15/12/2025: Pizza: a pleasure we don't want to give up and that we renew every time we dine at Rocciavrè, a true institution.

28/10/2025: Truly excellent cuisine, carefully prepared and high-quality dishes. The waiter was very kind and attentive, and the owners were friendly. The only small flaw: after a bill of around €250, a complimentary liqueur would have been a nice touch to round off the meal with even more pleasure.

22/11/2025: A restaurant we stumbled upon on the road during our trip: Cavallo Bianco is one of those mountain places where time has stood still, where you don't have to worry about the outdated decor or whether the food is served on classic, outdated white plates. The food was simple but good and plentiful: for €15, we ate two excellent traditional mountain appetizers, a plate of tagliatelle with ragù, and a braciola with baked potatoes. The owners are two elderly people who probably weren't expecting to see outsiders in the area on a cold, snowy autumn day... yet we were greeted with kindness and smiles, told family and local anecdotes, and the owner even helped me put on my coat, just as men used to do in times long forgotten. My husband told me this was our anniversary lunch (which is tomorrow), and I told him that a simple and authentic place like this will always be among my fondest memories.

08/03/2026: Pizza tour, two people. Once they've explained all the pizza tour procedures to us, they bring us the first course, then the second, and so on. We start with chickpea farinata, then a focaccia, and then the pizza we're here for. From the start, we had the impression they wanted to fill us up with the first courses so as not to order too many. To receive the second pizza, you have to finish the first (where, however, preference is not given to the customer's choice), but when one of the first pizzas is Bagna Càuda, it honestly puts you off trying any more, no matter what comes next. Overall, the staff is friendly, sincere, and explains everything thoroughly, so you can't complain. I honestly don't think I'll go for the pizza tour again; I didn't have the chance to try it given the previous courses. Otherwise, the place was quiet and the staff were friendly.

The atmosphere is very noisy, but perhaps we were just unlucky in booking on a night when something wasn't working properly. 05/02/2026: Simple, clean place, courteous and friendly staff, always open. BRAVI! You can eat everything from kebabs to pizza and main courses. It's not easy to find a place in the area that's open after 10 pm.

25/02/2026: Parking isn't exactly easy... but if you can, it's worth a visit. From the outside, the place is immediately noticeable: it's bright, imposing, almost theatrical, and captures attention even from afar. It's one of those places that lends itself perfectly to birthday parties or events for kids and teenagers. They offer a dedicated menu with pizzas, sandwiches, and a variety of snacks, while parents can enjoy a quiet aperitivo. The food is good: the pizza is truly excellent, and the value for money isn't disappointing, even if it's slightly above average... but, as I always say, quality comes at a price. Personal: It depends on who you meet. Sometimes you're greeted with a spontaneous smile, other times with a thinly disguised snarl. It's part of the deal, but overall, the service is decent. Ultimately, it's a place I'd recommend, especially for those looking for a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. And as always... it's your turn.

09/01/2026: I just left the restaurant, the welcome was as cold as ice. There were four of us plus three small, very good dogs. The girl who took our order made a disgusted face as soon as she saw me walk in with my dog. My dog, after my friends with their dogs, made a disgusted face. Plus, "maybe the owner" put us at a table near the door, freezing cold. I also politely asked the girl for more meat on the pizza, but there were just a few pieces here and there. I'm sorry, but it will be the first and last time I pay for such a horrible meal. I recommend the two kebabs in Oleggio.

14/03/2026: Review for the pizzeria: It’s amazing. Worth the trip. We went here to kick off the weekend celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday (we have a Friday night pizza tradition) and couldn’t be happier with our decision. A real gem.

26/02/2026: A stunning place with an equally stunning view. The pizza is excellent quality and uses unique ingredients. The prices are a bit high, but for the quality, it's definitely reasonable, even though a pizza is still a pizza. In any case, you can try it to get a sense of how certain products compare to others and compare prices. Definitely worth returning to.
