08/08/2026: A truly negative experience. The most absurd thing was that no one informed us that the kitchen would close at 10:30 PM. We arrived and calmly ordered. After we had our appetizers, they took our orders for our first courses. Only after waiting a bit did we learn that the kitchen was about to close and that it was no longer possible to prepare our first courses. I find it completely absurd to take an order for dishes that they no longer intend to serve. It would have been enough to inform us immediately of the kitchen's closing time, allowing us to decide whether or not to order. The experience was further aggravated by the attitude of the blonde woman at the cash register, whom we found particularly unpleasant, rude, and unhelpful. In a situation like this, we would have expected at least a modicum of courtesy and understanding, but instead her attitude made the experience even more unpleasant. The service absolutely needs improvement, and customer communication is practically nonexistent. We won't be returning!

17/08/2026: We recently bought a house in Castellana and tried this as our first resturant. We were very welcomed, the food was amazing and excellent value. Our italian isn't very good bit the service provided made it easy to communicate. Highly reccommend.

09/08/2026: Terrible service. We booked at 9:45 PM and nothing arrived until midnight. After several complaints, a salad and a plate of chips arrived. It took half an hour for the mussel appetizer to arrive before the chips arrived. At the tables that came later, most likely because they were friends, everything arrived as quickly as possible. In the end, we got up, paid for what arrived, and canceled the rest since it never arrived. Awful evening without having eaten.

Avoid and report this place. Even though we co-owned it and told them it was illegal, they didn't give us our money back. I repeat: the price wasn't written beforehand, nor was it communicated beforehand. €20 for a pizza, not even in Milan's Duomo. Shame!

28/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us. Unfortunately, it was the worst restaurant we ate during our two weeks in Sicily. The service was friendly, but the food was disappointing: the green salad was a whole head of iceberg lettuce, coarsely chopped, the bread was completely burnt, and the pasta was bland. Some of the prices on the bill were higher than on the menu. And €6 for a glass of basic house wine was practically a rip-off. We weren't treated so shabbily anywhere else. What a shame.

I tried the melon jelly desserts, and they were simply exceptional, fresh, and authentic in flavor. Friendly staff, fair prices, and a warm welcome. I've heard the pizza and pasta dishes are also very good, and I'll definitely try them again. A must-see if you're passing through!

The second pizza was the same, but with zucchini of the same thickness and texture as the eggplant. What can I say? A terrible experience for an undeserved 36 euros.
