08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here.
This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well.
I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types!
Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced.
Highly recommended.

Prices are more than fair, and although they unfortunately only have limited seating because they're mostly takeout, enjoying the pizza there was a truly special experience. We'll definitely be back! 02/12/2025: The place is small but cozy. The girl serving us is really nice and very good. We were a table of ten and everyone was very satisfied. When it came time to pay, we chatted with the owner, who was also very kind, and we complimented her on the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff.
A special feature I really liked was the heart-shaped sugar packets ❤️, really cute.
Good value for money.

The food is of exceptional quality, and the service is courteous and professional.
I go there whenever I can and bring friends, confident of making a good impression.
04/11/2025: Booked for lunch at Lucca Comics... in the total chaos, they held their ground well.
It's a shame they bring menus with missing dishes without telling you first... and when ordering, the owner (completely confused...) makes a mistake... bringing gluten-free dishes with gluten and vice versa.
If you're aiming for gluten-free, you can't go wrong.
It's a shame because I had high hopes for this place.
When the waitress (after confirming the wrong dish...) told me... well, only the seasoning is wrong... but it's gluten-free... I was shocked.
Tagliatelle with no personality...
It's a shame.
Next year... we'll try again.

01/01/2026: I ordered two very simple pizzas and a Coke. An hour late, I called twice and was told they had too many orders, with a haughty expression as if the delay didn't matter to them. They didn't refund us, nor an extra beer, Coke, or a little gift. They had the delivery driver apologize... INCOMPETENT.
13/11/2025: Gli Scunnizzi in Lucca serves authentic Neapolitan pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, with fresh ingredients. A true delight for pizza lovers.

30/09/2025: Quality can be seen but above all TASTED, we purchased the focaccia (and what an exquisite focaccia), the Schiacciata (superlative) and the Cunsato bread (with a super Master filling) for a corporate event. Our guests miraculously left their trays :). Both we and our guests will come and visit you very soon. Once again, COMPLIMENTS.
