08/08/2026: Lovely place. We were greeted at the door, brought to our table and our orders were taken very smoothly. Food came out very quickly and, while a touch salty, was delicious for a lunch meal in the shade. The location is also great- only a couple minutes from the Tower of Pisa.

04/08/2026: There were four of us and they made room for us on the terrace, even though it was full. Very friendly, good service. The pizzas and calzones are average. It was August and it was very hot inside. Very good price.

17/07/2026: The place isn't very clean; they don't change the tablecloths, just the paper tablecloths. The owner and the waiters serve tables dripping with sweat, wearing sweat-soaked shirts and the owner's shirt. The pizza looks like a burnt cardboard disc, even with a little topping, and isn't leavened. We ordered a lemon sorbet, which arrived melted and hot, and a vin santo that had nothing holy about it, nor even wine! Never again!!!

24/02/2026: Excellent for a quiet lunch break in a simple and comfortable atmosphere, staffed by professional, genuine, and welcoming staff. There's a genuine sense of human kindness that brings peace of mind. Delicious focaccias and very fair prices!

25/01/2026: Excellent pizzeria, small but well-run. Excellent ingredients and pizzas are made with thin, but not toasty, crust. Service is in line with the price.

08/08/2026: We were a bit torn in between. The food, for instance, the cheese plate was really good and the meat and meals were delicious (and the Primi meals quite big). On the other hand, the salade was only okay and we were disappointed by the Service. It felt stressed and rushed, things came too late and we often felt misunderstood or sold on. Maybe It was due to the language barrier, but that really decreased our experience. Also, the music did not really fit the nice atmosphere on the terrasse. Therefore, overall food was mostly good but service could be improved on many ends.

26/05/2026: A pizza place that offers both pizza with gluten or gluten free. Not only that, but one can find also gluten-free focaccia and also gluten-free beer. We ordered gluten and gluten-free pizzas. They were sublime. I strongly recommend for gluten-free options.

14/07/2026: Trattoria da Michele was a wonderful discovery during my visit to Pisa. Arriving late from out of town, we were relieved to find this welcoming spot open for lunch near the Pisa Centrale station. The service was excellent, and the lasagna was absolutely delicious. Its location is incredibly convenient for travelers, just a short walk from the train station and equally close to the Leaning Tower. While I may not be returning to Pisa anytime soon, I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

28/06/2026: Six of us went for dinner, and it was truly a huge disappointment. We waited about an hour and a half from ordering to the arrival of our dishes. The curly-haired waitress, very kind and professional, no longer knew how to handle the situation: it was clear that the problem wasn't her fault, but the kitchen's. They probably accepted more reservations than they could handle. Since I work in the restaurant industry myself, I recommend avoiding overbooking, so as not to create long and difficult-to-manage waits. The rest of the staff appeared poorly trained and disorganized, clearly lacking in basic skills. Furthermore, the uniforms were all very dirty and poorly maintained; the first person to have a uniform in poor condition was the owner. She didn't apologize, didn't say goodbye to us as we left, and did nothing to resolve the situation. I'd also add that one of the waitresses was unpleasant at the table, repeatedly addressing us while clearly chewing gum, so much so that we lost our appetite. Although, despite the long wait, both the pizza and the dishes were, to be honest, good until the end, and we ate everything. I'll reiterate, however, that the curly-haired waitress who served us was truly the only positive note: she apologized repeatedly and tried to make up for it as best she could, demonstrating great professionalism, certainly superior to that of the owner.

27/05/2026: I'm sorry, I didn't want to write this review. I'm a working man, and I understand that mistakes happen, but when it comes to health, you can never check enough. Nice restaurant, good food, but we found a steel hair from the brush they use to clean the grills in the fillet (restaurant explanation). Now, it's possible that a steel hair came off, but if it was still on the grill, it means they didn't even wipe it down with a sponge afterwards... Normally, after brushing, you wash it... So it's not a disaster, but negligence. This can happen too. But the restaurant's apology shouldn't have been limited to words alone. In a situation like this, where my wife even stung her palate, if the restaurant had been mine, I would have at least offered dinner with ash on my head. Instead, at the cashier I hear: "Of course I didn't charge you for the fillet... Of course not!" Did you think that if I were a person like so many others, I would have taken photos and quietly called the NAS (National Anti-Corruption Agency)? But did you consider that that object could lodge anywhere in the digestive tract if swallowed? A little more diligence wouldn't hurt your work. Good luck.
