19/05/2024: Unfortunately, the only real thing about Italian pizza is perhaps the dough. Very friendly service but poor food with poor quality ingredients.

24/04/2024: So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant. Had an absolutely delicious kebab plate with actual spices in it! The owner/chef was so friendly. I wish we were there on Friday night as they do indian food on Fridays! Give this place a try!

02/04/2024: Best pizza. Period. Restaurant has it and more. Beautiful decor, charming and cozy but easily fit our group of 6. There is also just the pizzeria (same place but pizza only) next door.

13/06/2024: Nice but doesn't dance! Strange experience. Very nice environment, well cared for and "furnished" with taste. You dine outdoors, but in a sheltered context. Kind and welcoming staff, very attentive to the needs of even the littlest ones. Unfortunately, disastrous on the food front: practically raw pizza, with a rubbery crust and a truly excessive amount of seasoning. Unfortunately not the Neapolitan pizza they promise on the sign at the entrance. The buffalo mozzarella caprese is embarrassing: tasteless tomatoes and very old, inedible mozzarella. Unfortunately not recommended: very nice, but in a restaurant you have to eat well, not admire the place!

20/05/2024: One of the beat meals I’ve had in my life. I ate in many places around the world but no *no* place compares to this one. Gabriele, the owner’s+chef of this fabulous restaurant, will accommodate you in the best way you can imagine. Be will make sure that you know every single detail about the dish(only if you wish of course) and he will do it with a huge smile on his face! Food-incredible Atmosphere- off the charts Service- best you can imagine Support the local businesses and go dine at Gabriele’s place, you will thank me. And for you Gabriel, if you read this, I’m waiting for the day I will come back to see your well-deserved Michllen star on the wall. All the best.

15/05/2024: An exceptional dining experience with charming ambiance and a hands-on owner who cares deeply about creating memorable meals. This was our third visit to Florence and B.O.r.G.O. in two years and we will continue to book a table here every time we return. Gabriele is passionate about serving high quality farm-to-table food at reasonable prices. My husband very much enjoyed his duck terrine and I savored every morsel of the “daily special” asparagus pasta dish. It was a pleasure to see Gabriele once again while appreciating the masterful recipes of this hidden gem!

Excellent cured meats, the minus star only because we asked for a rare Florentine steak and it arrived medium cooked, too bad the meat was excellent. We didn't feel like sending it back out of respect. Too bad it could have been perfect. It will be for the next one.

19/05/2024: Excellent tavern, we had been there a few years ago and returned for a food and wine weekend with friends and we confirm excellent seasonal products, super Florentine, pici all'aglione without the tomato in order to enhance the taste, wide choice of wines. Fair price.

07/06/2024: Small but very nice place. Super cuisine with dishes interpreted in a creative and successful way. The girl who waited tables should be taken as an example by those who do this job: very good and with an unprecedented courtesy. I was with my wife (vegan) who wanted to treat me to a dinner in a restaurant that offered seafood specialties. When she asked if by chance they could prepare something for her too, the girl was not upset in the slightest and had a tomato pasta prepared which my wife defined as one of the best she had ever eaten. I tasted it too and can confirm. If I could I would give 6 stars.

22/05/2024: Food was good. Unfortunately service is not the same. We were told that we had to wait a long time for dessert (tiramisu) because they had forgotten it. The tiramisu shouldn't cost anything, it was emphasized twice. In the end it was on the invoice, with a discount of 50 cents.

14/05/2024: We ate the menu of the day with first courses, second courses with side dishes and side dishes at a fixed price. Typical atmosphere, very fast service, very kind staff. Sorrento style gnocchi, pasta with courgettes and speck, mixed vegetables, chips and a bottle of water €22. We will return every time we are in Florence.
