14/08/2026: Galvanized by the good reviews on TripAdvisor, we happily went to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the disappointment was swift. The complimentary bread rolls, covered in oil, were tasteless. Then the main courses we received were even worse: a salad with cucumbers that tasted like soap. We pointed this out to the waitress, who said it was normal, they had been picked too early, without changing the dish or doing anything else. The pasta alla Norma was simply pasta in tomato sauce with some bland eggplant mush, tasteless. The plates were almost all full when she collected them, and she didn't ask why we were the only ones in the restaurant. In short, the only redeeming feature was the bottled water, which was refreshing. I've rarely had such bad food in Sicily in the fifteen or so years I've been coming here non-stop.

01/08/2026: Simple and cute place. The gluten-free pizza was delicious...but never seen a gluten-free pizza like this! Perfect dough! It tasted like a regular pizza! Excellent! Compliments to the pizza chef and all the staff. We will definitely be back.

08/05/2026: Nice location, the staff were very uptight. Stuck it out and ordered mains. Food was nice, I had tagliatelle negros with shrimp. Nice and tasty. Waitress was Very unpleasant, spoiled the experience. Quickly settled the bill and looked for friendlier pastures.

08/08/2026: We got it as a tip at our accommodation. Very good pizza, thin crust, the best pizza we've tasted in all of Italy. And the tiramisu? Absolute delight. The service was pleasant and very helpful. The pizza was perfect, thank you very much.

05/08/2026: Very simply. The vibe is unmatched. Cefalu is a historic beautiful town. The staff and the vibe make this modern venue worth visiting. As the sign says…: MOOD ATTUALE “No Vabbè”

03/08/2026: Good breakfast but the pizza was not the best in Cefalu. Although we were staying at the hotel to which the restaurant belongs, we did not receive the 10% discount as we were told in various forms.

09/08/2026: The style is a fusion of Puglian and Sicilian styles. It was simple and powerful.. We don’t speak much Italian, but the staff were very good at helping us communicate. We sat out in the terrace and it seems to be mostly local families enjoying dinner together. It was very dynamic and lively. Pizzas were great, and you can select different kinds of dough. I recommend the sourdough (I think it was traditionale ) which was wonderful and fluffy. Great antipasto, too. The grilled steak was really juicy. I wanted to try the speck, a kind of smoky prosciutto, but there were just too many good options. As with so many places in Palermo, the portion sizes were kind of huge, so we ended up ordering too much. A starter is enough for 2 to share. The staff can bring you a pizza box to take leftovers home. I needed to be rolled home like an arancino 😊

21/08/2026: There are restaurants you try once, and restaurants that, after years, become a sure thing. For me, this one definitely falls into the latter category. I've known it for about eight years, and it's now become my go-to seafood restaurant in the entire province of Palermo. It's an elegant and refined restaurant, where you immediately notice the great attention to detail and, above all, the quality of the ingredients. But what makes it truly special is that, despite the class and caliber of the cuisine, it still retains the warmth typical of a family-run restaurant. They welcome you, look after you, and make you feel at ease with a naturalness that is far from a given these days. It's almost like a second home now. When I want to eat well, and especially when I have friends or loved ones to dinner, it's always my first choice. I already know I'll make a great impression, without ever having the doubt of having chosen the wrong place. After eight years, I can say it without hesitation: for me, Villa Antigone is always a guarantee.

18/08/2026: We were literally kicked out at 2:01 PM by the guy at the bar. We politely asked for a simple pasta dish, or even a salad, but the guy sternly said it was impossible. Meanwhile, the dining room was packed with people having lunch. What a shame! That's no way to discourage tourists! They shouldn't complain that the season hasn't been as favorable. They still have a lot to learn.

17/08/2026: Beautiful place. It was split between a very lively bar this lunchtime and a spacious restaurant upstairs. Almost empty today. The menu is extensive. The prices are attractive. The service was very friendly and efficient. While the beef fillet seemed perfect (served rare), the pennette al cinghiale (wild boar meat) didn't stand out much from the pasta Bolognese... Nevertheless, it's still good value for money. Just like the Campari Spritz as an aperitif. It's well worth the detour, rather than eating in Cefalù. Plus, the view is magnificent!

30/07/2026: I ordered a family takeout, the wait was minimal and the staff was friendly. The price was more than adequate for the quality.
