25/06/2026: I walked in, ordered, and was immediately asked to leave because I had a Monster that I hadn't even opened. There was no sign at the entrance, no advance warning, just a brusque request to leave. I understand that every business has its own rules, but a little courtesy and advance notice wouldn't hurt. I won't be returning. Terrible service, same with the atmosphere. (By the way, the Monster wasn't even served inside the establishment.)

16/05/2026: Excellent pizzas, delicious dough, flavorful, super friendly, professional, and fast staff. Very quiet atmosphere. A place that deserves much more, deserves the line outside, double and triple shifts, given that it's become difficult to find good pizza with good service in Palermo. Instead, Palermitans always choose to go to the same "famous" places where you pay a lot, the food is mediocre, and you get terrible service from inexperienced people with no desire to work. I finally enjoyed a nice, relaxing evening where I ate well, paid a fair price, and received excellent service, without ruining my evening! Thank you, never change!

07/07/2026: Terrible service and not much to say, a mind-blowing wait (with so many empty tables), plus tonight was a great experience, but a cockroach on a tourist. SHAME!

06/07/2026: We booked a table for 11 people a week in advance. Half an hour before arrival, we called to warn them of a possible 10-minute delay. No problem. We arrived at the pizzeria right on time, but they couldn't find our reservation. We were told they didn't accept reservations for 11 people... too bad they had just welcomed a group of 10... it was definitely our table. No sign of assistance or apology, just rudeness and a lack of professionalism. Absolutely to be avoided.

19/08/2026: Very nice location. Unfortunately, the service was poor, with long waits even though the place wasn't busy. The pizzas were good, though. The dessert was a sore point. We ordered a cannoli, which arrived half-filled with warm, runny ricotta. Inedible. We pointed this out, and despite everything, it ended up on our bill (anywhere else they wouldn't have charged for it), along with a bottle of sparkling water we hadn't ordered. We paid anyway without objecting.

07/08/2026: Terrible experience!!! At the waiters' urging, we ordered two glasses of wine for three to get a free bottle of a promoted wine, at the advertised price of €6.50 per glass. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the price (which online was €11 per bottle...), which magically became €8 per glass when it came time to pay, with the staff refusing to open the bottle they'd promoted so much. The staff were surly, deceitful, uncoordinated, and overbearing, constantly harassing the table, clearing away the dishes and keeping an eye on us. Very slow service for mediocre food for the price: the swordfish rolls were dry, tasting only of breadcrumbs, and the busiate pasta was lightly salted. Furthermore, the SIDE DISH recommended on the menu never arrived, and only when prompted did they bring a "side dish" of six zucchini circles, divided between two. At the checkout, the incompetent and arrogant staff initially calculated a price of 76 euros (incorrect), which, divided by three, equaled 36. TOURIST TRAP, AVOID!!

07/08/2026: We must start by saying that the meal was very expensive for mediocre food: the rolls were a bit dry, and the breadcrumbs were stinging, the swordfish busiate lacked salt, and the Trapani-style pesto lacked garlic—in short, it lacked flavor. The staff was confusing and surly, constantly staring at people from behind, providing false and misleading information, and were often unhelpful and unwelcoming. They tried to trick us with a special offer on Charme wine; after we bought two glasses, they prevented us from drinking the small bottle that was on sale (we're tourists and didn't have corkscrews with us, and we weren't told that it wouldn't be possible to drink it at the table and that we'd be forced to carry it around the city). They then tried to charge us 8 euros per glass at the register instead of 6.50 as the waiter had told us. At the register, they also told us that 76 euros divided by 3 equals 36 (pay attention to the receipt and the prices at the register). Furthermore, the service was very slow (we waited at least half an hour for three dishes). The menu stated that both the shrimp and the rolls would come with a house side dish (zucchini or fries), yet they never arrived. After requesting them, they only brought one small plate of zucchini instead of two, and late to boot, rudely telling my friend "Don't worry, it's coming" three times (and, I repeat, both didn't arrive either, and they pretended we were making it up). Avoid this experience; it's a touristy place.

26/07/2026: Very crowded place, good pizza, but a two-hour wait and terrible service. The pizzas arrived after two hours, without clearing the table of appetizers and bottles of drinks we'd had during the two-hour wait; we had to clear the table ourselves because the pizzas were overwhelming the dirty plates. The waiters were unfriendly and rude.

05/06/2026: A definite recommendation in Racalmuto! We've ordered from Il Carretto several times now and are absolutely thrilled every time! The food is delicious and the quality of the ingredients is simply top-notch. We've also enjoyed a drink there; the atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Plus, the prices are really fair. If you're in Racalmuto and looking for truly great food and excellent service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be ordering again! Grazie mille! 🍕🍷

09/06/2026: Excellent pizza, truly delicious, and crispy fried food, clearly made with fresh, high-quality oil. However, due to the large number of guests, we had dinner at 11:00 PM with pizzas (pizza rounds). We adults resisted, but the kids less so. It's a shame, because, as I repeat, the food was impeccable.

14/08/2026: There was a long wait, both initially for menus/table setting and for the pizzas to arrive. The pizzas were quite good and well-cooked. Another negative was the service, as when they brought the drinks, they didn't ask who owned them and placed them haphazardly on the table. Otherwise, it's located in a good area of ​​Sciacca and fairly central.

14/08/2026: They boast of having a pizza master. The pizza was inedible. The pizza should be 30 to 33 cm. Instead, the pizza was 28 cm at most. The mini pizza was almost nonexistent. Raw and poorly rolled out. Decent service. One good thing was the drinks were nice and cold. Otherwise, absolutely nothing. Be wary of the photos.

13/08/2026: Went to this restaurant on a whim, it was empty but the atmosphere was lovely. The service was great. The food was delicious. We didn’t look at their reviews before coming and after leaving we were quite surprised to see many negative reviews! I wouldn’t let that stop you from going to this restaurant even if it’s just for a drink.

12/08/2026: We had dinner this evening, the food was overall decent (except for the pasta for the children) but the service was catastrophic, the dishes did not arrive together, even the pasta for the children arrived after about 40 minutes, then the cutlery was missing (they brought it after we raised our voices, obviously the food was already cold) I do not recommend it

07/08/2026: I'm giving one star because it's the minimum, otherwise I'd give it below zero. AWFUL service. We had a reservation for 5 at 8:30 PM. We arrived, they brought us still water, and we waited over an hour for our pizza (I should point out) without having asked for appetizers, so we expected them to be quick... At 9:45 PM, nothing had arrived yet, and after countless requests to the waiters (who are very evasive with customers), they didn't know what to say... in the meantime, they had served about thirty people with takeout pizzas. At 10 PM, we decided to get up and leave, and they still didn't know what to say. Shameful and humiliating is an understatement. One thing is certain: I will never return.

27/06/2026: Excellent food, from pizza slices to arancini to nuggets—in short, a quick and diverse offering that caters to everyone, but above all, with quality ingredients. I highly recommend it. There's also a large free parking lot across the street, along with a municipal park with a playground. Overall, an ideal option, especially for families with children.
