04/03/2026: The food was okay – the price for Palermo: well... But the absolute worst thing here is the entire service: we came from the hotel across the street and were looking forward to a nice evening, but we were treated so terribly – we're just surprised they let us in at all... all the Italians who came were treated more kindly than us... If a restaurant like this were run in Germany, with such rudeness, it would be shut down immediately... absolutely awful... we would never come back here... I much prefer some of the street food places here: incredibly friendly service... but never again to Tondo.

04/03/2026: The food was very good, the restaurant and the atmosphere were bright and welcoming, but the service was quite the opposite. We immediately felt unwelcome. There was no smile when we ordered or when we were served. After our meal, the staff even subtly made us feel like we should leave as quickly as possible to clear the table. Unfortunately, this ruined our entire evening 😩 There's definitely room for improvement in how they treat their guests.

07/10/2025: The pizza is excellent, I think among the best in Modica. Contrary to other negative reviews about the service, there's no table service, but that's fine. It's not a restaurant, it's a takeaway pizzeria that allows you to eat in.

18/01/2026: A pizzeria nestled in a pleasant space-time fold where the architecture, ambiance, style, and prices are easily recognizable. Lost in the Nebrodi mountains one evening in search of food, we call around several places, and all politely turn us away, except La Pergola, which, despite being about to close, offers to wait for us. We fly to the charming "Pearl of the Nebrodi," Sinagra, and slip inside, where a now-steaming fireplace warms us while we wait for our pizzas. Simple, honest (and delicious) pizzas. We thank them, pay little, and happily leave, taking the leftovers with us in a designer box. Recommended!

06/11/2025: Simply excellent. Nine of us went to La Pergola for lunch, and everyone was extremely satisfied. We opted for the house menu, which includes a generous mixed appetizer, two first courses, and a mixed grill, including drinks. The quality of the food is very high, and everything is fresh and authentic; you can tell it's prepared with love and care. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

01/03/2026: Terrible experience, disrespectful owners, we spent €600 and they didn't even offer to pay for the liqueurs, burnt pizza, and without salt and love, I'm sorry, we will never return

01/03/2026: Unfortunately, there were several things that didn't go well this evening...burnt pizza, delays in delivering drinks, especially water, an exorbitant final bill, and finally, as the icing on the cake...we were only offered one free amaro out of seven...not a very nice gesture after hosting 23 people and paying handsomely... I don't think I'll be back...

15/02/2026: Whether the food is good or not becomes irrelevant if you're treated poorly, have to wait two hours to be served, and are crammed like chickens among a thousand people. This place only wants to make money, and doesn't care about its customers or its employees. A negative experience.

15/02/2026: A terrible experience, to be avoided. We showed up and were told a table would be available soon. After more than twenty minutes, they repeated the same thing. After half an hour, they finally seated us at a table too small for the number of people we were, right next to the entrance door, squeezed between other tables and in the cold draft from the door. After that, it took them exactly an hour and a half to bring our orders (simple pizzas and a mixed salad), despite our multiple requests for explanations, promptly answered with generic apologies. Finally, at 11:10 PM, the food arrived, after we had already lost our appetite. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. The service was definitely terrible, bordering on decency and respect. For all this, they gave us a €5 discount. In short, if you want to be uncomfortable, eat almost two hours late, feel cheated, and eat an average pizza and salad, this place is for you!

18/01/2026: The pizza is good, and after you order, the service is fast, but beforehand there are senseless waits, confusion, and absolute chaos. You can't talk because of the noise. Space is cramped, waiters and customers are jammed, children are running around, people are queuing at the entrance to get seats, only getting in the way of those already seated and barely making it to the bathroom. Of course, it's always busy, and it's better not to need one. On Saturday evening, takeout is available until 8:30 PM, for sure, because we arrived at that time and people were leaving with pizzas and family members, thus further chaos. Some people complained that even though they sat down early, they were waiting to take their order while others who arrived later were already starting to eat. Significant disorganization. Too bad. I repeat, the pizzas are good, and if the service were managed a little better, it would be a good alternative pizzeria. Mine is a criticism, but at the same time, it's primarily meant as advice. I understand that the business has been around for a while, so you could continue like this regardless of what I'm writing. Feel free to... I haven't been here in a while, and it wasn't like this before. Good luck.

18/09/2025: I was very happy here two years ago. But this time... I was given a seat by the window on the highchairs, saying I only wanted a drink. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the staff's attention. After 15 minutes of no attention, I had no choice but to leave the shop. There won't be a second chance this year.

12/10/2025: We come here every day to buy baked goods during our vacation. So far, we've enjoyed everything, and we think the prices are perfectly reasonable. The staff is always friendly, even when we have to communicate with each other using gestures. We don't understand all the bad reviews. We love coming here; my daughter is always happy when they offer a croissant with pistachio cream!
