27/04/2025: Finding ourselves for a weekend in Punta Secca, the lady who rented us the room pointed us to this pizzeria... total disappointment. Unfortunately, the pizza was almost inedible. The service 4 and the location too dated. But it would have been nothing if at least the service and the pizza had been at least discreet. The chips arrived after almost half an hour because they were forgotten. My partner's pizza, with seafood, watery and soft, inedible... then I don't know if they were relatives... the lady who took the lead was sitting chatting with these gentlemen, without caring about the service and the customers, the waiter was chatting with a table of kids and we were waiting for someone to come and ask us if we wanted anything else or the bill. Anyway, I'm sorry to give very low ratings. Nicoll

21/09/2024: Se passi da Ustica devi provarlo. Locale unico vista mare. Pesce cucinato bene. Da segnalare tra gli antipasti polpettine di pesce in agrodolce e il polpo grigliato su vellutata di patate. Menu con una scelta limitata ma tutto ricercato e di ottima qualità. Consigliato.

30/05/2025: Restaurant in the middle of the center of Scicli, UNESCO heritage, beautiful village. Very good food, simple dishes but well done. Owner and waiters very kind and friendly, compliments aside for the ability to present dishes and customs related to typical festivals that aroused my curiosity. Excellent meat and fish, accompanied by very good wines. The final dessert was the highlight of the evening: teste di turco with traditional cream (lemon) or hazelnut cream, connected to the feast of the Madonna delle Milizie, shame we couldn't attend the celebration that started the next day. We'll make up for it!

28/05/2025: Absolutely one of the best trattorias we have encountered in Italy. Very friendly and professional service. The trattoria is located on a small street, it is difficult to find. The place is very charming, the essence of Italy. You just have to pay attention to the opening hours, on the internet they are much earlier. After arriving at around 6 pm, it turned out that the pizza oven was not yet heated. It is turned on at 7 pm. You could order other dishes, just not baked in the oven. However, the staff tried, turned on the oven a little earlier and around 7 pm we got absolutely one of the best pizzas we have eaten in Italy. I do not plan to return to Sicily, but if it ever happens, I will definitely come here. The atmosphere is unique.

An octopus salad, two prawns and a grilled fish no more than two hundred grams I spent 67 euros. I can say since I often buy fish that what I ate in a good fishmonger I would not have spent more than 15 euros at a rough estimate. I leave the considerations on the price to you. I don't think I will ever recommend it.

17/06/2025: We had a traditional focaccia and four arancini, which, for goodness sake, were good. The problem is that the waitress came to ask us for our order almost an hour after we had sat down, the arancini arrived after the same amount of time and they had forgotten about the focaccia (bringing it another half hour later). For me, a service like that is one-off because it lacks organization. The absence of people or various and sundry disservices should not be the customer's problem. A piece of advice: when the wait is so long or you have problems, offer a portion of chips so the wait is passed instead of making excuses.

05/06/2025: Summary: we sit at a wobbly table (TOO wobbly, it was really swinging). They take our orders after half an hour because there was only one waitress who had to manage 3 rooms. After another half an hour they bring us the rustici but tell us right then that the mozzarella in carrozza that we had asked for half an hour before was not there (they could have also warned us before and made us change it for something else half an hour before). However, on the other hand, they brought us the cold beer right away so it had time to warm up. The arancini were very good overall but they were mushy.
