08/06/2026: A landmark in the city, you eat well and spend the right amount, you can feel that the team works with love and not just for the vile money, I forgot, the specialty is the focaccia messinese.
07/06/2026: The bar was bordering on disgusting. I ordered a granita with brioche, and the spoon they gave me was covered in chocolate. After having it exchanged, without even complaining, I noticed that the napkin container (which didn't even have half a napkin) was also covered in chocolate. Disgusting, disgusting. The granita wasn't even bad, but everything else was disgusting. Not recommended. I've attached a photo where you can see the filth on the spoon.

18/04/2026: Terrible quality. I ordered fried calzones of all kinds, and I didn't expect to find this after such a long time. Furthermore, the pizza was almost raw, anemic, and with toppings that seemed to be from horrible pizzas. I advise the restaurant to improve and not to judge this review negatively. Thank you.

12/04/2026: Excellent pizzas with fast and punctual delivery. They had two wrong ones, I called to report the mistake, and within ten minutes the correct ones arrived. A sign of great professionalism. Yes, they have a few tables, and I'll try to eat there someday.

29/04/2026: We went to dinner at this restaurant on the evening of April 25th, and despite it being a holiday, it was packed, but not overwhelming. The staff was helpful and very welcoming, prompt with both the reservation and the service. We ordered four pizzas and an appetizer of fries; the ingredients were truly good and flavorful, and the dough was light. My only criticism was that the prosciutto was a bit salty, and the mozzarella wasn't melted very well, but these are small things that often don't depend on the staff.
Otherwise, a very nice experience, and I highly recommend this Bistro!

16/04/2026: We went to this focacceria and ordered four different flavors of focaccia.
Unfortunately, the first impression wasn't positive: the dough was burnt and rather tasteless.
Going into detail:
The traditional one with tuma and anchovies wasn't terrible, but the anchovies were practically nonexistent.
The one with zucchini was too thin and also burnt.
The norma was perhaps the best of the four, but still nothing particularly memorable.
Finally, the Bronte was truly inedible: the dough was very burnt and flavorless. Despite the pistachio pesto and mortadella, which should have given it a bold flavor, the result was completely bland.
Overall, a disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

07/06/2026: I would have left a positive review but Just Eat delivers their pizza cold because they add deliveries to the current orders. I feel sorry for the place but I hope they raise this issue with Just Eat.
15/04/2026: Every time we return to Messina, this rotisserie is our go-to. Extremely friendly staff, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The pidoni are excellent, featuring expertly made dough and generously filled. The arancini are crispy and delicious, and the tasty focaccia follows tradition. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: The first place to go for breakfast if you arrive early, for example, from the Naples ferry at 6:30 am. Two cappuccinos, which were only lukewarm, and a pizza croissant 👌 - €8.50, not bad. The service was a bit slow, but the waitress was really busy, as several ferry passengers were ordering their breakfasts there. You won't find a menu with prices, though 🫤. Views of the sea, harbor, and hillside, and right next to the road.

For lunch with friends, we discovered this place surrounded by greenery but with an incredible sea view, and that was already a plus.
The well-kept garden, inhabited by various species of animals, gave us a sunny May Day with clean air.
The menu was excellent, with a cold appetizer accompanied by various hot appetizers, both seasonal and local.
Two first courses and a mixed grill cooked on the grill. The homemade bread and the red wine we were served were excellent.
Impeccable service, the waiters were cheerful and helpful, even with requests for additional appetizers.
Recommended!!!
