08/10/2025: I finally got to try Marisa's cuisine. A very pleasant and spacious place with adequate space between tables [you won't find those stuffy rooms with tables and chairs all packed together]. Even though it was a weekday lunch, I had to wait a moment, and only at the end did I understand why the room was crowded. I started with a pleasant appetizer, followed by ravioli with butter and sage and [this is the highlight] wild boar and baby potatoes, finishing with a slice of really good cake. This was my menu, but I could have chosen between other first courses and three other second courses and side dishes. The service was quick but not rushed. Accompanied by a good dose of friendliness from the wait staff: always attentive and never intrusive. In the end, I ended up paying a very competitive price for lunch, including water, ½ liter of wine, and coffee, below my expectations... between €10 and €20, but very close to €10. However, don't let the price distract you... it's the taste of the food you're offered that's truly worth it. I'll try it again, especially since I've been told the gnocchi are a different kind of dish. Finally, the view doesn't hurt: airy and lush with greenery. If you're looking to treat yourself to a Sunday lunch, I've been advised to book well in advance. Congratulations to everyone.

07/10/2025: As an "expat" from Campania here in Alba, it's normal for me to have fairly high standards when it comes to pizza. Yet I've never been dissatisfied at La Duchessa. Their pizza is excellent, with excellent dough and excellent cooking. They're generous with the toppings, and they have a varied menu, from classic pizzas to more unusual ones. The staff works incredibly hard (especially during peak season) but always maintains a remarkable friendliness, despite the volume of work. The atmosphere is a bit noisy when the place is full, both inside and out, but nothing serious. The prices are very fair considering we're in the north; you can't expect pizza to be the same as in Naples or Salerno (and even there, prices skyrocket in some places). All in all, an excellent place with a family atmosphere; I'll gladly return again.

07/11/2025: Honestly, a lovely rediscovery, starting with the very varied menu, which follows the lines of Piedmontese cuisine with a modern twist, along with other very interesting dishes. The open kitchen is truly delightful, as is the overall decor, with so many beautiful wines on display. I remember this place being historically in a different location, and the food was already very good back then. Excellent flavors, the pasta dishes are commendable, though plentiful, the veal with tuna sauce was excellent, perfectly cooked meat, and the creamy, grainy sauce was truly well-made, as it should be. For me, plating isn't important, but here it's taken care of. Congratulations. Excellent selection, excellent food, very fair prices, a nice selection. I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: We have just had the most wonderful meal here. Tapas of porcini, calamari and a bao. Then shared a steak. Cooked to perfection. Somehow found space for tarte tatin and ice cream. Excellent wine list. Lovely attentive service with lively interesting conversation. Nice friendly feeling with many regulars coming and going. The restaurant was opposite a hotel we love - Grand Sitea- and they recommended it to us. Great choice. We will be back in March when we are next in Torino. You can share plates here and everyone was. Very relaxed and easy going . 5*s from me.

08/10/2025: This place is almost exclusively for takeout. It can be a bit deceiving to see round pizzas on display when they almost exclusively serve pan pizza. Good, but not my favorite.

09/11/2025: We've been back several times and always had a great time! Excellent, high-quality food, especially for those who love fish and pizza. I want to compliment ALL THE STAFF, 🔝!!! Last night it was super crowded, everyone was in a rush, and despite that, the food was served without long waits and was delicious, as always. The wait staff was always courteous and smiling (which isn't a given when you're rushed, under pressure, and tired after hours of work). 11/10/2025: We recently went there with my family and I highly recommend it. The menu doesn't offer a wide selection, but we decided to try a little bit of everything, and it was all truly excellent. The dishes are incredibly flavorful, and you can immediately tell the ingredients are homemade. Add to this the friendliness of the waiter, and most importantly, the incredibly competitive price (we paid about €15 per person).

21/09/2025: My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant, and the experience was truly perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and immediately puts you at ease. The quality of the food is excellent, beautifully presented and rich in flavor: you can taste the attention and passion behind every course. Special thanks go to our waiter Alessandro, who with professionalism, courtesy, and a constant smile looked after us throughout the evening, making our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a special evening in a restaurant that combines quality and impeccable service.

27/10/2025: The place is welcoming, with an informal but refined atmosphere, perfect for both a family dinner and an evening with friends. One of the strong points of the menu is definitely the farinata, which was simply delicious: well cooked, just the right amount of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with that authentic flavor that only a good farinata can give. It is definitely worth trying! The service was friendly and attentive, with helpful and smiling staff. The other courses were also well prepared and plentiful, and the quality-price ratio seemed excellent to us.

08/11/2025: A great experience. The owner and her daughter are very kind. The food is excellent quality and you can taste it. Plus, while you wait for your order to arrive, they offer you their own high-quality Ligurian extra virgin olive oil, their own bread, and salt. Recommended.
