25/10/2025: Of the appetizers, only the caponata was good, but serving an appetizer consisting of filleted red mullet, a meatball each, and yesterday's bread isn't an appetizer. The pasta with stale pistachios and shrimp... no, I'll revise the recipe.

25/08/2025: A fish-based dinner that was subpar to say the least, specifically strozzapreti with eggplant and swordfish that smelled unpleasant, and paccheri with red shrimp. A total disappointment.

10/02/2026: Low-quality meat with a putrid aftertaste, so not even fresh, very high prices and zero cleanliness. A good overhaul of everything would be good before people end up in hospital for poisoning or something else...

04/01/2026: The sandwich isn't bad; they don't know the difference between pulled pork and a meat burger. Misleading advertising, as is the waiter's response. They pass off Chianina as pulled pork, but it isn't. I pay 3 euros per person for a rickety, torn table. The prices are like those of a restaurant, but it isn't. It's a shame; I had high expectations for this place, but they weren't met.

30/01/2026: Everything was delicious. I tried both the pizza and the baguette, which were truly exceptional. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone.

04/12/2025: A restaurant in the center of town with plenty of seating, including outside. Good service and a warm welcome from the manager. Recommended, especially for special occasions. Decent pizza, especially with the dough, but good toppings.

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

24/02/2026: We booked through The Fork, which confirmed the reservation correctly, and when we arrived at the restaurant, they told us it was actually full and there was no room. Of course, the waiter who spoke to us was kind and apologized for not letting us know there was actually no room, but there were five of us with a three-year-old daughter, and this made us uncomfortable.

19/02/2026: A very beautiful and elegant venue, the food is truly delicious. You can taste the chef's passion in every dish. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. I'd like to especially thank the waiter, whose kindness and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. Well done everyone!

07/12/2025: The food is good, as always. Reasonable prices and large pizzas. The tables are packed, with no room to move and impossible to talk. It was certainly a Saturday night, but there are some things you can do to make the evening more enjoyable.

29/11/2025: Outrageous to say the least, I ordered through Just Eat (with a free coupon), but an hour before my order was supposed to arrive, they canceled it due to THEIR technical issue, and at that point, the free coupon was completely lost! I called and was told they had a connection problem and that I could order over the phone if I wanted, but that I wouldn't be eligible for any discount. A reputable restaurant would have given me a discount (the value of a Margherita) to make up for THEIR problem. I hope the only response to this post is an APOLOGY!

13/01/2026: BEWARE, CRIMINALS!! Pizza, drink and dessert for 6 people cost me 1400EUR : ( We went there for lunch on the spur of the moment on a friends-and-family trip to Sicily, sadly without checking any online reviews first. The pizzas were actually great and the waiter was also excellent, a near carbon-copy of Robert De Nero in both look and personality. Tragically for us, he was also an excellent scam artist putting us at ease through the whole meal so when it came to paying he somehow managed to charge us over £1,400 Euro without me realising even though I could have sworn I looked at the amount on the screen before paying with a card (which I have since put a daily max limit on...). Perhaps he had a screen overlay or something like that. On our return I realised the massive overcharge. Needless to say I tried contacting them without any reply. I also can't get any money back from Wise/Visa as I didn't have a copy of the receipt with what the actual amount should have been even though I had a photo of us six people there showing the food which obviously couldn't possibly have come to that amount. I.e. a VERY expensive life lesson. One of the other waiters had a necklace with a bullet pendant. God only knows what those crooks get up to outside the tourist season. Perhaps we got off lightly compared to others that cross their path...

23/11/2025: Cold night, sat inside had a pasta, light pistachio sauce with breadcrumbs and a couple glasses of wine, I have a tomato allergy so my pasta choices are often bland, a lot of pizza on the menu. Service was attentive and entertaining, Manuel was ‘charming’. Interior has a Midcentury vibe.

28/02/2026: I got a kebab pizza with yogurt sauce, a supermarket kebab that tastes like nothing, the liquid yogurt sauce overflowed and soaked the whole box, for 8 euros it's not what I expect

15/10/2025: They have karaoke on Saturday nights. The staff is very friendly. Their seasoned focaccia is excellent. Excellent value for money.

06/09/2025: Nice place, especially popular on Saturday nights. The only downside is the wait: the pizza arrived about 40 minutes after ordering.

07/11/2025: The pizza is good, but on Saturdays and holidays it's a little burnt on the edges, perhaps because they sell more pizzas these days and they turn the heat up a little higher...otherwise everything's fine.

24/02/2026: JOAN'S FOOD REVIEW A group of friends from Torelló went. A very charming restaurant; we ate on the terrace, facing the sea. The €25 set menu included coffee, drinks were extra, and bread was also extra. First course: spaghetti with seafood, delicious, but a touch of pepper was a bit too much for me. Second course: mixed fried fish, very tasty.
