14/08/2026: A lovely little café tucked almost around the corner from the main street. We had spaghetti carbonara, a mixed fish platter, and chicken breast, and everything was delicious! 🍝🐟🍗 The waiters didn’t speak much English, but communication wasn’t a problem at all. They were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the service was excellent. 😊 A great place for a tasty meal and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by! ⭐️

14/08/2026: It was delicious! We had the mussel soup and caprese salat as a starter, so good. So many flavours, lots of mussels and a great salat. As a main course we had the grilled swordfish, big stake, good grilled and a perfect size and we had the entrecote steak. The steak was perfectly cooked, very tender and so great in the taste. The tiramisu we had as a dessert was also perfect. Soft, lil sweet and such a nice feeling in the mouth. Two days ago we had a late night snack pizza from here, we had plenty other pizza from around the island, but we both prefer this one as one of the best we had so far! Nothing to complain!

29/06/2026: recommendation! a bar along the main road, a great place to take a break with an excellent espresso and helpful staff (who don't speak English, but do their best to make you feel comfortable).

20/08/2026: Beautiful, I imagine even delicious, but for us it was a terrible experience, bordering on absurd: two of us arrived at 9:30 PM, and they told us to come back at 10:30 PM for the "second sitting," with no need to book. We returned at 10:30 PM as agreed, and first they told us there was no room. Then—after recounting the conversation from an hour earlier—they sent us to a dining room colleague who "fairly warned" us that there would be a wait (there were barely a dozen tables occupied), then told us the kitchen was closed. Basically, we wasted an hour... and the chance to dine at any other restaurant in the area. Unspeakable.

15/05/2026: As a pizza eater, I can say that La Fornace is an exceptional pizzeria: quality ingredients, friendly staff, and super-good pizzas. I highly recommend it. My regards to Mr. Filippo Lo Iacono, a wonderful person.

26/06/2026: We went here with a group of friends and had a great time! Two of us had the meat, a veal rib and a tagliata, and they were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The others had pizzas, and they were truly special: the dough was incredibly light and well-risen, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh and top-quality. The place is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back!

12/08/2026: I should start by saying that I had been to this place about three years ago, but I'd say it's lost a lot, starting with the rude, unprofessional wait staff. When we asked why the drinks were hot, they laughed in our faces, making fun of us the whole evening, looking us in the face and laughing. They got all the pizza orders wrong. The place is really nice and welcoming, with a truly lovely view of the Timpa, but unfortunately, with staff like this, it loses a lot. The pizza is good overall, the drinks are all warm, from water to beer, including the liqueur, and the prices are ridiculously high. I had the prosciutto substituted for mortadella on my pizza, and I paid an extra 2.50. I repeat, it's not an extra charge because my pizza included prosciutto, but since I don't like it, I said it can be replaced with mortadella on the bill. In the end, I found 2.50 for mortadella, and that's all.

10/08/2026: A wonderful experience, excellent food, and friendly staff. We booked and in less than an hour we had dinner, with a splendid view!

16/06/2026: I stopped by by chance, since the pizza place I usually order closes at 10 PM. I ordered two pizzas to eat there and two beers. One was off-menu and the price wasn't explained, but I later paid for it. I paid €27, and €10.50 for the pizza with the mysterious price. Extremely expensive for a takeout pizzeria. The guys must have thought I wasn't from the area and wanted to raise the prices. That doesn't mean I'm not Sicilian and don't know the prices. Plus, I was thirsty the rest of the evening. Never again.

04/09/2025: Very nice restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We even got to chatting after closing time. I had the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and the portion was very generous and tasty. My wife was very pleased with the seafood salad and shrimp cocktail. The almond parfait was delicious. Highly recommended.

24/06/2026: A pleasant evening with colleagues, Excellent appetizers, excellent pizza, and good service. With background music. We'll be back.

16/06/2026: We came from the Hotel Olimpo, a nice spot for the beach. However, the staff don't seem to enjoy their work. I think the girl behind the bar, in particular, is fed up with it🤨. It's also a bit odd that you aren't allowed to choose which sunbed to take. We only had lunch here, paninis. Fine, but not really melted well.
