05/03/2026: The best pizza I've had in Sicily so far... 🤗 I had a little trouble finding my accommodation. The Swiss German-speaking owner was incredibly helpful. A very friendly person!! If I ever go back to Salemi, I'll definitely eat here again!!

27/01/2026: Having trekked through much of Italy, I was craving some good ol fashioned chicken after a sea of pork Happened upon this quiet joint in the small town of Salemi and they made my wish come true. The chicken wings were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The chicken burger was delicious with the perfect amount of sauce! 10/10 would recommend, a must visit!

02/05/2026: I'm still sitting in this historic place, I used to come with my father and I have wonderful memories, even today I can say from the service to the product to the staff everything 10!!

23/04/2026: I called to book a takeout, asking to pick up at 9:20 PM, and they said, "Perfect, no problem." I arrived to pick it up and discovered that, even though I had booked, the order was "physical" on the receipt. I waited 44 minutes for half a chicken. I think it would be at least CORRECT to specify this option when ordering over the phone—obviously, I wouldn't have ordered. They're very busy, so they're not interested in being serious about this. The chicken was okay.

25/04/2026: The restaurant isn't very visible because it's located in a very narrow alley. Everything is delicious, the pizzas are excellent, and the salads are flavorful! The service is top-notch, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

16/04/2026: Nice place; we only had hot appetizers and pizzas. The pizza dough was light and easy to digest, with generous toppings, and the smoked cannoli was a blast. Friendly and attentive service.

27/09/2025: The Gnocchi and stuffed sea bass were no less than perfect. Host was very kind, we came with a baby and he asked if they have anything for kids and he asked us what do you want us to make for her and we will do, which was impressive and kind.

22/05/2025: The best! I went to Gelsonero in Catania because I had been to the one in Savoca this summer and I fell in love with it! I must say that this place is also taken care of in the smallest details! Delicate, exquisite and well-presented food. Discreet and always prompt service. I absolutely recommend it!

25/04/2026: The food was very good, except for the side dish: the potatoes were inedible, not fresh, and had some "bad" parts (dark spots). I wouldn't offer them to customers when they were unpresentable!

16/02/2026: Good food and excellent pizza, although it used to be better than it is now. Located in Trapani's historic center, the prices are affordable and the atmosphere is welcoming and quaint. I recommend it.

21/03/2026: Sicily is famous not only for its stunning sea and dreamy landscapes, but also for its extraordinary cuisine. During summer vacations, it's almost natural to search for the best restaurants to sample typical local dishes. After trying several places in Noto, Ortigia, Marzamemi, and other towns, I never imagined that my absolute favorite would be La Capannina. It's a family-run trattoria, passed down from generation to generation, where passion and dedication are passed down with it. Every dish we tasted was simply exceptional: authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a cuisine that truly captivates. Even the pizza is amazing, so much so that it can compete with those of the best Neapolitan pizza makers. And then the cannoli... without a doubt the best I've ever had in Sicily: light, delicate, delicious, or perhaps indescribable, you have to try it!! A place worth the trip. I would return to Sicily just to eat at this extraordinary trattoria again.

04/06/2026: Highly recommended: raw seafood. Red prawns are top-notch... Fried fish is not recommended, as it's too greasy.

25/04/2026: The pizza was inedible. If I stuck the mozzarella on the wall, it would stay there for a month. I'll never come again. It looked like a burnt sheet of paper. The pizza chef swears and argues with his colleagues while making pizzas. Don't try it again. The pizzas are full of oil. I had to go to the bathroom all night.

18/01/2026: First time, welcoming place, pizzas nothing special, only downsides: a bit of a long wait to order and to receive the pizzas, ordered 6 pizzas only 5 arrived and after a while the other one, almost no service, no care towards the diners, they seemed disoriented.
