09/08/2026: The only positive note: generous portions. The quality is mediocre, in line with the prices, with a few lapses in cooking the meat. The starters are decent for the huge portions and good prices. Service is incredibly slow, but the main problem is the filthiness. Fish bones on the tablecloth, the decor is unspeakable, and everywhere is dirty. Having only been there once when the place was practically empty, it could be better at other times or with more tables, but the filthiness is unforgivable.

03/06/2026: A tip led us to this restaurant. The dishes were all very well seasoned. The scampi and prawns were grilled to perfection. Excellent bread was provided, which I suspect was homemade. The bruschetta and desserts were very good. All in all, very good value for money. My only criticism is that the red ambiance doesn't quite do the food justice.

05/05/2026: We often go to Barbarossa for pizza, and it's special, just the way we like it... But the first courses/fried food are no less delicious... We want to mention that during the truffle season they make fabulous cod flans 😋... Excellent value for money!

25/07/2026: We had very delicious pizza and cecina. We got there around 2:30 pm and they still served us, even though they supposedly closed at 3 pm. They were very friendly. You can pay by card.

02/08/2026: A well-kept and welcoming place, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. The dishes were truly excellent. A special mention goes to the pistachio candies, incredibly delicious. They're a must-try. The mussels were also excellent, fresh from the morning and perfectly cleaned. Very fair prices for the quality offered. We'll definitely be back if we're in the Pisa area. Highly recommended!

06/07/2026: The pizza is quite unique... greasy and thin... completely different from what they serve in fancy pizzerias, but eating it made me feel like I was transported back in time to mid-20th-century Italy, and that this was the kind of pizza Italian workers ate. 😉 The owners were incredibly nice, and the place had a great homey atmosphere.

17/07/2026: If you're celiac or simply gluten intolerant, you know how hard it is to find a gluten-free pizza that doesn't look like cardboard or cost an arm and a leg. Well, this place is a rarity! ​The pizza is truly delicious: the dough is rolled out thinly (which you may or may not like), light, and with a pleasantly crispy crust that makes you forget about a traditional pizza. But the real highlight is the taste: the toppings are top-quality, fresh, and decidedly flavorful. Not your typical bland pizza; here, every bite has character. ​An absolute bonus for your wallet: the prices are decidedly reasonable and fair, without that annoying (and often exaggerated) surcharge that many places add just because it says "gluten-free" on the menu. ​Quick service, and the staff are very attentive to cross-contamination. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

01/06/2026: Terrible service!!!!!! 98 euros for a Florentine steak, we had a little less than half left, so we asked to take it away. Once at the checkout, we were told, "We're sorry, it was thrown away. If it had been for a dog, we would have taken it from the bin, but we don't think so." What a waste.....congratulations.

22/06/2026: A wonderful place to get away. Beautiful scenery. Restaurant is great along with its view and even the pool bar at the main pool is fantastic. The food was just as good or better than any restaurant. They even had a tv set up pool side for us to watch the World Cup games. The suites were perfect as we bought groceries at the beautiful nearby town Riparbella and utilized the full size kitchen for most of our late evening dinners.

05/06/2026: The resort is fantastic and very clean. It's in a beautiful location. The pool is wonderful, and the pool bar has the best staff with delicious cornetto and cappuccino. We'd love to come back!
