18/06/2025: Very welcoming place, helpful and kind staff, fresh, abundant and delicious food, and above all the prices are very moderate. I personally recommend it.

03/06/2025: Really a great experience. The waitress was very good and efficient, the food was good and the prices were fair. The only flaw was that it was scorching hot and even though we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, there were no improvements. But it's a small flaw, we had a great time.

25/10/2025: The pizza was delicious, as was the tiramisu. The meat was also very good. Generous portions. Rosé is not very well-known. Service was quick and friendly. The ambiance could be improved a bit in terms of lighting; it's currently very bright with large lamps. It could be a bit more atmospheric.

06/10/2025: Everything was perfect, the starter was varied and plentiful, the second course and the side dish were equally plentiful.

05/10/2025: We enjoyed mixed appetizers and a fish main course (albacore tuna with caramelized onion) and were very satisfied with both the quantity and quality. The price was €40 per person, including two glasses of wine. A bit pricey, but worth it.

02/10/2025: The dishes I tried were delicious. Everything was fresh, made with top-quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ON SATURDAY!!! We waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken. On the weekend, choose a different restaurant.

12/07/2025: Sono stato per cena e l’esperienza è stata eccellente. Il cibo era molto buono, con pesce fresco e ben cucinato. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile, e in particolare il proprietario si è dimostrato davvero cordiale: ci ha consigliato con attenzione, aiutandoci a ordinare le giuste quantità senza esagerare. Un gesto raro e molto apprezzato. Anche i prezzi sono stati sorprendentemente bassi rispetto alla qualità offerta. Un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Tornerò sicuramente.

07/07/2025: Erano anni che avevamo deciso di non andare più a cenare in questo ristorante per la progressiva decadenza della qualità dei prodotti e della capacità di cucinare, purtroppo sperando che magari fosse migliorato abbiamo commesso l'errore di ritornarci. In pratica non hanno pesce fresco, solo surgelato che accompagnano con una salsa acidula che si ritrova quasi in tutti i piatti dagli spaghetti alla caponata di pesce e tutti gli antipasti come le cozze ripiene, sono dominate da questo sapore di pomodoro acido. gli involtini di pesce spada,senza pomodoro. erano secchi e poco saporiti ! Insomma una esperienza che potevamo benissimo evitare e che ha rovinato la serata. A fronte di un conto di 115 euro per 4 persone in pratica un antipasto e un piatto di portata a persona con un calice di vino e due bottigliette d'acqua!

12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

06/11/2025: During our visit to Stromboli in early November, this was the only place to get a pizza after our volcano hike around 10 pm. The pizzas were delicious and the service was good. The homemade tartufo with cocoa powder was also very tasty. The next day we came for breakfast; the pistachio croissants were delicious and freshly filled upon request. We also ate lunch here before our ferry ride, as all the other restaurants had closed by 2 or 3 pm. Overall, highly recommended for a visit to Stromboli, no matter what time of day.

18/09/2025: Great stay at Hotel Arcangelo. Close to the center of Marina di Salina, the port and shops are easily accessible. The room was perfect, large, with a beautiful bathroom. The pool is very welcome after a day exploring the island. The view is magnificent. The service, the breakfast, everything was perfect! Many thanks to all! I recommend it, and I won't hesitate to come back! Alice

08/09/2025: Ruined evening. As soon as my wife and I arrived, we saw a quiet and relaxing atmosphere; we had chosen based on the reviews. We ordered mussels at 8:30 PM, and they arrived almost immediately and were delicious. The two plates of squid in sauce we ordered only arrived at 10:45 PM, which, despite the wait, had given us pause for thought, as it would have meant they were preparing them on the spot. But reality shattered any belief, as they were cold on the outside and the filling inside was frozen. We sent them to be reheated, but they were inedible due to the sour tomato sauce. The waitress tried to apologize, but to no avail. She said the cook blamed the sauce for being too acidic, forgetting that even bottled sauce can be adjusted for acidity. We didn't order anything else. Two and a half hours for two dishes, and paid 50 euros for two people, without wine. Highly not recommended!!!

03/08/2025: A unique experience! I tried several pizzas and pitoni and was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The menu offers a good variety, ideal for those who love to experiment with new flavors. The place is spotless and welcoming. Family-run!! Everything was delicious!! Congratulations!

28/03/2025: Serata di coppia presso pizzeria il capitano , ambiente molto accogliente e famigliare. Personale molto disponibile a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta Abbiamo preso antipasto della casa e dire che era spettacolare e dire poco . Il pizzaiolo ci ha deliziato con una pizza baby alla Nutella , squisita . Il prezzo , popolarissimo rispetto a tanti altre pizzerie di livello inferiore. Consigliatissimo

14/11/2025: The worst pasta I've ever eaten in Italy – overcooked, with tomato sauce that tasted like it came from a jar and only one slice of eggplant 🙈 The only plus was the truly beautiful views, but unfortunately they didn't make up for the quality of the food.
