02/05/2026: Visited his restaurant on the Sunday before Easter. We all had a wonderful time. Food was great but even better was the welcome and the generosity of our hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed the mains and a lovely tiramisu as well as the home made marmalade.

30/01/2026: I was there yesterday. The pizza was excellent like few others in the area. You can tell by the look of it, the care that goes into its preparation. The dough was really good. I highly recommend trying this place. Make a reservation!

16/06/2026: We came from the Hotel Olimpo, a nice spot for the beach. However, the staff don't seem to enjoy their work. I think the girl behind the bar, in particular, is fed up with it🤨. It's also a bit odd that you aren't allowed to choose which sunbed to take. We only had lunch here, paninis. Fine, but not really melted well.

09/08/2026: A longtime customer, disappointed. I went for dinner yesterday. All that remains of the place is the name, embellished but nothing like Old Uncle Billy. The product is only traditional focaccia, pizzas, and main courses. The staff management, however, remains unclear, without even considering the dishes or the staff's professionalism. I strongly advise against it.

07/09/2025: I ordered a plate of seafood spaghetti and it was undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted: fresh, balanced, and authentic flavors, with the pasta cooked to perfection. My sincere compliments also go to the staff, who were always attentive, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable in describing the dishes and offering the best recommendations. An experience that combines gastronomic quality and great professionalism: I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience high-quality cuisine. The icing on the cake was the karaoke night!

18/04/2026: Terrible quality. I ordered fried calzones of all kinds, and I didn't expect to find this after such a long time. Furthermore, the pizza was almost raw, anemic, and with toppings that seemed to be from horrible pizzas. I advise the restaurant to improve and not to judge this review negatively. Thank you.

22/06/2026: The only bar near the entrance to the "Piscine di Venere" in Milazzo. A nice place to cool off and enjoy a refreshing drink. The same can't be said for the food, which at first glance seems poor quality. However, I can only confirm my assessment of the "focaccia," which is bland and low-quality, like a ready-made crust with cheese on top. What justifies my rating, however, is the price: €4 for a piece of focaccia seems excessive, especially considering my previous comments. I felt cheated. I don't recommend it.

11/08/2026: The focaccia was very, very good. The only flaw was that we waited quite a while, but probably because of the particular evening (August 10th, San Lorenzo).

10/08/2026: Terrible. The takeout service works perfectly, but the wait at the tables is until 10 PM, even though we were seated at 8 PM. When you ask for an explanation, no one answers. They don't even look you in the eye.

11/08/2026: An experience to forget. I went there in the evening with my family. While some kids were playing ball, at a certain point, a boy grabbed our table. I kicked the ball up with my foot, and it almost hit a woman. The owner probably chased the boy who picked up the ball, tackled him, and threatened the boy. It's not a place to spend an evening. Then they wonder why Italy isn't going to the World Cup.

10/08/2026: We ordered tuna tartare, grilled prawns, and mixed grill. It was excellent, but after finishing, we waited 25 minutes for dessert and two coffees. After that, no waiter showed up at our table. So we got up and went to pay. When we checked out, they didn't ask us anything, and I had to wait for the lady to bring our orders before paying. The customer service is truly terrible. They should pamper their customers more, instead of letting them settle down. Compared to other restaurants I've tried here in Lipari, this is one I definitely wouldn't return to.

13/08/2026: I arrived here rather late, after a long journey due to a huge delay on my train from Calabria. Yet, as soon as I arrived, I found a warm welcome and a truly fantastic dinner. Luckily, a dear Sicilian friend had arranged everything, and Stefano, the owner, was super kind. He's also a fantastic bagpipe player and maker. We started with pasta with mussels, incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. Then I chose a mixed grill, truly excellent. All accompanied by a delicious house wine. In a delightful atmosphere, in a splendid location, we also listened to some live music. And, to finish, a house amaro before immersing ourselves in the Sicilian night. A simply perfect evening to start my stay in Sicily. Thank you so much to Stefano and everyone! I'll definitely be back.

24/09/2025: We organized a wonderful party for about 60 people at Manuja in September 2025 under the new management of Giorgia and her husband. Aside from their kindness and helpfulness, the food was delicious, we had a great time, the place was magical, and the buffet was so good! We had both vegetarians and celiacs, and they were able to accommodate every request. Thank you so much for organizing our pre-wedding!

27/06/2026: Excellent food, from pizza slices to arancini to nuggets—in short, a quick and diverse offering that caters to everyone, but above all, with quality ingredients. I highly recommend it. There's also a large free parking lot across the street, along with a municipal park with a playground. Overall, an ideal option, especially for families with children.

07/08/2026: Terrible experience!!! At the waiters' urging, we ordered two glasses of wine for three to get a free bottle of a promoted wine, at the advertised price of €6.50 per glass. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the price (which online was €11 per bottle...), which magically became €8 per glass when it came time to pay, with the staff refusing to open the bottle they'd promoted so much. The staff were surly, deceitful, uncoordinated, and overbearing, constantly harassing the table, clearing away the dishes and keeping an eye on us. Very slow service for mediocre food for the price: the swordfish rolls were dry, tasting only of breadcrumbs, and the busiate pasta was lightly salted. Furthermore, the SIDE DISH recommended on the menu never arrived, and only when prompted did they bring a "side dish" of six zucchini circles, divided between two. At the checkout, the incompetent and arrogant staff initially calculated a price of 76 euros (incorrect), which, divided by three, equaled 36. TOURIST TRAP, AVOID!!

07/08/2026: We must start by saying that the meal was very expensive for mediocre food: the rolls were a bit dry, and the breadcrumbs were stinging, the swordfish busiate lacked salt, and the Trapani-style pesto lacked garlic—in short, it lacked flavor. The staff was confusing and surly, constantly staring at people from behind, providing false and misleading information, and were often unhelpful and unwelcoming. They tried to trick us with a special offer on Charme wine; after we bought two glasses, they prevented us from drinking the small bottle that was on sale (we're tourists and didn't have corkscrews with us, and we weren't told that it wouldn't be possible to drink it at the table and that we'd be forced to carry it around the city). They then tried to charge us 8 euros per glass at the register instead of 6.50 as the waiter had told us. At the register, they also told us that 76 euros divided by 3 equals 36 (pay attention to the receipt and the prices at the register). Furthermore, the service was very slow (we waited at least half an hour for three dishes). The menu stated that both the shrimp and the rolls would come with a house side dish (zucchini or fries), yet they never arrived. After requesting them, they only brought one small plate of zucchini instead of two, and late to boot, rudely telling my friend "Don't worry, it's coming" three times (and, I repeat, both didn't arrive either, and they pretended we were making it up). Avoid this experience; it's a touristy place.
