14/11/2025: Francesca at Garden is one of those people who can turn a bad night into a story worth telling. Last night, the pizza chef was missing. Anywhere else, panic would have erupted, with sighs and awkward apologies. Not here. Francesca reassured us, rolled up her sleeves with the air of someone who says, "Oh well, we'll take care of it," and the girl who works with her went to the oven without thinking. Two improvised pizza chefs, a lit oven, and that slightly comical, slightly heroic determination that makes you realize everything will be okay, even if you don't know how. And those pizzas... damn, they were delicious. The kind that make you think the love that goes into making certain things matters more than talent. The place has a family atmosphere. It offers the kind of warmth that can't be bought or learned: you either have it or you don't. And Francesca has it, oh yes, she has it. Her smile is an invitation to surrender: you surrender to the idea that you're happy here, period. Pizzeria Garden is the place where you come to eat and end up feeling part of the evening's story. A small theater of humanity, with an oven instead of a curtain and Francesca reminding you that, sometimes, home is simply where someone works hard to make you feel good.

10/11/2025: A family atmosphere, excellent pizzas, and a wonderful hostess. If you stop by the Garden, you're sure to find this. I recommend trying the Cudduruni: it's amazing!

19/01/2026: The sea bream carpaccio was spectacular...it was the first time I tried it and I loved it...the pizza and the fish were delicious...the waiters were attentive and very friendly.

16/02/2026: Quite disappointed. We ordered pizzas, which were beautiful and tasty, but the dough was so light that the three of us were left hungry and then went elsewhere for more. Pizza usually ALWAYS fills me up. I spent €11 for nothing. Furthermore, there was constant pressure to vacate the table. I didn't even have time to get the last slice before the waitress had already taken my plate. Before we finished eating, we heard the waitress pointing to our table and saying, "I'll have you sit here now," not considering we were still eating. When we got to the cashier, they didn't even give us a receipt.

The pizzeria is a little outside of Cefalù's historic center, making it easily accessible by car. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. The pizza never disappoints, highly recommended!

It's just a shame the grappa is so expensive (but everywhere in Italy grappa is so damn expensive). I highly recommend it!

09/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. We booked weeks in advance. No one greeted us when we arrived, and when we sat down, the table was already stained. The place gave off a generally unkempt impression: water on the floor and chairs full of sand. The service was very slow: we waited almost two hours just for an appetizer, which was also wrong and didn't even match what was on the menu. Even one of the first courses was served differently than expected: a pasta dish that didn't taste like fish. The waiter was quite rude; they even got the bottle of wine we ordered wrong several times. Furthermore, there was no indication that it was Women's Day, despite the occasion. Another unprofessional detail was seeing a waiter with very long and dirty nails. Overall, it was a very negative experience. Frankly, it gave the impression that the place wasn't yet ready to open or handle customers.

05/01/2026: The bread is good quality. The pastries and the food are excellent. I particularly recommend the Bagheria sfincione and the freshly made cannoli, which are excellent. The staff is efficient and friendly. Prices are average.

15/02/2026: We had dinner on Valentine's Day. We had an appetizer of panelle, crocche', and delicious panini. But the pizza with the special grain dough made all the difference. A delicate, flaky, light, and flavorful pizza, with all those flaxseeds and oats around the edges, it was exquisite. A pizza that deserves a 10 out of 10. Compliments to the pizza chef and all the staff, who were fast, punctual, and precise. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

Some items were good (fried starters), but overall below expectations for the total bill: average pizzas, disappointing pasta (one dish served cold/gloopy; one plate arrived visibly cracked). At checkout an extra €5 for a 1L Coca-Cola appeared; after checking, it was corrected. Coffee was served in plastic cups. It’s in a very touristy area and the overall experience felt geared more towards tourists than regulars. I wouldn’t return.
