18/08/2025: A nice place with a lovely atmosphere and a beautiful view. The only drawback is that you can't get there by car; you have to climb a few steps, which isn't easy for older people. Tasty food.

08/06/2025: Il ristorante è ubicato ai piedi della scalinata di Caltagirone, patrimonio dell'UNESCO. È ubicato all'interno dello storico palazzo Reburdone. Ho avuto modo di apprezzare le prelibatezze culinarie in occasione di un evento familiare. L'estro dello chef e la bontà del cibo, nonché la professionalità del personale mi hanno fatto vivere bene ogni momento. Pesce freschissimo e servizio impeccabile. Consiglio a quanti lo desiderano di fare esperienza del ricco menù che lo chef propone.
08/06/2025: Nel ristorante la scala di Caltagirone, ho festeggiato la mia Cresima con amici e parenti, mi sono trovato benissimo, il menù scelto e consigliato dal proprietario era veramente buono. Tutti gli invitati sono rimasti contenti della bontà del cibo e dei servizi offerti.

The cuisine is simply extraordinary: dishes crafted with attention to detail, top-quality ingredients, and flavors that captivate from the first bite to the last.
Beyond the quality of the food, what makes Gulliver truly special is the service. The wait staff was impeccable: courteous, attentive, and always ready to satisfy every need with discretion and professionalism. A close-knit team that works with passion, and it shows.
A special thanks goes to Paola Schembri, the manager, who welcomed us with great kindness and made us feel immediately at home. Her discreet yet attentive presence added an extra touch to the experience.
A place you'll gladly return to, not only for the excellent cuisine, but also for the humanity and care the entire team devotes to their guests.
Highly recommended.

17/08/2025: They managed to get a vegetarian to eat a calzone with ham...making her feel sick for the whole evening!!!!
After repeating the ingredients (tomato, mushrooms, and mozzarella) to the cashier three times, she gave the wrong order and managed to ruin dinner for all of us!
Furthermore, they rudely claimed that they make calzones that way and there's nothing they can do about it...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

16/08/2025: What a gem! Amazing seafood. The anti pasta alone included 11 different dishes. The meal includes both vino rosso and vino bianco wine. So much food was enjoyed by all. Impeccably clean with outstanding service. Will be eating here again for sure! Grazie mille!
14/08/2025: The atmosphere is nice, but the service is pretty poor. We ordered at 9:45 PM, and the appetizer arrived at 10:10 PM. I ordered a pizza, but I decided to wait because it hadn't arrived at 11 PM.

04/08/2025: Ci siamo fermati per uno spuntino veloce durante un tour in motonave. Abbiamo preso alcune focacce ed erano buone ma niente di particolare.
18/06/2025: Three-night stay in a hotel that immediately projects you into the atmosphere of Salina. Easily reachable on foot from the port, in just 6 minutes via a slightly uphill road. (this could be an inconvenience for elderly guests or those with mobility difficulties.)
Upon arrival you are greeted with cordiality, fresh water with lemon that makes you forget the small climb and if you arrive early compared to the agreed time you can use the swimming pool surrounded by the typical Mediterranean garden.
The rooms in perfect Aeolian style equipped with air conditioning and mini bar, small patio equipped with hammock, top cleaning.
Sweet breakfast with croissants and homemade cakes and cold cuts as regards the savoury.
The reception staff are all exceptional and ready to give you directions and advice and above all they do not seem bored or lazy.
A special thanks to Claudia for her availability.
Lastly, lost a bracelet ... I was called because it was found in the room.

13/08/2025: It seems that tourists are less well served here than the locals: too much ice in the aperitifs, seafood salads without flavor, pasta with vongole without wine (even though wine was one of the ingredients on the menu), barely grilled squid without flavor or condiments... to be avoided
