23/12/2025: How sad... from an excellent pizzeria, it's turned into a pub and bistro, like so many others. What a shame, it really wasn't needed.
31/10/2025: Soul is that unexpected bistro-style pub, with friendly and cheerful staff. Andrea, the owner, always has a smile and makes you feel at home. Excellent quality food and rich dishes, refined and truly delicious beers... highly recommended... and the evenings with live music 🍾

17/05/2026: This is my first time at this pizzeria because I wasn't familiar with the place, and I have to admit, it's good.
I saw several fish dishes go by, and they look interesting; I'll probably come back to try them.
The service wasn't the fastest, but it was quite crowded, but with company, the wait wasn't noticeable.

From the first time we visited, we found the owner to be extremely kind and friendly, and the waiters to be attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent cuisine and excellent service.

01/01/2026: Arrived almost late for lunch, a first course and dessert with a good glass of wine. Very attentive and friendly service, a warm welcome, delicious food, and a wide selection from the à la carte menu. Prices were in line with the quality offered.
17/11/2025: The guy came to take the order, he made us say what we wanted and didn't write anything down, then he told us, can you repeat it and once again he didn't write anything down, then I was still eating the second course "I was finishing the chips and he started clearing the table, well, the waiter is really not his job.

14/09/2025: Good pizza, very easy to digest, in a very noisy environment. Fresh porcini mushrooms are available at the moment, but I haven't tried them. Pizza dough is available in whole wheat or grain options.

01/02/2026: It's a historic restaurant in Asti, but it hasn't evolved at all. The quality has significantly declined, and the space is really cramped, to the point of being, in my opinion, even dangerous in the event of an accident. The pizza, if you like it thin, isn't bad, although I find it a bit bland. The service is fast and the price is fair. Acceptable, but not worth returning to.
30/11/2025: The place is small with tables close together, they work two evening shifts, an old-school pizzeria, crispy thin pizzas without a crust cooked in a wood-fired oven, good and light, after one you'll want to eat another, fried calamari portions are not large and not the best in taste, desserts are store-bought profiteroles, panna cotta (hard) with store-bought sauces, chocolate cake with a soft center not exceptional. The white wine in a carafe is good, the red beer is good, and the prices are also good. I recommend it for eating pizza.

10/04/2026: By pure chance, we found ourselves there for dinner. Despite the fact that it was quite late in the evening, the kitchen was willing to let us choose from any menu option.
Everything was incredibly tasty, refined, and of exceptionally high quality.
The table service was impeccable, as was everything else.
WE WILL RETURN AT THE FIRST CHANCE!!!
(Highly recommended!!!)

24/05/2026: We had lunch today at Antico Castello di Moncalvo, and honestly, after reading some of the reviews, we were a little hesitant... but we had a great time!
We ate well, everything was delicious, and the place truly deserves it.
Reading some of the reviews, it almost seems like people are expecting a Michelin-starred restaurant... come on 😅
I've read complaints about some dishes arriving quickly, like the risotto. But it's normal for many restaurants to have the rice partially prepared ahead of time to accommodate the service; that doesn't mean it's bad or poorly made.
We had a great lunch, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Based on our experience, we highly recommend it 😊
