Est! Est! Est! - Pizzeria Ricci

03/05/2026: I'm back here after years... many, many years.
My last memory was of me as a child and a pizza with my family, at a place my dad used to go to as a college student.
Don't ask me why, but last night, along with my kids and friends, I booked a table here...Est Est Est.
A step back in time but in a restaurant/pizzeria projected into the future.
A simple, straightforward, tasty, concrete, and satisfying experience in every way.
The staff were always smiling and helpful, friendly, and never inappropriate.
It was really needed in the heart of Rome!

However, the taste of the pizza and the service are polar opposites.
The staff member kept shouting "Wait" until the very end and refused to take my additional order, so I saved money. But this is the first time I’ve seen a restaurant that tells you to pay before you even finish eating and have a chance to chew your food.
I pray that it was just that one employee.

17/05/2026: EXCELLENT service and food. Light, high-quality, and delicious. Everyone who works there is attentive and kind.
The homemade appetizers are delicious (especially the supplì) and the pizza is unforgettable! The option to try multiple toppings on a large pizza (for four people) makes this pizzeria unique. It's impossible to find one like this in Rome, and even harder to find a quality one in an area like Testaccio.
10 out of 10, we'll definitely be back!

SUPERLATIVE.
I watched the pastry chef make them, and the work behind them was amazing.

15/07/2026: Excellent!! The meat was TASTY (we had tartar and a steak with porcini mushrooms... real porcini mushrooms!) Then we had the pizzas, excellent Roman pizza with fresh ingredients and even whole wheat dough!!! Attentive service, we had two children at the table! I should also add that there is a play area for children, which was a welcome discovery! To sum up, the outdoor area is cool in the summer, there is parking available, excellent food, and a play area for children! Highly recommended!

15/05/2026: The pizza was good, but my wife didn't like it. The Greek salad was very good, and my daughter was happy. The tomato spaghetti was a four because my husband said it tasted strange. My wife liked the coffee. I give it a four because it was nice to get out of the rain, and the service was nice, though not overly helpful.

06/07/2026: Always delicious! Carefully selected ingredients. A special mention goes to the mozzarella they use, which really elevates even a "simple" Margherita. It does its job: you feel good, digest well, and want more.

03/07/2026: Recommended, we went to this place, nice, the pizzas were very good, even if much above average (19/20€), the cost is acceptable, but while there are customers, pulling up chairs on top of the tables and cleaning is no big deal.
17/06/2026: Great place to eat pizza outside the tourist area of Rome… The prices are fair considering the excellent quality… I highly recommend it!
