06/01/2026: We booked after consulting the menu online on the restaurant's website, but when it came time to order, we realized the prices didn't match the paper menu. Despite this, the starters were bland, and the grilled fish had an unpleasant aftertaste. Without missing a beat, when it came time to pay the bill, we realized that the table service and a starter, included on the menus, had been added separately (about €25 more). Fortunately, the owner acknowledged the mistake and refunded the money. I hope a similar situation never happens again.

01/01/2026: All I can say is that my pizza was very tasty and the service was very friendly and courteous.

08/03/2026: We wanted to celebrate an evening with friends, but we had to wait over an hour for a simple pizza after the waiter told us the pizzas were coming out. Never again!!!

23/12/2025: I was staying at the hotel across the street with my family this summer, and we spent ages looking for somewhere to eat. When we stumbled upon this restaurant, we were thrilled. The pizza and the various fries are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere in the back is really lovely, and you can feel completely at ease sitting there. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. It's a fantastic restaurant, and if I ever go back to Gela, I'll definitely come back here. I hope the restaurant maintains its high quality, and I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: Good things always happen by chance. This is one of the few good ones. On a special Saturday evening, traveling to Gela from the province of Ragusa, we found ourselves booking at this place based on the reviews we'd seen. They warmly welcomed us despite the late hour (10:00 PM), and we enjoyed an excellent pizza and drank an excellent beer. The pizza in the photo (mine) is a pizza that contrasts sweet and savory, seemingly simple, refined in reality, and not as banal as it seems. To accompany this pizza (made with whole wheat dough), I ordered an excellent beer, a bit drier and more bitter, which pairs wonderfully with the contrast of the pizza's ingredients. Will we be back? Yes! P.S.: One of the most digestible pizzas I've ever eaten, one of the few I can remember that didn't leave me clinging to a bottle of water all night. Kudos to the staff!

02/02/2026: La Tavernetta in Catania is a fantastic place. A pleasant atmosphere and top-notch quality, but the real added value are Riccardo and Salvo, two exceptional bartenders: knowledgeable, fast, and always very kind. We'll definitely be back!

01/02/2026: One star, otherwise I won't write a review. Avoid this place. The staff is inadequate. Total disorganization. We had a reservation for about thirty people, but when we arrived there was no choice. Some people didn't get to eat. They brought a platter for six people, which we had to split among ten. Of course, they charged us for ten platters. An experience to forget.
