05/07/2025: Unlike the external appearance, which is rather anonymous, inside the environment is comfortable with a modern and refined note. Young staff, friendly with discretion and absolutely perfect, in my opinion. Let's now evaluate the reason that drives a person to enter a restaurant, the food. We enjoyed a fish-based aperitif. Different tastings, some obvious, others intriguing. All good starting from the bread, continuing with the tastings and in particular with the gnocchi with shrimp and pistachio and concluding with the wine that accompanied the dinner. I forgot an ice cream at the end of the meal was the icing on the cake. Well done.

21/03/2025: As soon as you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by the very friendly owner, a relaxing atmosphere ideal after a day of work, attentive service, varied menu, delicious pizza and grilled fish. Excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend it to everyone

18/07/2025: The focaccia, arancini, and mozzarella in carrozza were delicious. The only problem was that the arancini were a bit too salty, and we had to wait a long time for them.

17/07/2025: I've found the old-fashioned deli! Where you had to wait just long enough for freshly baked food, not leftovers on the counter. Everything was delicious! Especially the focaccias, with their light, crumbly, and crispy dough.

27/03/2025: I'm from Puglia and lived in this small town for a few months. I ate dinner at this restaurant almost every night. I highly recommend it!! Excellent food, wonderful people, and the place is always clean and welcoming. My heartfelt compliments to the owner, Franco, who was always courteous and available to accommodate our requests. 17/07/2025: I wanted to eat near the sea, away from cars and the nightlife, and this is my place! For now, we've had the pizza, which is delicious and well-topped with a dough that holds up well until the end. Next time, we'll have fish, which I think is excellent too. The menu offers a good selection, but not overdone, typical of quality cuisine. I celebrated my birthday here, and they had a truly wonderful celebration! Everyone is so kind and always has a smile on their face. We come back every week! Highly recommended just before sunset to fully enjoy it even at the table. Thanks, Gabbiano!

16/07/2025: It suffers from the closure of a stretch of main road and therefore little customer traffic, all in all simple and economical cuisine.

30/07/2025: After 30 years, I'm back for focaccia at Zio Billy, and I have to say the focaccia was excellent. We devoured 3 kg. I didn't remember the place being so big, with outdoor tables. The staff was very kind and helpful, even moving us from one table to another because we were with visually impaired people. To top it all off, the bill was ridiculously low, maybe 12 euros per person. These days, finding a cool, quiet, good, and affordable place is rare. I'll definitely be back.

02/08/2025: Personale pessimo, non comunica per niente, poco accogliente. Prezzi eccessivi per due pizze scarse di condimenti . C'è assolutamente di meglio in città. Assolutamente da non ritornarci . Cani in sala, zanzare , e farfalline .. dopo aver fatto presente tutto non hanno fatto niente per migliorare la nostra permanenza..che dire da non ritornarci mai piu

07/07/2025: Con un gruppo di amici ci volevamo sedere fuori ma ci viene consigliato dalla cameriera di sederci dentro in quanto la sala era climatizzata, abbiamo accettato, ma poi hanno spento il climatizzatore e noi abbiamo chiesto per ben due volte di riaccenderlo, ci veniva risposto che lo avrebbero acceso subito ma non lo hanno mai fatto. Per quanto riguarda la pizza ne abbiamo mangiato di migliori.

16/06/2025: All'interno di un paese meraviglioso abbiamo scoperto questo locale che si affaccia sulla caratteristica piazza del paese ed abbiamo assaggiato una squisitissima granita siciliana! Straconsigliata! Il personale si è dimostrato gentilissimo, simpatico e molto accogliente!

22/07/2025: We arrived a little early to eat pizza on the Granduca terrace, but the pizzeria wasn't open yet. Despite this, the staff was incredibly welcoming: they sat us down anyway and offered us a glass of prosecco while we waited, telling us to enjoy the view. And what a view! The sunset over the bay of Taormina is truly magical. The kindness and courtesy of the entire staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And the pizza? Truly delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients.

22/07/2025: I've been there for dinner several times, and the service was excellent. The service is very good. I want to highlight the waiter, Axel, and the tall, bearded young man who took our order. The atmosphere is remarkable, with a view of the sea, Capo Taormina. I was lucky enough to see an incredible red moon the first time I went. Excellent place for a variety of occasions, from a date to a family dinner or a private event.

11/07/2025: Nous sommes arrives tard le soir et sans réservation,,nous avons attendu 3' et nous avons été tres bien installé. Il y a une terrasse avec une vue exceptionnele.Des serveurs très sympathiques alors qu'il y avait le problème de la langue,on ne parle pas italien ni anglais. Le repas fut excellents et de très bonne qualité/ prix. Nous y reviendrons pour la fin de nos vacances.
