12/05/2026: Excellent food and top-notch service
We went for lunch, and there were a large table of 17 of us. We ate very well, and even the kids had fun because they were allowed to play soccer in the adjacent field.
The relationship the owners have with their customers is spectacular.
At Francesco's, it's like feeling at home.
Thank you, Francesco, Gloria, and all the staff.
5 well-deserved stars!
10/05/2026: Good quality restaurant. Excellent service. Prices are a bit high. The spaghetti with clams and the seafood appetizer are definitely worth it.

02/05/2026: Surprised at the low rating. Was supposed to go to Kiste’s and was very happy we stumbled upon this place instead. The staff was friendly, food was quick, and the owner (I believe) even offered to let us sit down while we waited. Also english friendly, especially since my italian is not so great.
I will say the food was okay; it could be fresher and likely a bit bigger BUT the pricing makes sense for the size so I’m not holding it against them too much.
I will say, I’d 100% pick this restaurant again over Kiste’s, as the staff there was incredibly rude and beyond disrespectful to yell at customers for not choosing to eat at their restaurant. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were review bombing Pisa Caffe either.

We couldn't finish without the legendary cream sundae, and tonight with the strawberries.

27/03/2026: Very good pizza. We went on a Saturday and they have shifts, so the only downside is that everything is a bit rushed.

08/04/2026: A complicated review because it's a combination of conflicting opinions on several aspects. The cramped, overly odorous atmosphere contrasts with the appreciable care, attention, and helpfulness of the staff.
The restaurant's truly excellent cuisine is matched by one of the worst pizzas I've ever had (the dough, cooking, and even the ingredients were decidedly inadequate). The price is good.
02/04/2026: Excellent dinner
The charcuterie and cheese platter was delicious, not to mention the delicious tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and sea bream as a starter, the freshest fried squid, and finally, the delicious, homemade, warm chocolate heart.
We thank Alba and Maurizio for their warm welcome, making us feel as if we were dining at a friend's house.
The prices are also reasonable, and it's a place we'll gladly return to.

11/04/2026: A unique and sunny place where authenticity begins in the kitchen. Juri is a cheerful, kind, accommodating, professional, and very approachable person! Chef Naym is a true master of the dishes, with a smile and so much love for what he does. You can taste it while you eat; it's poetry for the palate! Thanks also to the Sous Chef who helps with the composition and plating. Thank you so much! I found it by chance and I'm so glad I came here!!

03/05/2026: Six stars for the kindness of Grandma and Daughter, for the atmosphere, and also for the traditional/authentic food.
We, two Finns, spent a week in Ponsacco cycling through the Tuscan hills (which were also beautiful...). We wanted to eat simple, typical dishes of the area, food like home-made. Da Chiara was the perfect place to do it! We haven't found another place like it. The pasta was really good... We wanted to bring Grandma with us to Finlandia, but we weren't able to. 😉

29/04/2026: Ended up here by chance during a rush visit to the optician. It feels like you're allowed to pull up a chair in their living room! Friendly, cozy, and above all: the best pizza of the entire Tuscany holiday! We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

20/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we decided to stop for a quick dinner. The place was cozy, the pizza was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
12/08/2025: I recommend changing the air conditioning. With these abnormal temperatures, a place that's in the sun all day, with glass walls... small... I highly recommend it. A few more precautions. Also, it's a bit expensive. We're in Pontedera on the main street, not Viareggio!!!!

I was impressed by the variety of croissants and brioches. They also have savory options.
The pastries are generously sized and very tasty!
The service was friendly and quick.
The only small drawback is that the place isn't very visible from the street. If you don't know it, you might not notice it.

05/05/2026: I have known this place for many years, it was recently renovated, and it is very beautiful and elegant, unfortunately, however, last night I was very disappointed.... The waiters did not consider us, after the menu they did not come to take the order, in short everything very chaotic, and unfortunately the pizza is no longer the same, in fact I had to take something for the stomach ache!

The food was average.
We had the tagliata with arugula and parmesan, with a side of fries and a dessert.
