30/08/2024: From the phone call to book, the infinite kindness of the staff was already evident. Upon arrival we were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a good Sicilian I like to consume seafood and I can confirm that I was finally able to taste the sea in all the dishes I tasted. Rating 10 and praise for the seafood starter without the addition of unnecessary and excessive condiments allowed me to savor all the freshness of the various types of fish present on the plate. Spaghetti with clams? Perfect pasta cooking, al dente but not too much, white as they should be, without excess oil... delicious. Fried calamari? A delicacy, perfectly seasoned with salt, visibly fresh frying oil. I also tried the standard macaroni... I guarantee that they are truly made with exceptional goodness. To finish with a delicious lemon sorbet as few people know how to make... granite but not too much and just the right amount of tartness.
The sober, not necessarily formal, well-kept, welcoming environment (the verdelli trees in the outdoor room are a plus) made our stop pleasant.
A round of applause to all the staff in the room who exude professionalism from every pore. Fast, attentive and very kind.
Thank you for the very pleasant experience.
I will return to Sicily and you will be my MUST❤️

You have to find the restaurant, lost in the middle of nowhere but it's worth the detour if you're in the area.

Andiamo molto spesso a mangiare fuori ed in più veniamo dalla Liguria, terra nota per la sua calorosa accoglienza del turista ( sono ironica ovviamente ) , però una cosa del genere doveva inaspettatamente capitarci proprio in Sicilia .
Tavolo prenotato, cena in famiglia, 6 persone. Ci fanno accomodare in giardino all’aperto . Piano piano comincia a piovere, restiamo seduti il più possibile, alla fine siamo costretti ad alzarci e ad andarci a riparare ( come tutti gli altri) all’interno del locale che era apparecchiato per una tavolata. Qualche tavolo libero c’era e comunque i camerieri stavano portando dentro alcuno tavoli esterni.Passa qualche minuto e un cameriere ci dice che, siccome non avevamo ancora ordinato , avrebbe servito le altre persone e che noi avremmo dovuto aspettare che cenassero tutti gli altri , almeno 1 o 2 ore secondo lui , prima di trovarci un tavolo . Io sgomenta, giuro . Ci ha praticamente mandato via e pure in modo poco garbato . A nulla sono valse le nostre proteste e il fatto che avessimo prenotato per tempo .
Piccola nota di folclore, accanto a noi all’esterno, c’era un altro tavolo di 6 persone, che sono sicura non avesse ancora ordinato , e a loro il posto è stato trovato . Che dire , è successo anche questo ! Io fossi stata in loro avrei trovato il modo di non fare una simile figura ma evidentemente non l’hanno ritenuto importante. Peccato, mia madre scende tutti gli anni a Santa Teresa. Comunque la vicenda è finita bene, pochi metri verso S. Alessio c’è un ‘altra pizzeria che ci ha accolto e abbiamo mangiato anche molto bene! Non tutti i mali vengono per nuocere ;)

24/08/2024: Ottimo ristorante in posizione comodissima anche per il parcheggio. Personale disponibile. Un plauso particolare alla cameriera originaria di Cuba, preparata, sempre professionale, ma allo stesso tempo amichevole e accogliente. Grazie a lei ed alle proposte di piatti del giorno sempre diversi, siamo tornati per 5 giorni consecutivi! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, ottima carta dei vini. Proposta varia e soddisfacente sia per quanto riguarda la pizza, sia i secondi di pesce.

22/08/2024: The starter was good and plentiful, the main courses were also very good but the portions could have been a little more generous given the price. The only flaw is the limited choice of wines and desserts. All in all positive experience. I recommend it for anyone who wants to try authentic, homemade cuisine

22/08/2024: Evening of 19/08, we stopped by to get two takeaway pizzas. They told us that we would have to wait at least half an hour but we still waited patiently and it was worth it. We took a margherita and a 4 cheese, delicious. We will absolutely be back!

24/08/2024: Friendly and helpful staff for all our requests, nice location and suitable for families with children having plenty of space. Normal waiting times even though the place was almost full of customers. In particular the pizza, sublime, light and honeycomb dough using top quality ingredients!! We will definitely be back as soon as possible to eat the pistachio pizza again... delicious

06/08/2024: I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!
After we arrived at the restaurant around 10:30 p.m. we were assigned a table.
You could have said it's too late and we'd better look elsewhere, but you didn't.
After we ordered, the drama began.
The children's drinks were not delivered after about 20 minutes had passed after the adults received the drinks.
Starters didn't arrive at the same time or were served 15 minutes late and were completely forgotten by a family member.
Children did not receive their pasta with the others' starters, even though this was clearly communicated because they were hungry!
You later blame the lateness of the time.
The ambience on site is really great, which is why I give it 5 stars.
Service was a flat 0 and the starter that I was allowed to try also tasted pretty good.
Bottom line, not recommended!
The end of the story was that we left the location without paying after consulting the restaurant manager.
Oh, and the portions on the plates are also counted, so there's not really anything on them.
05/08/2024: Manuja is a restaurant-pizzeria a few steps from the sea, in the Canotta area. The place is large and spacious, most of the tables are outdoors and - on the right evening - you can spend a moment of serenity and fun. The staff is very friendly and welcoming (during the service they stopped by several times to ask if everything was ok), the pizza is good and the prices are correct. The waiting times, however, are too long (really very long). Another negative aspect is the excessively heavy table linen which these days, with 34°C even in the evening, gives you a sauna effect (perhaps in the summer it would be better to replace it with something lighter).
Overall a good experience, but waiting times really need to be reviewed!!!

24/08/2024: Siamo diventati clienti abituali durante quest'estate: abbiamo provato la pizza, l'aperifish, piatti di pesce e i panini. Tutto buonissimo e di buona qualità. Il personale è professionale, attento e sollecito: anche quando c'è stato un piccolo disguido si sono scusati con una coccola alimentare. Il proprietario è accogliente e simpatico.
