24/05/2026: We had lunch today at Antico Castello di Moncalvo, and honestly, after reading some of the reviews, we were a little hesitant... but we had a great time! We ate well, everything was delicious, and the place truly deserves it. Reading some of the reviews, it almost seems like people are expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant... come on 😅 I've read complaints about some dishes arriving quickly, like the risotto. But it's normal for many restaurants to have the rice partially prepared ahead of time to accommodate the service; that doesn't mean it's bad or poorly made. We had a great lunch, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Based on our experience, we highly recommend it 😊

14/04/2026: 🇰🇷➡️ 🇮🇹 ❤️ (the best): The most delicious pizza I've ever had in Italy. The smoke aroma created by the burning firewood in the traditional wood-fired oven was also very good. It's the best. 🌩 (things that need improvement): But after about 5 minutes, the pizza becomes too damp. Is this normal? 💡 (memorable): lively atmosphere, good prosciutto, good cheese and bread. The most memorable thing was the traditional oven that burned wood and baked it. I was really satisfied.

19/03/2026: Pizza delivery: 4 times out of 4, an hour/hour and a half late, with at least two calls to the pizzeria to find out where the pizzas were, and the answer was always the same: IT'S COMING. Not even a single euro discount for the inconvenience (which is usually me, who always leaves a few euros for the guys), not even a single apology, just "IT'S COMING." This last time I called at 7 PM for 8:30 PM, and despite being well in advance, they managed to bring it to me at 9:30 PM. This will be the last time I get pizzas from you. Oh, of course, if you get takeout there, which I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND, keep the oven warm because you'll have to reheat them.

08/10/2025: If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant serving Abruzzo specialties and other typical Italian dishes, you've come to the right place! I go there very often and used to eat pizza once a week when I was a student in Turin. The best pizzas I've ever eaten in Turin! Maurizio, Gaia, and their dad, Felice, do a fantastic job; I highly recommend it!

I just know that we sat down today at 12:35, and at 12:45 (they hadn't asked us yet) we asked the owner if we could eat because we had to go to work at 1:45, and she very rudely said we had to be patient and that, among other things, today was Friday, so they were busy... Maybe some businesses think they're doing us a favor by serving us, when in reality it's the customer who is paying for a service... P.S.: the table next to us repeatedly asked for the child's pasta, which never arrived, and made it clear to us that it would be very long... (the father had finished his plate in the meantime)

26/04/2026: The atmosphere was too hot, the service was extremely slow (2 hours to bring the dinner), the food was not appealing... In short, it was really bad.

07/08/2026: I was there yesterday with a friend. We booked for 7:15 PM. The place was still empty. We sat down at the table and the very kind waiter promptly arrived. We ordered pizzas. He asked if we wanted some freshly baked farinata while we waited. Okay, we accepted. It arrived 20 minutes later (perhaps they could have already served us the pizzas at the same time). Eight slices on a small plate. At first glance, I should have said NO THANKS! Dry and burnt, so much so that when you cut it, it split like a breadstick. We tasted it, and of course, six slices were left on the plate. After 15 minutes, the waiter returned—I repeat, very kind—and said he was sorry, but I think he was already sorry when he brought it to our table. After another 20 minutes, the pizzas finally arrived. Okay, let's go pay. No one asks us anything and no one apologizes for the "inconvenience." As I left, I checked the bill: 8 euros for an inedible farinata, which I took back to the kitchen! Biblical times for a mediocre pizza. Thank you, and no more goodbyes. 24/05/2026: Today we decided to go to Cavallino Bianco in Chieri, where the food was excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere was nice, but it was very noisy. This restaurant is recommended for those who especially love meat and fish.

03/07/2026: The best restaurant in the area. A historic establishment for over 50 years. I used to go there as a child with my parents, but now I go with my children. ❤️The pizza is very good and easy to digest, with excellent ingredients, and the food deserves the same. Generous portions... kind and friendly service. I absolutely recommend it.

01/02/2026: It's a historic restaurant in Asti, but it hasn't evolved at all. The quality has significantly declined, and the space is really cramped, to the point of being, in my opinion, even dangerous in the event of an accident. The pizza, if you like it thin, isn't bad, although I find it a bit bland. The service is fast and the price is fair. Acceptable, but not worth returning to.

30/11/2025: The place is small with tables close together, they work two evening shifts, an old-school pizzeria, crispy thin pizzas without a crust cooked in a wood-fired oven, good and light, after one you'll want to eat another, fried calamari portions are not large and not the best in taste, desserts are store-bought profiteroles, panna cotta (hard) with store-bought sauces, chocolate cake with a soft center not exceptional. The white wine in a carafe is good, the red beer is good, and the prices are also good. I recommend it for eating pizza.

06/05/2026: After a long journey, we exited the highway and stopped at this restaurant late at night (11:30 PM). Despite the late hour, the staff greeted us with a smile and served us as if we were regular customers. Delicious platter of trophies! Good value for money. Thanks to the staff for their kindness!

30/04/2026: The place was very crowded, and the managers weren't expecting it. I understand everything, but if you order two pizzas, leave us sitting for an hour, and then come back to tell us afterward that the dough is finished...that's unprofessional. The waiters are polite, but it's completely disrespectful and disorganized.
