16/04/2026: We went to this focacceria and ordered four different flavors of focaccia. Unfortunately, the first impression wasn't positive: the dough was burnt and rather tasteless. Going into detail: The traditional one with tuma and anchovies wasn't terrible, but the anchovies were practically nonexistent. The one with zucchini was too thin and also burnt. The norma was perhaps the best of the four, but still nothing particularly memorable. Finally, the Bronte was truly inedible: the dough was very burnt and flavorless. Despite the pistachio pesto and mortadella, which should have given it a bold flavor, the result was completely bland. Overall, a disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

15/04/2026: Every time we return to Messina, this rotisserie is our go-to. Extremely friendly staff, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The pidoni are excellent, featuring expertly made dough and generously filled. The arancini are crispy and delicious, and the tasty focaccia follows tradition. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: This evening I ordered 2.50 of three-flavor focaccia, 2 arancini and half a beer for 46 euros. The focaccia was really awful, especially the tomato puree used as a base.

07/03/2026: We called at 7:00 PM to order two pizzas for home delivery. They told us they'd deliver before 8:00 PM. It's 8:20 PM and we call, and they're making them. It's 9:10 PM and they say they're delivering them... it's 9:30 PM and we're still waiting. A real joke!!!! But I give it a zero rating.

10/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza, the prices are medium-high, and the pizza could have been much larger. It's good, but you won't leave feeling full.

01/02/2026: We've been coming back for years. The pizza is great, especially the gluten-free version. Unfortunately, tourists are outmatched by locals when it comes to service. The serving time for a tourist is unacceptable :(. Think about it.

30/12/2025: I ordered a Margherita, but the ingredients weren't of the highest quality and the pizza was heavy to digest, despite being topped simply with mozzarella and tomato. I expected much more.

29/08/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria often. The gastronomic experience has always been excellent. Unfortunately, however, last night I must say with deep regret that this was not the case. The service was very welcoming as always. The staff was fully capable of satisfying every need of the diners with the profound kindness that has always distinguished them. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. The classic and skin-on fries were excellent. The pizza ingredients were very fresh. The problem arose with the pizza dough. It didn't seem entirely freshly made, or at least recently prepared. Last night and this morning I had serious intestinal problems with severe abdominal pain. Many of the diners also reported these problems. I felt terrible. At this moment, I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to eat pizza at this establishment. A very disappointing experience, and I say this as a loyal customer of this pizzeria.

15/06/2025: Good pizzas, on Saturday night the service could be improved in terms of timing. The highlight is a superlative sweet pizza!

03/05/2026: Excellent aperitif, helpful and very friendly staff. They are very professional... Everything is delicious, definitely worth trying... We go there often and everything is always excellent.

11/01/2026: The pizza wasn't bad, the staff was useless, the staff was really awful.

08/01/2026: The location was appropriate for the expectations and budget. Overall, we had a good time, especially considering there were 20 adults and 17 children.

25/03/2026: We've now felt at home at Pulcinella. We've hosted our children's birthday parties at Pulcinella several times, and we have nothing negative to say. The staff is kind and welcoming, the deli food is top-notch (I challenge you to find better), and the kids are incredibly happy in the inflatable area dedicated to them. Their entertainer, Davide from Royal Party (I must say), is incredibly helpful, fun, and engaging with both adults and children. What can I say??? We'll definitely be back again. Quality and price, happy kids and parents too!

26/11/2025: Unfortunately, the quality doesn't match the price. They almost charged for the toilet service too. Too exaggerated.

02/05/2026: Good value for money. It's a trattoria with fast and efficient service. The dishes are plentiful and well-prepared.

21/04/2026: Federico's village is a must-see every time I come to Catania. The horse meat is top-notch.
