09/08/2025: Honestly, I had to change my mind. It didn't start out very well. The day before, I had gone to make a reservation for a table of 12 people. It was Saturday, and the girl at the cash register was rude. That's a compliment! Instead, we found the staff, though small for the number of people, very kind and helpful. The pizza was good, with crispy and well-cooked dough. The gluten-free one was also good. The traditional focaccia was decent, but the capricciosa was a little less so. The only major flaw was the poor-quality cheese. It looks like a rava. The one with speck and burrata, however, was excellent. Service was a bit slow; we waited over an hour for the focaccia. The pizzas, however, arrived 15 minutes after ordering. Prices were average.

06/08/2025: Without saying a word, I paid €50 for about 4 kg of Messina focaccia. If last year's menu is still valid, the traditional one should have cost €10 per kg, so I shouldn't have paid more than €40. But since they thought they'd found chicken, they played the classic three-card monte. They were happy, but I'll never stop by again. Not to mention their smug and rather confusing attitude.

03/08/2025: Rudeness reigns supreme...we only had drinks, not dinner...but the lack of hospitality and lack of professionalism leads me to not recommend it even for a quick stop like ours...a carouse evening where the only positive note is the girl in charge of the songs, who has a very beautiful voice, truly wasted working on a Saturday night in a place like this. It's a shame about the location on the seafront, but it's completely neglected.

18/07/2025: Prima volta in questo locale fino ad oggi completamente sconosciuto. Una serata tranquilla, servizio rapido con ragazzi gentilissimi e soprattutto rustici e focaccia davvero buoni. Per noi ,che solitamente frequentiamo locali siti nel nostro territorio (Spadafora e paesi limitrofi), è un luogo in cui tornare.

12/07/2025: Lascio questa recensione a malincuore perché in famiglia eravamo affezionati a questo posto. Purtroppo la qualità è caduta a picco, la focaccia è pessima, dura, a volte bruciata, sembra del giorno prima o riscaldata. Terribile. Un vero peccato. Si salvano ancora i rustici, chissà per quanto. Mi dispiace, non tornerò più.

01/08/2025: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo in questo ristorante, su una bella terrazza con vista mare. Abbiamo mangiato pane cunzato, frittura mista, spiedini di pesce spada. Buon cibo, piatti tipici, servizio veloce e prezzi adeguati.

22/07/2025: Luftiger Terasse, Blick aufs Meer, sehr gutes Essen: Pizza blitzschnell am Tischund köstlich,,Risotto und Nudel absolut top! Hauswein kühl und leicht. Absolut empfehlenswert!

17/07/2025: A name, a reason. We ordered a Spritz, water, and a calzone. After 5 minutes, they told us the calzone wasn't available. No problem, we replaced it with a buttered arancini with ham. After 35 minutes (and three reminders), the arancini finally arrived. Cold and wrong. At the cashier, they tried to charge us for both the calzone and the arancini. After all, the €3.30 service charge needed to be justified somehow... Never again.

17/07/2025: Friendly place with pleasant staff. Malandrino offers arancini, calzoni, pizzas, drinks... at a very reasonable price but be careful, if you sit at a table, there is no menu... so you order blindly, without knowing the prices! And at the end, surprise surprise... an exaggeratedly high amount is added to your bill for "table service"!! It's really "malandrino" of them!

11/05/2025: I have never been to this pizzeria, but I made two home orders. Delivery was on time, hot pizzas. I find the prices very honest without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients.

27/03/2025: It's the third time I've ordered at home and every time it arrives late and is also postponed, today I ordered at 7.05pm with delivery at 8.30pm via just eat, the restaurant moved the delivery to 9pm and I didn't say anything, at the time of delivery there was a 5 minute delay, I send a delay notification and they tell me that the order is being prepared and will be delivered at 9.25pm, I call the restaurant and the answering machine, I wait for 9.25pm ​​and the order is still late, I call the restaurant at 9.30pm to get news and the rider had yet to leave. Delivery made at 9.37pm. It's not done like that!

15/06/2025: I never write negative reviews about places because I know how difficult this job is. It's the first time I'll do it because our experience in this place was unpleasant due to the attitude of the owner who told us "yes" to everything during the reservation and then "knew nothing" of our very simple requests (such as a single table for the teachers and the students, a case of celiac disease, the agreement on the price, the requests to turn on the air conditioning, at the end the ice cream cake completely melted even though they were asked several times to put it in the freezer). We chose this place for the final dinner of the class and we were wrong. Now I know that the phrase most used by the owner: "No problem" is a sign of serious problems. If you book there and hear: "No problem", it means that you will have many.

15/06/2025: An experience to forget. During an end-of-year school dinner, the owner was apparently helpful but false and unclear. Initially, she made separate tables when it was clearly stated that the table was for 25. Once this was resolved, there was a problem with the air conditioning, so these poor 25 adults and children were hosted in a room without air conditioning. Finally, she kept the 6 kg ice cream cake in a poorly functioning freezer or fridge and served it completely melted. I understand that you may have difficulties, but you must be clear from the start. Sometimes a customer returns just because you have been honest with him. For me, choosing this place was a mistake!

18/07/2025: Three of us arrived at 9:00 PM with no welcome. We called the waitress twenty minutes later and she set the table for us, brought us the menu, and ordered the pizzas. After complaining to the waitress twice, at 10:30 PM I got up and went inside to find out when we'd be served. When I asked, the pizza chef, in the presence of the owner, responded aggressively and arrogantly, saying he was taking it. Finally, at 10:50 PM, the pizzas arrived, badly made, with unleavened dough and poorly melted cheese. Finally, after eating half of our pizzas, we went to the cashier to pay, and the pizza chef, in the presence of the owner and some customers who were leaving without even receiving their plates, slapped his hands over our faces, saying he'd done his best and that customers never have a right to complain. In any case, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit.

13/05/2025: I have been going to this pizzeria for ten years. Stello the owner with Antonella, his sister, they are constantly improving the place. Maintaining an excellent quality of the products, even the bread, with excellent prices. Very good.

10/04/2025: Super arancini, very kind staff, I took some arancini to take to Calabria, even after days, delicious as freshly baked.

20/03/2025: If you want to eat Messina focaccia, this is certainly the least suitable place. Focaccia in which the only sensation was grease, but not a tasty grease, a grease devoid of any taste. Terrible service, the staff made comments as if the customer couldn't listen to them, also not very attentive.

03/05/2025: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The service was terrible: the waitress was rude, lacking in empathy and without any attention towards the customer. The Aperol Spritz was served in a plastic glass, poorly prepared and without even a slice of orange – nothing that gave the impression of professionalism. When asked for some snacks, the response was an unpleasant gesture and finally we were brought a half empty glass with stale chips. Positive note: the view of the sea at sunset is truly splendid. Conclusion: avoid this bar!
