As soon as we entered we were overwhelmed by a sea of ​​drawings which, even if it's a nice idea, the place was full of them. The food was quite good slightly slow to bring it to the table but with good quality. The service was friendly and efficient but a little insistent: as soon as we arrived and were seated the waiter walked around us, putting a bit of pressure on us. The bill was consistent. Thank you

If I have to find a flaw, the cutlet was a little too bready compared to the thin slice of meat. 09/03/2025: Lunch spent with friends, I had never been before, the view over the entire plain of Lucca was beautiful. Very good and plentiful food, very good homemade pasta, you can feel that it is fresh as soon as you put it in your mouth, delicious tortelli, fettuccine with buckwheat and truffle, (real truffle) not the sauces, very good pappardelle with wild boar (for wild boar ask if they have it because you can't find it on the menu) The grilled meat was excellent and the dessert was the apple puff pastry with super vanilla ice cream! Very good prices and excellent red house wine. If you want to go, call well in advance because it is difficult to find a place as it is very small inside, while in the summer I think it also has outdoor tables.

15/03/2025: We love coming here whenever we are around Benabbio. It'a small, family run restaurant with good regional food with some international staples. The sparkling white wine and gnocchi in a sweet cherry tomato sauce with a sprinkle of ricotta are something I still dream of and order repeatedly. This is not a fancy restaurant, rather a homey, straight forward place. The prices are affordable. The wait time is usually short. Unless it's a holiday or a day with a special menu (check their Facebook for upates), then I recommend booking a table in advance. The owners are wonderful people - very helpful and attentive. Giovanni's pizzas are one of a kind, with a crispy thin crust and you can watch him bake them in the oven. We especially recommend getting one with mascarpone as it balances all the textures beautifully. You can always ask Alessandra to help you pick a dish or if they have any specials, and you won't be dissapointed. There are also seasonal dishes based on fresh seafood or mushrooms depending on the time of year. Another must-try are their desserts and pasta fritta with cheese and prosciutto as an appetizer!

01/03/2025: El restaurante estaba lleno de lugareños, lo que siempre es una buena señal. El menú tenía algunas traducciones al inglés, por lo que era fácil elegir pappadelle con salsa de jabalí - muy sabroso. Seguido por tiramisú. El servicio era rápido y amable, pero no se apresuró. Recomendaría llegar temprano, para los estándares italianos, ya que se estaba rechazando a la gente cuando me fui a los 20 : 15 pm. Realmente disfruté de mi comida y volvería de nuevo, si estuviera en Lucca por más tiempo.

03/04/2025: Very good pizza by the slice I was in this pizzeria during a day in Viareggio. The place is not very large but has a nice terrace on the seafront promenade. There are many pizzas and stuffed focaccias sold by the slice. I took six pieces with various toppings. The best slice, in my opinion, was the one with spicy salami and mozzarella. All the pieces were nice and crunchy. The seafood dressing was the most original. I found the price, 10 euros for six nice slices of pizza, very honest considering the place. The long queue at the checkout is certainly a sign of quality. Recommended for a pizza by the sea
