01/07/2026: We came here for breakfast several times during our stay and enjoyed it every single time. It’s a great place with delicious European-style breakfasts. The waitresses were always polite, friendly, and attentive. The man behind the bar, who I believe is the owner, was also very welcoming and made us feel at home.
I would especially recommend trying the bruschettas—they were absolutely delicious and definitely worth ordering.
In the mornings, the waiting time was sometimes a bit longer than we would have liked, but the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast.

03/05/2026: Extremely long waits, and usually when I ask other pizzerias to make a Margherita pizza as quickly as possible for a child rather than wait as long as we adults do, they've never given me any problems. Here, the child had to eat at 10:45 PM with a table booked for 9:00 PM.
There are small adjustments that make all the difference.

08/05/2026: Nice location, the staff were very uptight. Stuck it out and ordered mains. Food was nice, I had tagliatelle negros with shrimp. Nice and tasty. Waitress was Very unpleasant, spoiled the experience. Quickly settled the bill and looked for friendlier pastures.

18/04/2026: I was there for dinner, the pizza was delicious, but the service was a complete disaster. The waiter was unpleasant, the owner of the restaurant didn't even say thank you when paying. Definitely don't go here!

23/04/2026: The best sandwich shop in Trieste, in my opinion. Quality ingredients, very fair prices, a varied menu, excellent beers, and a pub-like atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. I recommend booking in advance to avoid getting a spot at the counter; some nights it gets packed!

02/06/2026: We came here on the recommendation of locals who said the pizza was excellent, but we won’t be coming back.
The ingredients were high-quality and the pizza tasted very good, but the crust was really dry.
We tried both the Roma pizza (thin crust) and the version they describe as having thick crusts like Neapolitan pizza, but it resembled Neapolitan pizza only in the height of the crusts, not in the texture or moisture content of the dough.
Overall, it’s a shame, because the ingredients used were very good.

23/06/2026: Seven of us were staying nearby and had breakfast each morning here. Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Ivan really looked after us. Then one evening we discovered he was open so had a fabulous dinner - fresh swordfish and home-made tiramisu among the dishes. They have their own bakery on site making delicious cornetti etc. Thank you Ivan for your great service.
