02/04/2025: Sono stato a cena con la mia famiglia eravamo otto siamo stati accolti con un calice di benvenuto abbiamo ordinato taglieri misti per tutti e a seguire ci siamo affidati a un giro di pizze variegate. Prodotti di qualità ottima la scelta di birre artigianali anche i dolci fatti in casa sono stati molto apprezzati. Locale da consigliare e da ritornarci sicuramente

09/05/2025: I still don't know how you can treat customers badly who pay well and behave politely. in my opinion it means having little respect for one's work and for others. it would be funny if they complain about not having customers. in fact there was almost no one there. the person who served us looked like he was dressed in a tavern. we asked him one thing and if we asked him one more question he would turn away annoyed. indigestible pizza. it's all quite shameful. I wouldn't go back even if they cut the price in half.

19/05/2025: I don't understand the positive reviews. I wanted to try a real Italian pizza in a restaurant not frequented by tourists and was very disappointed. The pizza was made with potatoes, ham, and porcini mushrooms. The pizza base was thin but hard, the potato slices were still undercooked, and the few porcini mushroom pieces were clearly from ancient specimens (deep green sponges). The taste was not very good. The wine glass was also a bit dirty, and the house wine was also only so-so. Given the reasonable price (€11 for the pizza), you can't complain, but I would have preferred to pay more for quality.

09/05/2025: A typical place, excellent cuisine, you feel at home... Accurate hospitality and service... A place to absolutely recommend in Volterra, with a terrace. Excellent prices.

02/04/2025: A bit spartan pizzeria but the pizza is very good. You don't find many dishes but the cecina is really very good and the pizza is thin, just how I like it. Nice owner. The price is really honest. A bit of a wait to be served.

29/03/2025: Una pizza ottima in un locale semplice e senza pretese. Infatti Vasco è una garanzia da ben 30 anni e se si parla di pizza, focacce e ripiene è indubbiamente uno dei migliori sulla piazza! Si può scegliere di pranzare o cenare in pizzeria oppure l'asporto. Oppure festeggiare un compleanno o mangiare un pezzo al volo per merenda.

13/04/2025: Decent bar, normal coffee doesn't give a wow effect, and above all not worthy of the name it bears. Without infamy and without praise.

10/05/2025: Last night I ate a piece of Cecina with friends which was fabulous to say the least and the "pistachio" pizza with the addition of cherry tomatoes and I must say it was very good. The only flaw that doesn't make me give 5 stars to the food is that despite being very small, there were very few of them and the taste lacked that something that made me say wow...but ultimately a great pizza. The only thing that makes me give 3 stars instead of 5, and therefore reduce the rating by 2, is the bathroom. Still having the Turk in 2025 (I don't know if it was only men or also women) but it's something I never imagined I'd find. Plus in what state! It's a shame because ultimately the service and atmosphere are very relaxed and therefore ideal for talking to friends and having a laugh. Pizzeria that I would recommend for the food, especially the cecina Daniel

12/05/2025: They told me about this pizzeria as the "non plus ultra" in the area. One of the best gourmet pizzerias in Lucca and Pisa. I arrive on a Saturday evening after having booked for 5 and find a reservation for 3. Somehow the owner seats us. We order 4 pizzas and an Arabic bread. The Arabic bread arrives twenty minutes after the pizzas "because Arabic bread has a different type of cooking". Good products in line with other pizzerias of the same standard, prices above average. Ordinary draft beers. Digestion wasn't the smoothest during the night.
