14/08/2024: The life-sized Blues Brothers statues caught my attention and I stopped here for lunch. The strong fans kept the outdoor patio cool on a hot day. The margherita pinsa was delicious with the perfect amount of cheese. Marco served my table and was quick l and observant. I didn't have to wait for anything and he even gave me helpful suggestions about sites to visit in Palermo. Great experience!

09/08/2024: This restaurant has two strong points, the first is the quality of the food; caponata with spectacular chocolate, super first courses and then the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, young but very professional and friendly guys. I had already been there in October and I was very happy to return.

03/09/2024: Le pizze abbastanza buone, ma abbiamo mangiato scacciando continuamente le mosche, nonostante fossimo all'interno. Inoltre il personale allestiva una tavolata x 30 persone circondando il nostro tavolo, quindi abbiamo mangiato con una sensazione di disagio. Avrebbero dovuto farci spostare, ma non si sono minimamente preoccupati di noi. Penso che comunque la responsabilità sia del proprietario o di chi gestisce.

03/08/2024: I believe without a doubt that this restaurant is currently among the best places to enjoy excellent Sicilian cuisine. The pasta with sea urchins, the mussels & clams and/or mussels & tenerumi are truly excellent! Even the appetizers (mixed fried fish, courgette flowers, milk croquettes) are delicious as are the pizza and the second courses of both meat and fish. I personally love grilled squid! A round of applause also goes to the manager of the restaurant, the staff and the pizza chef for their professionalism and courtesy! A MUST TRY for anyone in Palermo!

17/08/2024: As soon as I arrived and we saw the menu I didn't know what to choose, in the end I had a carbonara. The starters were delicious, chips, arancini etc... When the carbonara arrived and I tasted it I felt like I was in space, I didn't like the environment very much but whatever.

15/08/2024: Premise: if you are the type who pays attention mainly to appearance and refined environments, this place is definitely not for you! The La Fenice pizza restaurant certainly does not shine in terms of aesthetics and is not easily identifiable on the road, as there is no sign (except a relic of it). Upon entry it will appear like one of those unfinished and neglected country houses, but once inside, the rooms, although spartan, still appear tidy and clean. Having said that, let's get to the substance where we instead found an unexpected and pleasant difference! Let's start with the staff: all the staff are welcoming, thoughtful, kind and professional, regardless of how many people are present in the room. In our case we had the opportunity to evaluate it in two circumstances, that is, an empty room during opening hours and a full room with customers waiting. In both cases the staff has always stood out in satisfying the needs of each customer as best as possible, therefore our sincere congratulations go to them! Let's get to the food: on both our visits we opted for the pizza which we really appreciated, as it was prepared with a good, well-leavened dough, topped with ingredients that weren't excellent but still of good quality and cooked excellently! Obviously we also had the opportunity to peek among the courses ordered by other diners and among all, those that seemed worthy of note (after hearing the positive opinions) were the meat-based second courses, excellently served on pleasant cast iron trays and wood, so you can enjoy them piping hot... definitely worth trying! To conclude, let's move on to the prices: really good in relation to the quality of the dishes and the service received. The restaurant also has a large and convenient parking area and obviously accepts payments via POS. From today when we return to Piana degli Albanesi (we often do) we can say that we have found another point of reference where we can enjoy something good and pleasantly served!

23/08/2024: Absolutely recommended! It's difficult to find a typical, non-touristy restaurant in Bologna - here it is. Excellent cuisine with homemade pasta, excellent quality food. The environment is nice and quiet, the service impeccable and friendly, very personal. We will undoubtedly return, in fact, we plan to make a weekend specially.
