12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

11/01/2026: We were invited to a birthday party from Catania and found ourselves guests at this restaurant, and I must say it was truly well-maintained, with a beautifully landscaped garden at the entrance making a striking impression. We were there for dinner, so many details were hard to see, but from what I could see, the impact was positive. The staff was attentive to ensuring everything was provided, attentive, and helpful to the guests. We took part in a pizza round, and I must say the pizzas were truly well-made, well-cooked, full of toppings, and delicious. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean despite the crowds.

10/01/2026: I celebrated my wedding at La Villa del Casale, and it was a simply extraordinary experience! Everything was impeccable, meticulously crafted, and exceeded every expectation. A heartfelt thank you to Danilo, the chef, a truly helpful and highly professional person who guided me through the truly amazing menu. My relatives still shower me with compliments on the quality and deliciousness of the dishes, but the credit goes entirely to the staff, who worked with passion and expertise. Being from Solarino, one often thinks one has to travel far to find a worthy venue for a large event, but experience has shown me that Solarino truly excels in cuisine and hospitality. I recommend La Villa del Casale to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

23/09/2025: Beautiful hotel on the beachfront in Selinunte. A few minutes by car or walk from the Temple Park, and parking for 4-5 spaces is available on the street above, very convenient. The staff is lovely and helpful. One small drawback: the night bar is a few rooms down, making it difficult for a restful night.

21/09/2025: A beautiful place to relax, located right on the beach. The staff, both at the hotel and the lifeguards on the beach, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good, with a wide selection.

14/12/2025: A giant pizzeria!!! The two brothers, Enzo and Salvo, and their team are always super efficient! Very tasty pizza, sandwiches with a variety of fresh toppings, a very comfortable atmosphere, and always helpful and friendly staff!

11/03/2026: An experience I'll never repeat. To start, they made the wrong sandwich three times—a simple classic sandwich with cooked ham, mozzarella, and tomato. The only changes I asked for were a green salad and pizza bread instead of regular bread. When it arrived, I realized with the first bite that the bread underneath was completely wet, which shouldn't be the case, since it's supposed to have just come out of the pizza oven. It also arrived way before my cousin's crepe, and they made us eat it separately. The crepe itself was also a disappointment: the béchamel sauce was lumpy, and when reheating it, because it wasn't made fresh, they burned it! When I pointed this out to the waiter, he could only make a sorry face, period. That was it! We didn't have a good night at all... It's my experience and it should be considered as such. Everyone does and thinks what they want. I repeat, NEVER AGAIN.

08/03/2026: Solleone was a wonderful and pleasant surprise, a sandwich shop and more, because here you can find everything, from panini to titbits to piadinas, platters, pizza, burgers, and so much more. We tried an appetizer of fresh potatoes with bacon and cheese fondue, a panini, and a burger, which were really good. The place is cute, the staff is kind, helpful, and very quick in preparing the dishes. We will definitely be back.

11/02/2026: The menu requires a lot of explanation because it uses terms not familiar to everyone. There's a lack of coordination between the dining room and kitchen. There's a long wait to be served. The small rooms don't allow for continuous monitoring of customers.

21/02/2026: Fondachello, Mascali, CT. Via Spiaggia, 142. It was a place we hadn't heard of, and a few months ago, we wanted to try it. We had a pretty good time. The food was good and we liked it. We had a long wait, but that's almost inevitable at certain times and on certain days. In any case, we had a great evening.

30/10/2025: Good evening, I'm speaking personally because I'm genuinely tired of hearing stories and speculations about the establishment in question, the renowned pizzeria "Pizza 33." It's frequently rumored that the wait times are practically interminable; therefore, I thought it appropriate to verify the authenticity of these claims. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by the two master pizza chefs, flanked by their respective teams, named "Paky" and "Shiva." I should point out that my visit took place during the Halloween period, and I must admit that the decorations were extremely meticulous, almost theatrical. Even the wait staff were rigorously costumed, so much so that, when one of the waiters approached with my dish, I momentarily suspected an attack due to the intimidating nature of his mask. Returning to the gastronomic experience, my order dates back to October 31, 2017. Upon recent inquiries, I was told that the pizza would be ready within a period of approximately twelve centuries. However, I finally received the order dating back to 1798, thus managing to taste the long-awaited dish. The pizza was paper-thin, with crisps on top that were almost scorching hot, mozzarella obtained—according to the statement—from Mr. Mario Owitti's bakery, and sauce prepared by the expert Mrs. Annamaria Annunziata Cannoletta. After the meal, I went to the cashier to pay and immediately looked at the price list. I noticed an anomaly: I remembered for sure that the marinara pizza was priced at €3, but now it's listed at €3.50. I therefore believe I will not return to this establishment, as the prices are, in my opinion, excessive and subject to unjustified increases, a circumstance I find slightly regrettable. In closing, I would like to point out that one of my dearest friends celebrated his birthday here last summer; nevertheless, it is said that the pizzas from that event are still in the pre-baking stage.
