27/08/2025: A beautiful location in an unexpected garden. Dinner for two: we shared the fish aperitif and it was delicious. Then we had two main courses: fish rolls with giardiniera, both delicious. And stuffed squid and caponata, even better. We loved that they brought us their bread with two local olive oils to taste. The local Zibibbo wine was excellent.

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.

07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.

13/11/2025: Granduca in Taormina is one of those restaurants that instantly makes you feel like you’re in the heart of authentic Italian and Sicilian culture. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere stood out. The décor, the lighting, and the overall vibe create a very cozy environment that feels both welcoming and lively. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat on the balcony, the view is truly beautiful and adds an extra layer of charm to the whole dining experience. One of the things we loved most about Granduca is the strong Italian character of the place, especially with the traditional Italian pizza oven on display. It gives the restaurant a genuine, local touch and brings an element of tradition that you don’t find everywhere. It also sets the tone for the food quality, which did not disappoint. The menu offers a very good variety of classic Italian and Sicilian dishes, along with an excellent selection of drinks. We tried a couple of different pastas and pizzas, and everything we ordered was delicious. The flavours were well balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of food that truly reflects the region’s culinary pride. Customer service was fair and generally pleasant, though there is room for improvement. Staff were polite and helpful, but service could be a bit more attentive considering how busy the restaurant gets. Overall, Granduca is a great choice in Taormina if you’re looking for excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and a wonderful Italian dining experience. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

07/09/2025: We went to this place with friends and ordered the classic pizza tour menu. The pizzas were good, but the problem was the long wait (about an hour) for our pizzas to arrive. Unfortunately, there was only one pizza chef on duty, and the place was full. Clearly, a single pizza chef can't guarantee prompt delivery, so the owner is solely responsible for the delay. It's a shame, because the pizzas were good and the bill was fair.

11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

01/11/2025: We ordered several pizzas to share, and they were all delicious, with crispy crusts and fresh ingredients. You can tell they're made fresh with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant, simple yet welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was excellent; the staff was always friendly and attentive. I found the prices quite reasonable for the quality. Overall, a very positive experience and a place I'll definitely return to try other pizza combinations.

06/11/2025: Simply excellent. Nine of us went to La Pergola for lunch, and everyone was extremely satisfied. We opted for the house menu, which includes a generous mixed appetizer, two first courses, and a mixed grill, including drinks. The quality of the food is very high, and everything is fresh and authentic; you can tell it's prepared with love and care. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

14/10/2025: The arancini and vegetable croquettes were delicious. I went twice, with two different locals, so that shows how good it is!

28/09/2025: Family run and sweet staff… definitely an unhurried vibe which we didn’t mind! The pasta with baked ricotta was soooo yummy as were the grilled vegetables. Tasted like going to a friend’s family house for dinner!

13/09/2025: I've been coming to Brolo for 25 years and at Jolly Pizza for 20 years the pizza is divine, so everything is good, compliments to the pizza chefs, to the people who serve us at the tables and above all to the lady of the house who is sweet and friendly.

17/09/2025: The pasta was really tasty perfectly al dente, with a nice balanced sauce and well-cooked meat. The flavor stayed on my tongue even after finishing. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, good table setting, and the staff were very friendly and never rushed me. Overall a great experience!

11/07/2025: Nous sommes arrives tard le soir et sans réservation,,nous avons attendu 3' et nous avons été tres bien installé. Il y a une terrasse avec une vue exceptionnele.Des serveurs très sympathiques alors qu'il y avait le problème de la langue,on ne parle pas italien ni anglais. Le repas fut excellents et de très bonne qualité/ prix. Nous y reviendrons pour la fin de nos vacances.

01/11/2025: I've been here several times but never left a review. Today I decided to do so because the place has always held up to expectations. First of all, I'd like to commend the waiters: they're very professional, knowledgeable, and very fast, as well as very courteous. The place is very family-friendly and welcoming, and the pizza is always delicious with top-notch ingredients. I recommend it to everyone!!! Try it.

06/10/2025: A truly wonderful discovery on Sunday evening. The staff were very helpful, the place was quite spacious, but the real star was the pizza, a true masterpiece with authentic, quality ingredients. We'll be happy to return.

16/11/2025: UNACCEPTABLE!!! The staff was too friendly! From the appetizer to the main course, we ate wonderfully! But the worst part was the wine glass being double the usual size. P.S. I'm saddened to have tried the tuna tartare because I'm sure I'll never taste anything this good again.
