24/08/2024: Siamo clienti "estivi" da anni del ristorante Popeye e ci siamo sempre trovati bene! E' una location molto particolare: c'e' una sala interna e una esterna con veranda vista mare, insomma e' molto confortevole. Abbiamo provato diverse pietanze: spaghetti e risotto alla marinara, spaghetti alle vongole, alle sarde e al pomodoro fresco per la bimba; inoltre abbiamo assaggiato pepata di cozze e cozze alla marinara. I piatti erano tutti molto buoni e con porzioni adeguate. Il personale e' sempre stato gentile, sorridente e disponibile, in particolare l'unico e inimitabile Sebastiano, che ha accolto sempre le nostre richieste!! Ristorante super consigliato! Un saluto speciale da Chiara, Marco e la piccola Sofia!!!

23/08/2024: The wait is a bit long and if you don't get the staff's attention, no one will consider you. Margherita pizza is good but the norcina, which would be sausage and onions, in my opinion, it would be better if it were specified that the sausage contains fennel. In my case the flavor of the sausage and onion were completely covered by the fennel and being a person who doesn't like it at all it wasn't a very good dinner, in fact, I had to not finish the pizza because the flavor had filled my mouth completely Cover charge at 3 euros exaggerated.

30/08/2024: Listening even to a French tourist. Varied menu with local specialties and translated into French. Too bad there is no pizza for lunch service, a detail not very bothersome for me.

12/08/2024: Super filling pizza. There were 6 of us and we took 2 American ones, one buffalo pizza, one four flavors and two pizzas with 8 grain dough, one rustic and one buffalo pizza. Good dough, but bland. Good and plentiful ingredients, cooked as per photo, slightly burnt. The burnt part ruins the taste on the palate. We ate it all, but perhaps a small pizza would have been enough or a margherita would have been enough. Another flaw is the slowness, the impression is that 4 pizzas come out at a time which makes the service understandably very slow. We waited an hour to get the pizza and given the August temperature the drinks had already warmed up. This obviously did not allow us to enjoy the pizzas at their best. We then had two coffees (only normal, no macchiato available and not particularly good) and a tiramisu. We drank 3 bottles of water, a 1 liter coke and a beer and spent €81

05/08/2024: Never again... we went to this pizzeria with friends, pizzas with very little seasoning, nothing special, but the most unpleasant thing was the arrogance and rudeness of the owner's daughter. I don't recommend it

28/02/2024: Very clean and beautiful hotel. The breakfast had very good quality. Also the staff is nice and helpful. We really liked the location because of the free parking, while the old city is still in walking distance.

28/08/2024: Place set in a wonderful and panoramic context. Unfortunately we waited 110 minutes for the pizzas, even though we had arrived much earlier than other tables. We were told that the order for a portion of french fries, which was to be shared between four people, blocked the order for our pizzas. After many years of excellent results this time the service left something to be desired. As regards the quality of the pizzas, in addition to the menu having changed with the lack of the pistachio line, there was too much mozzarella as well as ingredients such as lemon peels, which were too strong and made the pizza unappetizing. The management of this business will probably have changed, but overall I would recommend it. Sometimes something can also go wrong, I hope my review is still appreciated and useful for future customers.

16/08/2024: I had the "pleasure" of being served by the owners of this kiosk. I had already been to this place two years ago and the experience wasn't the best but I still wanted to give it a second chance. Unfortunately, both times, I found great rudeness and discourtesy on the part of the staff present... what can I say, a real OASIS OF VASTASI.

01/08/2024: Very bad experience. I highly recommend the owner to change jobs! This morning I asked if they had soy milk and he replied in a rather rude manner. We are in 2024, update yourself!

31/05/2024: Antipasto di mare non fresco sia di gusto che di odore, ordinata anche una pizza col prosciutto per la bimba, il prosciutto immaginabile e sgradevole, non ho fatto casino perché era una ricorrenza, anche se me ne sono pentito non tanto per noi adulti ma per il prosciutto ricevuto per la bimba a tre anni. Da evitare..... Cmq ci sono stato il 30 maggio alle ore 20.0 giusto per non nascondermi e dare un idea di chi sono...

18/08/2024: Nothing to say about the first and second courses. But the definition of "pizza" needs to be revised a lot. The latter was totally raw, the flavor of the mozzarella was quite questionable, the dough was "biscuit" and it was clear that the oven was not clean as the lower part of the pizza was stained black. And it was definitely not overcooking. The waiting times were extremely long. I expected much more reading reviews and word of mouth.

28/05/2024: Very generous small hot appetizer, among other things recommended by a waiter who recommended the small one, given the portion. Delicious and super seasoned pizza, naturally leavened and very digestible. The only flaw, I love draft beer, it was listed on the menu but not available. Not brand new but pleasant environment.

19/05/2024: Ottimo primo e ottimo secondo, abbondante e non tanto caro, lo consiglio per le famiglie. Il posto è piccolino e vecchiotto ma ben funzionante, ne vale la pena

20/04/2024: I had read the various reviews, they seemed good... Mhaaa... I actually ate and left the worst pizza I have ever seen and tasted, yes because even seeing it was impressive... there was nothing to take, literally inedible... Otherwise the mussel soup was excellent...I'm sorry, I very rarely give negative reviews..

17/04/2024: We ate the pizza and the hot appetizer, there were 3 of us and the pizza was really good and very digestible.... because those who are lactose intolerant also make lactose-free pizza, the friendly waiter, the only flaw is that there is only one waiter who does everything but very fast waiting times in 10 bar 20 minutes the place is very welcoming I recommend it and I will happily return

06/08/2024: Lovely place, surrounded by greenery, excellent food and excellent service. Rooms with air conditioning and TV. A few steps from Caltagirone, a city absolutely worth visiting. Experience to be repeated.
