07/05/2025: It's been a while since this thing happened but every time I pass this restaurant I feel sick at heart for what happened to me and for not having had the courage to respond. I stop to eat lunch alone (I am a Tunisian girl who wears a headscarf), I sit down and after a couple of minutes at the table in front of me 4 workers sit down and from there it all begins, they looked me right in the eyes and talked and laughed and continued like this for the whole time I was sitting with all the courage they have, they looked at me from top to bottom and laughed at me. the worst was the waitress when she went to serve them one of these she says in a voice clear enough for me to hear (you too should put that thing over your head) and other things that I couldn't hear and instead of defending me or at least changing the subject to calm the situation, she starts laughing and looks at me with half an eye to the side and says (hahahahha but of course that's all...) and says other things that unfortunately I wasn't able to hear because my head was based (which I shouldn't have because I have nothing to be ashamed of) and I only had their looks and their laughter in my head. and they continued like this for the whole time with this waitress who every time I went to them they started making fun of me again by looking at me to say "yes we are really talking about you" until I couldn't stand to listen to them anymore, I didn't even finish eating and I took my bag I paid and told another girl at the cash register but she didn't seem to be that interested either so I left with a pain in my heart because of all this treatment and because I didn't have the courage to face them and give this girl a nice reminder , because I said it won't be me who makes him lose his job if I had to do it. I have never had M..'s treatment like this in any restaurant or bar or any place (maybe behind my back because unfortunately it exists but at least not looking me in the eyes or in my face)

12/01/2025: Very familiar environment, where on Sunday lunch (but in reality always..) it is a pleasure to go with your family and where the customer is pampered all the time. The most complicated thing is deciding what to eat, because every dish is cooked to perfection... from pizza (in a wood oven) to fish starters (ohhh the peppered mussels is divine), to second courses both meat and fish... I recommend the fried calamari or the calamari steak... the best thing is the final treat with their liqueurs (licorice, banana, pistachio, melon...)

24/10/2024: Historic pizzeria where you have to go at least once to try. Fair prices and excellent dishes. Homemade pasta and excellent pizza. Update: Closed as of November 1, 2024

23/10/2024: A go-to place for local community here, the waitress was very nice and helpful with non-italian speaker customers. I chose pasta and pannacotta from the pictures in Google map.... However, it seemed that what they served 6 or years ago and today is not the same. 😅😅

15/04/2025: I came across this restaurant during my lunch break. The waitress listed the first dishes of the day and consequently I decided to have the "carbonara". The dish I was served was raw ham with cream/eggs. I understand that in a midday menu I shouldn't expect anything sensational but calling a similar dish "carbonara" in 2025 is shameful. Please let's call things by the correct name "cream and raw ham"

17/03/2025: I met this inn a month ago, for a simple sip of genepy..yesterday I went back for lunch with friends..good food, right from the mountains, XL portions, kind staff and owners and fast service.. I recommend it

04/03/2025: Dopo quasi 40 anni a Montoso decidiamo di mangiare la pizza da loro. Naturalmente abbiamo prenotato la mattina. Pizza molta buona, anche la birra ed il dolce. Ambiente semplice molto “montano”. L’unica pecca, ma poca roba, un po’ di attesa per prendere le ordinazioni. Gli altri avventori hanno ordinato fritto misto, spezzatino e sembrava tutto buonissimo. Bisogna prenotare perché il paese è piccolo e anche loro devono potersi organizzare. Ci tornerò per il fritto .

03/06/2025: I've been coming here for years. A great place with fair prices and good food. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. One of their best dishes (in my opinion) is the seafood pasta. Beautiful and delicious to look at and eat.

02/02/2025: Arrivati alle ore 20.45. Chiediamo un tavolo x 3,ci fanno accomodare nella sala superiore,ci danno un tavolino striminzito, attaccato a una tavolata di nove ragazzi rumorosi e maleducati. Il nostro tavolino talmente attaccato che i camerieri erano costretti a fare il giro dall'altra parte, altrimenti non passavano. Ordiniamo le pizze e tre birre e una bottiglia d'acqua. Arrivano due birre e la mia non arrivava mai,l'acqua è arrivata su mia richiesta a fine pizza. Servizio veramente scadente. Salvo solo la pizza in quanto buona. Prezzi leggermente alti. Sicuramente a Saluzzo si può trovare di meglio! Sicuramente NON CONSIGLIO e NON TORNERÒ!

03/03/2025: I went the other day, personally the pizza was quite good, a little floury, when the dessert was taken, i.e. meringue pie, an old slice was brought, sour and hard as a brick. When we asked for explanations, the waitress said that it wasn't true at all and that the meringue pie was okay, even though we had left it there they didn't even apologize, they didn't deduct the dessert from our bill. SHAME

22/04/2025: Pranzo pasquale con i parenti. Siamo stati trattati benissimo, ottimo ambiente e soprattutto menù (carne o pesce, a scelta) decisamente buoni! Rapporto prezzo qualità ottimo; oserei dire: imbattibile. Prima del pranzo abbiamo fatto una richiesta per motivi particolari e siamo stati subito accontentati. Non è da tutti neanche questo particolare…

14/04/2025: Since I was little this pizzeria has been my favorite and that of my entire family! Space Farinata, wonderful pan pizza. I have tried many around but NO farinata is like theirs and also the pizza and their fabulous ingredients. Plus their chilli oil is delicious!

30/05/2025: Premetto con il dire che ho frequentato questa pizzeria per anni ed abbiamo trovato sempre eccellenti pizze, ottime birre e un impeccabile servizio. Purtroppo da qualche tempo la gestione è cambiata e a parte il servizio, le pizze meritano un sei scarso.

22/05/2025: Era il nostro migliore riferimento sulla strada per il mare ed migliore in assoluto data l'accurata scelta degli ingredienti e le piccole coccole verso il cliente (toilette fornita di ogni accessorio per esigenze espresse e non). La gestione è probabilmente cambiata ed il risultato è assolutamente mediocre. Questa recensione vuole essere costruttiva e purtroppo il confronto è inevitabile. Accoglienza e gentilezza non sono in discussione.
