03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. 08/03/2026: March 8, 2026 We chose the Antica Porta di Levante restaurant because it was featured in the Slow Food guide, which has never disappointed us. This time, however, we were greatly disappointed. First of all, they forgot to include our reservation, and that wasn't a good sign. As for the food, I can say that the only dish that lived up to Slow Food standards was the hand-chopped beef tartare. The rest of the dishes were just okay and full of cooking errors. The leek flan, our other appetizer, was good but not exceptional. For our first course, we had the lasagna with fresh artichokes, which wasn't exceptional either. The béchamel sauce wasn't as soft and creamy as I'd expected, and it was also served in a very deep dish, almost a bowl, making it difficult to eat. For our second course, we had the pan-fried pigeon with roast potatoes and the rabbit. The pigeon was good but a bit dry because it was served in a metal pan, sitting on a bed of burnt potatoes that stuck to the bottom, so much so that we barely managed to eat half of it. The rabbit was also tough and stringy, with a paltry side of carrots that weren't particularly flavorful. And what can I say about the coffee crème brûlée? It tasted like a slightly runny pudding. The whole thing cost 70 euros per person. The problem isn't the cost, but the fact that the quality didn't match the price paid.

05/05/2026: It's a welcoming atmosphere, and knowing that the premises were once a tannery adds to the atmosphere. The food is excellent...the meat dishes are excellent...the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional!

16/04/2026: A private, family-friendly atmosphere, friendly and approachable owners, good food, and quick, smiling service. The pizza and ingredients are good, the sgagliozze are excellent, and the attention to gluten-free options is commendable (they have a separate fryer and oven); the gluten-free pizza was really good (the photo shows a gluten-free cacio e pepe). We celebrated a birthday this evening and had a wonderful time. We'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone craving pizza during the week, as it definitely benefits from an even more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

06/04/2026: Pizzeria with excellent food and pizza, but we were seated practically next to the entrance door with the related problems of constant coming and going, furthermore the tables were practically almost touching with no privacy, the bill was expensive, 2 euros for the cover charge for such a small place, a small plate of olives 4 euros, for two we had two pizzas, a small plate of olives, a very small plate of cheeses and two 33-pound Nastro Azzurro, paid 40 euros

26/04/2026: Intrigued by the recurring advertising, I went here for lunch with some friends on a weekday. It was a beautiful day, accompanied by good food: the peppered mussels were particularly excellent. The desserts were less convincing, but all the other courses were more than appreciated. The table service is impeccable. It's on a veranda overlooking the square, with wooden tables typical of an osteria and therefore very welcoming.

21/08/2025: The hotel faces the beach, and it's wonderful to eat in the restaurant overlooking the beach: it's almost like being on the veranda. The breakfast offered a lovely selection, with the hotel's exposure to the sun, and it's beautiful, and you can admire the sunrise while eating in the restaurant room, almost like being on the veranda. The choice and variety at lunch and dinner are more than excellent, including classic dishes with good Italian and international cuisine, as well as generous portions. Given the proximity to the sea, it's quiet, and you can sleep with the windows open without having to use the air conditioning. The owners and staff are always available, friendly, and accommodating. The really good quality/price ratio; I highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: We had dinner in the evening at this beachfront spot. The atmosphere is lovely, but it's definitely more charming during the day with a beautiful sea view. The menu features seafood and pizza. We ordered a few appetizers, including fried sardines, and then opted for a seafood risotto, which was quite flavorful and a generous portion. The pizzas were very good, with excellent dough. The desserts were beautifully presented, including the cheesecake, which was delicious. It's a shame the crème brûlée was so cold, as it should usually be warm. Friendly staff.

19/04/2026: We visited this seafood restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. The staff was attentive, helpful, and very clear in explaining the menu, making us feel immediately at ease. The seafood entrees were delicious, while the fried and roasted seafood stood out for their freshness and truly high quality. A special thank you also to those who reviewed this restaurant correctly before us: it really helped us make a safe bet. We were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, and the staff was very kind in providing a table for the cake and flowers, allowing us to take some beautiful photos. A much-appreciated gesture. Unbeatable value for money. We hope to return soon!
