15/06/2025: Easily accessible place, beautiful and with various services. We used the pool as outsiders and it was actually a very pleasant different afternoon (from the sea). Too bad for the unspeakable quantity of horseflies (or similar), concentrated practically only in the panoramic pool... which actually also made the situation comical (with the guests wriggling in chaotic dances, while the staff lived with it peacefully). We had lunch at the Niagara pool bar, quiet service and good value for money.

11/06/2025: Amazing place, high quality hotel with 2 pools, 1 restaurant, 2 poor bars and lots of loungers with 1 assigned to each room. We found it very relaxing and great for families. Not very lively for young couples if you were looking for that. Location requires a hire car if travelling. The closest medieval town is Volterra which is stunning for about a 30 minute drive. Other towns are Sienna and San Gimignano all beautiful. Driving up to the accommodation is quite narrow and some paths are poorly maintained, so no Ferrari's please.

08/06/2025: I am living for three months in Pisa, because im doing a fellowship, and trattoria da Michele is the best place till now. It is not very expensive, it has delicious and clean food and polite staff! 10/10!!

04/07/2025: Unforgettable evening... On the menu I read turbot with black butter, I order it and to my surprise they tell me it's only for 2 people. I involve my partner and we order turbot for two, but they tell me it's sold out. In the meantime they serve me the wine but it's not the one I chose, I point it out and the waiter, after having uncorked it, tries to convince me that it's practically identical to the one I chose. I let it go. I order a grilled sea bass, they show it to me already cooked and go back to the kitchen to debone it, but the operation fails and in addition to the ten bones removed from my mouth and placed on the plate, one ends up in my throat and gets stuck in my trachea. The only one to give me "help" is a young waiter who brings me some bread to try to swallow it. I ask for the bill and when it's time to pay, no one asks me how the dinner went, I pay what I owe and leave.

15/06/2025: I don't understand the positive reviews. The restaurant is more reminiscent of a delivery service. The interior is made up of only plastic furniture. The service seems unfriendly. There's no wine list. The food isn't bad, but it's not outstanding either.

02/04/2025: A bit spartan pizzeria but the pizza is very good. You don't find many dishes but the cecina is really very good and the pizza is thin, just how I like it. Nice owner. The price is really honest. A bit of a wait to be served.

29/03/2025: Una pizza ottima in un locale semplice e senza pretese. Infatti Vasco è una garanzia da ben 30 anni e se si parla di pizza, focacce e ripiene è indubbiamente uno dei migliori sulla piazza! Si può scegliere di pranzare o cenare in pizzeria oppure l'asporto. Oppure festeggiare un compleanno o mangiare un pezzo al volo per merenda.

10/06/2025: We went for pizza, the waitress didn't explain to us that she would bring double pizzas. Each person ordered a pizza for themselves but we ended up with double pizzas (i.e. x2 people) brought to the single person with an exorbitant bill, I go in and ask the manager for explanations, a person who is not at all patient and understanding who justifies himself by saying that the waitresses are not experts, I tell him that it is not the customer's problem that the waitresses are not experts, during the short debate the manager leaves me there without finishing the conversation and goes away without finding a solution and without finishing the conversation, not very polite and not very professional. Nice place, good food but service and staff in my opinion to be improved.

28/05/2025: The seafood pizza simply tastes like tomato sauce with spices. The mussels were whole, half of them still closed, so they were inedible. The Italian guests at the next table were given a special plate for the shells. I had to throw them in the bread basket. Pizza Speciale with potatoes, a bit of minced meat, and tomatoes. Potatoes on a pizza???? Any Italian would turn in their grave. Absolutely the worst pizza in Bella Italia

21/06/2025: Nice place, in the central square, but the pizza... at 9:00 pm they weren't sure they could do fried food, because they were turning off and getting ahead with the cleaning, so I opted for pizza... Let's forget it, no offense, it seemed like a frozen pizza, with added ingredients... As for the other dishes, I can't say anything, because after that course we ran away, we didn't even have coffee and dessert, since they were in a hurry to clean... I recommend going to dinner first, at least you'll be safe and find everything.
