welcome! We sat inside in the back and enjoyed complete peace and quiet with our dogs.

20/04/2026: If you're in the area, you absolutely must go there! The house names aren't random, and the view from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking – especially at sunset! A small hill leads up next to the restaurant, offering a phenomenal view of all of Olang (every part of it). The food matched the view perfectly; everything tasted delicious, homemade, and cooked with love. The drinks selection was also excellent, and the service was professional and prompt. Definitely don't miss it!

09/05/2026: Badl im Mitterhofer – the "Schlechte Sepp" – is a true hidden gem in Merano and definitely worth a visit. It's a beautiful beer garden with a truly cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying yourself.
The food was outstanding – delicious home-style cooking, as well as fantastic seasonal dishes featuring fish, asparagus, and other fresh specialties. Everything was incredibly flavorful and prepared with great care. It's exactly the kind of cuisine where you can tell that quality and enjoyment are paramount.
Add to that the very pleasant service and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. Anyone visiting Merano should absolutely make it here!

22/04/2026: A truly lovely restaurant, charmingly decorated in a rustic, country style. The service is courteous and attentive, the food is delicious and offers several local specialties in addition to the usual fare. For this reason, we always enjoy coming here. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the wait for our food was perfectly acceptable. Definitely a highly recommended place in La Villa/Stern.
